Interesting Statistic regarding the Eagles and Giants: Since the 2009 season, the Eagles have a regular season record of 85-70, the Giants a regular season record of 72-83. During that time span, the Eagles record against the Giants is 16-4. So against everyone else, the Eagles record is 69-66 and the Giants record is 68-67. This is one of the main reasons I laugh when someone argues that Eli Manning should be in the hall of fame. I love when we get to play Eli. How many hall of fame QB's would you say that about?

Especially considering how he ran through us in the first half. I'm still scratching my head over it. Although I thank Shurmer for the victory.

For Dallas, the Saints game should be a lock loss, too.  Colts could be a surprise loss, the rest of their schedule seems pretty easy.  Tampa not scaring anyone and not expecting some week 17 spoiler action from Giants.

That would leave us tied overall and up in the division.

The Cowboys game is going to be really tough.  On the road, 10 days rest for Dallas.

There’s just a lot of bad coaches in the league. You see stuff like this everywhere, every week. The Bengals brought in Hue Jackson....I’m still trying to figure out why lol

The only thing that makes sense to me is they wanted to lose the game for a better draft slot.  Or yes, shurmur is an idiot

Vrabel last night on 4th and short at the HOU 3 ran TE Luke Stocker instead of giving it to Derrick Henrey. After that Lamar Miller went 97 yards and the rest of the game is history 

 
Washington claimed Reuben Foster off waiver but was put on the Commissioner excempt list for the DV investigation. According to Elliot Shorr Parks the Eagles checked in on Foster. Only team to call the Tampa PD where the incident occurred.

This is a good summary.  The Eagles/Cowboys game should likely decide the Division.Agreed that there is no way we are beating the Saints. I don't see you guys beating the Rams either. Overall, you have the tougher schedule, but not by a large margin.

IMO...what ever team ends up coming out of the East will not last long in the playoffs.

I agree except for the game vs Houston I don't see Philly winning. However, I also do not think Dallas beats a hot Andrew Luck.

Any team from NFC East will be blown out first round.

Probably.  NFCE winner will likely host Seattle or Minnesota in WC week.  Seattle playing tough lately and the Vikings are always dangerous.

Yea we're not winning the division. Dallas is way better than us right now. At least we have the satisfaction of knowing that we allowed it to happen. If we bury that team 4 weeks ago, they turtle up and call it a year. We gave them life.

They love attention and love to pound it in so many different ways. If they aren't getting attention like a little kid they cry for it. Not one of the posters coming in here trolling and saying we talked about Dynasty can even bring up one post or link from this forum about it. I guess because it's hyperbole and complete Fake News. I don't know if I'd be pounding my chest when Tim Tebow has a playoff win since Dallas last and both Kaepernick and Blake Bortles have just as many or more as them in the last 2 decades. The NFC East in that time Giants and Eagles have won a combined 3 SBs against what many experts are saying might be the best dynasty in Football history in the NE Patriots. We gave up 500 yard to Mr Brady and still beat him.

They are just desperate for any kind of relevance and obviously a little sore at who won the Super Bowl. It’s fun to watch. 

 
I mean the Eagles barely beat a crappy Giants team.  Really don't give a crap about the Cowboys or the Saints - we gotta fix our own ####.

Dallas’s D is ferocious.  They’re legit.  The one thing going for the Eagles is that they’re coming off a high so a letdown game is possible.  Other than that, can’t think of too much positive for the Eagles.  They better not choke against Washington.

 
Last night's win over the Saints was the only statement win for any NFC East team this year. Their defense looked great. Was wondering if anyone in the division would step up, or if someone would limp into the playoffs by default. They are the easy favorites now and can't see any of the depleted  competition beating them. They'll finish 5-1 in the division.

Amazing how things change from year to year.  Unless you’re the Patriots and # 12 is healthy.  That seems to be the only constant.  This is a down year for the Eagles but I expect a lot of success in the future with Wentz at QB.

Have you watched Dallas at all the last several years?

Nothing is a given. Them losing out wouldn't be shocking

I think for as much grief as Dallas got for giving up a 1st for Cooper, he definitely has helped change their offense for the better. And the defense is legit. I think it is much more likely that the Cowboys win out than lose out.

it really is one of the strangest things I can think of too with the comparison between last year and this year. Injuries play a part, but there are so many things off with this year injuries is like 9th or 10th on that list. heard a stat today that the Eagles are close to last in breaking tackles. How does a player go from breaking tackles one year, to the next not? I know some of that is reflective of Ertz catching so many passes, still just so many strange things this year

Should be a good test these 2 weeks coming up
