*Official 2018 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles* - Tough way to go out. Magic finally gone. (1 Viewer)

It's a shame it's against ATL, with their great run game.  I think unless things look pretty bad though, we roll with who we have. I like the athleticism Gerry brings to the table, so I hope he can continue to make progress and make the team.  We should have Hicks as well, unless he gets hurt earlier then usual this year.
Yeah I like Gerry too and the dude can lay the lumber. His issue was tackling though in college. He has the play making ability they wanted I think.

I might be going to this too actually.  How safe is it there in Eagles gear if you're not a total idiot?
Safer than most places, as long as you're chill most people will want to strike up a conversation and get the opposing viewpoint. Lots of talkative people. There's always one fool in the crowd though. Dallas is usually close to the top of list of friendliest places for opposing fans, Jerry World loves green.

We got tickets in 443 at the 50 yard line. They say a lot of visiting fans are in 442-446 so we shot for that. I'm not the least bit worried and we'll have jerseys on.

I did go to a game in Dallas about 12 years ago and did see an Eagle fan attacked by a Cowboy fan. But that was in Texas stadium. The Death Star may be more civilized.

:lmao:  you are wearing Eagles gear, they should run from you. We're from Philly, F'n Philly!

I've never been, but i would imagine it should be normal like everywhere else. Act like you are visiting someone's home. Don't piss in their cereal, etc. If Eagles score it is ok to smile and cheer a little, but don't go over the top. if Eagles win be humble, if they lose (which won't happen), be gracious in defeat. In all honesty, if you are an informed fan and objective it should be fine. finding other Eagles fans probably will make it easier, most issues are from some idiot drunk or some #### who won't call out a group, but if they think they can corner a fan by them self may be a d-bag. i've gone to Giants stadium a few time, and yeah it takes some warming up to, but for the most part it is has all been fun

i would hope most places are like this i've been to tons of Eagles games. May boo or generally raz someone walking in, but if they are sitting near and are an educated fan it is all fun.

It's honestly not surprising. Dude always been a scumbag. Getting rid of him was one of Kelly's better moves despite what we got in return. I've heard a few pretty bad stories of the dude over the yrs. One of my HS Classmates is a PPD guy was transferred to the district that was in charge of sorting out the Shady incident with the off duty cops. He got off easy because the DA was a huge Eagles fan despite multiple sources including someone who witnessed it who's friends with Hollis Thomas. Heard of people seeing him push or inappropriately touching lady friends while in public but no one did a dam thing knowing who he was. The thing with his kid is kind of new however the last I heard about him and his son was his baby momma had sued him for not paying child support. I think this ends MeSean's career. PED use isn't surprisng. Usually when you use your ligaments that he's had issues with Hammies and all are the first to suffer negatively from them.

This also isn't his first rodeo. Remember the party bus incident? He didn't touch the girl but reports were he did tell the body guard to throw the girl off. The off duty cops who were assaulted by him and his posey a year or so ago?

Garofalo is reporting McCoy was at MIA at 7am on a practice field this morning and to get from GA where the incident was to a practice field is highly unlikely. However some interesting choice of words used by him after that. He said police Report says the home was specifically targeted and specific items asked for. GF is on again off again and the victim and McCoy have been engaged. McCoy has apparently been trying to evict her from the house. Without really saying it per say he's basically inferring even if he wasn't physically involved in the home attack someone associated with him could've been. Maybe to scare her out of using the property?

There was suppose to be a court case about the eviction tomorrow. Women claims the eviction notice wasn't legal as it was given to her 16 year old son not her. McCoy had power to the house turned off when she went on vacation. McCoy has been going through the legal system to evict her. This case gets weirder by the hour.

Same here but if he gets locked up she has no money and nowhere to live. She gets 300k and forgets everything. Sad but money talks.
She can still get the money. Even if he's in jail he still has to pay. Look at all the debt Vick had to pay off while still in prison. Doesn't make it any different. I think whats more sad is people trying to victim blame especially those trying to Defend Shady. This isn't like we are talking about some girl accusing someone like Carson Wentz or Chris Long where we'd be more inclined to say yeah she's crazy. McCoy has a shady past when it comes to laws. We aren't talking about a saint here.

Michael Irvin had a pretty un-saintly past himself when he was falsely accused of sexual assault years back. I'm not a Shady fan, but the facts of this particular case are all that should matter.

Open practice dates announced.

Still free, but need to reserve tickets this year. Likely because they are afraid 90,000 people will show up and they have to turn 20,000 of them away. I like that they are also doing one of them in the evening, probably to help fans avoid the sweltering August heat. But would have been nice for the night one to also be the family themed practice.

so the Birds with Freinds had a real fun podcast the other day. It was with Jimmy Kempski and they talked about things i never heard of (we basically had McAdoo), and play a fun game where they choose 20 or so horrible things in the NFC East. Got some real good ones, i won't ruin any surprise. Basically the premise is to think of things that are horrible in the NFC East and they call "Go to Hellican"

if you are looking for anything to listen to get ready for the season or to pass the time, i highly recommend it:

Listened to a point. When the dismissive evaluation of division opponents started I checked out. ??

Listening to that takes me back to last off-season when the Eagles were the joke. I get where you’re going with this and I enjoy a good divisional burn but I’d never count out any opponent.

it's July, so i think this is the time to do that kind of stuff. and it isn't the team, it is guys talking. Why i like it is that it rings true for most of it. Zeke's feed me motion after a 3-yard gain doesn't make you roll your eyes? How every single talking head at the NFL and ESPN sing Witten's praises for his continued running after his helmet came off is a total joke too. As Kempski said, what else would he do, take a knee?

good light-hearted stuff. there honestly is nothing else to talk about until training camp starts. hearing some of the behind the curtain stuff is interesting too

So I was on South Street today for the World Cup watch party. After the World Cup guess what the German Brauthause showed? Yep That's right the SB again. I also got free food and beer because my Brothers friend from college knows the chief there. Long story short Bros friend is from Sweden and so is the chief. The chief met my brothers friend about 2 yrs ago and after he realized he had a friend to speak Swedish too he started bringing stuff for free on the house to his table. Ever since then if the Chief finds out my Brothers friend is there either sees him or my bros friend tells someone he ends up eating and drinking for free. Only thing missing was Sweden in the final. I had to leave early with my brother though after the WC and watching some of the game. My mom fell off a chair cleaning our wall unit in the living room and badly sprained her ankle on the same side I fractured a toe not 2 months earlier. So we ended up taking her to the ER. Either way just wanted to let you guys know we closed South Street on a mid summer day just to re watch the Eagles win a SB again.

Anyone know if the contracts/salaries of NFL coaching staffs are public?  Or where to find them?  (Not head coaches or coordinators)

I ❤️ the cyberstalking you and @Cowboysfan8 do in this thread. It enriches my Super Bowl Championship experience
You wanna know the difference between you and us?

Eagles fans have been posting in the Boys thread, it's been cool.

Steady comes in here and makes a harmless joke (that you probably didn't even get because you were frothing at the mouth when you saw his name in your thread lmao) and I "like" it and you're triggered

Grow up  :lmao:
