Goodwin is a soon to be 28 year old WR who has never had more than 3 TDs in a season. Maybe he has a good year but top 12? Really? If he doesn't have at least 8 TDs, he's going to need 90+/1200+ to get in the top 12. That's tough to see.

I could see it, but the concussions scare me from a dynasty perspective.

That's the catch and yard pace he was on the last 5 games of last year.

Those five games were against the Bears, Texans, Jags, Titans, and Rams.  He was shut down by the Jags/Rams and the other three teams aren't exactly a murderer's row for secondaries.

He's at a fine price in the 7th if he's Jimmy's go-to guy but there's not as much upside here as people are believing.

You don't go from 5 years of irrelevance to fantasy stardom as a WR (or pretty much any position).

He lost his his child. I think that had something to do with his drop in numbers. Being Garoppolo's is big for me because I'm a fan of Garoppolo. If you're not it's understandable why you wouldn't be as high. I'll happily take him a round earlier so i don't lose him.

I believe he was knocked out of the Rams game early on with a concussion, which is one of the biggest concerns for Goodwin (he's had 4 in 17 months).

He was a different WR with the 49ers. In Buffalo they used him as a deep threat almost exclusively, with the 49ers they had him running the complete route tree. He really was impressive and seemed to flourish in Shanahan's system, the 49ers gave him a big raise and extension after the season. I do agree that top 12 is really pushing it, but I would be surprised if he isn't at least a weekly WR3 with upside.
