And I didn't see the penalty on Kucherov's breakaway. Perhaps that is homerism. 
Lastly, I didn't see a low bridge; I saw a hip check. That might be frowned upon these days, but that's a clean hit that didn't even result in a penalty. Then again, I thought Doughty's hit was clean in Rnd. 1, so there's that. I see the game maybe a little differently having been away for a decade. If low bridges are now frowned upon and it's agreed that they shouldn't happen (assumedly because they wipe out knees -- I'm guessing MCLs), then by all means stomp Marchand.
