I think Rappaport was full of BS on that one.  Trading for a player under the franchise tag means you get them for 1 year, plus the rights to negotiate with them. There's no guarantee you have Cousins beyond next year.  Who is going to risk that unless you can work it out a contract in like an hour.  And at this point, who the heck would WAS roll out at QB.  Not like a starting QB is on the board.

They'll probably prove me wrong in like 20 minutes.  But I can't fathom how that trade would get done.

Reddick is one hell of a fit for the Cards D.

Cards can always wait or move up if they really like Peterman/Webb/Kizer. Wouldn't move up for Kizer.
