*Official 2015 Philadelphia Eagles* - Winning when it doesnt count (3 Viewers)

Good win. Bad red zone turnovers by Sam, but nice recovery. D has been really good this year.

Now I hope I don't have to hear the Kelly to USC rumors for awhile.

just like the press.

followed the twitter feed all game. After Bradford's INTs they were going crazy.

The frequency of the tweets slowed when the Eagles put it away.

People just like to complain.

Must win game and they pulled it out. After those back breaking INT'S we could have collapsed bet they kept moving the ball and converted. Hopefully this is the confidence builder we needed.

Helps that Cousins blew another one and hopefully we can get more losses in the division.

this is sad but true. 39 points and this thread is dead. Sad. And Bradford's two interceptions will be the most popular topic this week. Not his 333 yards or two touchdowns. Or Murray's good game.

maybe. i think the Eagles won, and played real well, but i am not ready to go as far as to say that they look like they can dominate the NFC East. For me, i got caught up in the pre-season hype and in the process of leveling everything out. They looked good today, but the Saints are probably a bottom 1/3 team in the NFC. one step at a time, but i would say i am content with the game today. happy they won and looked good, but expectations are not going to get high again until we see consistency and this carry over for a week or 2.

the OL has me concerned as well, but thankfully the play calling seemed to off-set all of the banged up guys we have in there

39 points, and the RB corps and run game in general looked good. Mathews looks great, nice to see DeMarco have a solid game, Sproles made plays too. Line played better.

Bradford made some bad, horrible choices in the red zone. Those two picks in the end zone could have buried this team, especially with NOLA getting the ball at the start of the 2nd half. But this defense makes plays, every week. Cox was/is a beast in there.

Very nice. NYG on MNF, staying at home, offense gets some much needed momentum. Let's keep it going and get to 3-3 with a whole lot of season ahead.

:football:

Did you guys watch the game or just look at the stat line? Saints are not a good team. They are not the team they were 2-3 years ago. They are one of the worst in the league. Eagles looked OKAY in the 2nd half. If they played a good team those 2 interception in the redzone would have cost them the game luckily the saints are bad. If they can put up this yardage week 6 and 7 then ill be sold but right now my thoughts have not changed much.

Don't get too excited. Eagles beat a bad team today. Don't let the names fool you
I felt coming into today that NOLA is a bottom 10 team, but wasn't sure if PHI's offense could bring it. I'm just happy that this offense finally did what they were supposed to do.

I'm pretty sure no one watched the game as all us Eagles fans are bandwagon guys that like to complain. We just get the news paper on Monday to see how outraged we need to be.

and if he made better choices and didn't throw those interceptions, we hang a 50 on them. What's your point?

Im an eagles fan too bud i just don't like to get over excited for no reason...

Saints are bad and we beat the hell out of them. So that's good.
I agree there is a positive out of this game. But it is a small one. The fact that we got a glimpse of what the offense could look like is good but it was against a terrible team so like i said I'm not sold yet but we have giants then Panthers. If we can put up those numbers again against both teams ill be sold that chip knows what he is doing

when you are 1-3, you will take whatever you can get.

I don't think anyone is getting too excited in here haha. 39 points against any NFL team is solid production and a step in the right direction. Still favoured to win a very bad division and hopefully this was the start of us playing to our potential. We see a decent Giants team next week so that will be a bigger test.... It's still okay to be happy with how we did today.

Needed a win and won.

Looked a lot better in quite a few area's IMO as well. The OL and team period were hitting very hard today.

Jordan Hicks just looks so damn good

If we head into the bye 3-4 or 4-3 without anymore big injuries I will be very happy.

Both of Bradford's picks were bad passes but he may have only had one other one all game that was bad. And on those picks, the DB made an amazing catch.

I saw Ahgolor in the tunnel and he was in serious pain, he's going to miss a good bit of time if I had to guess

We still have issues with drops

That's all for now......oh wait, Foles looked pretty good today. Sorry, I had to :lmao:

i am really glad we won,but honestly this was maddening Matthews has to get it together.
Cooper had a VERY bad one too but you're right, Matthews has to get it together. He's been very bad with the drops this season.
oh yeah, Cooper definitely had a bad one, but I don't even expect anything from him at this point. Matthews is our future and he kind of got bailed out on the one drop in the end zone because there was a penalty on us,

So now you can't get happy when your team wins?
are you from oklahoma?
yes.
Why are you an Eagles' fan? (And a steph curry fan)

Just out of curiosity.
I like what Chip Kelly is doing - especially with the guys he wants to coach.

I have liked the Curry since he went off against Georgetown in college. Been a Warriors fan even before he was drafted. Also, Kerr is a different kind of coach than Kelly - but he's one of my favorite coaches of all time in any sport . . . humble and self deprecating.

This goes a long way in alleviating a lot of the other problems that have happened this year (DEF staying on the field, not scoring, Bradford's stat line, the running game getting some room, etc.)

If you're saying Ahgolor is going to miss some time.....which WR will step up or is there anyone they can/will they bring in that can help get this WR's drop rate down (aside from a Stickum sales rep)?

From today? Huff was on the field a lot (not just the long TD), I think that's the guy that needs to step up

At the game today - crowd was definitely tepid

Honestly being overlooked is the D imo- they have been outstanding all year - really starting to love Jenkins!

Favourite team wins.

Comes to team thread to brag about how he predicted Green Bay would beat St. Louis

ShaHBucks ladies and gentlemen.

39 points and a sh#*$ ton of yards. I don't care who they were playing...that's an out-standing showing statistically.
