Since there's been such a public clamoring for it, here is my expert breakdown on the Elite Eight.
Houston (-2.5) vs Villanova. Both of these teams are tough as nails and have great coaches. I'm kinda shocked Nova is an underdog here, but this screams "one-possession game" so it doesn't really matter. First one to 60 wins? I'm going Houston, but I wouldn't bet my worst enemy's money on it.
Duke (-4) vs Arkansas. I pray I'm wrong, but I think the Hogs' run ends here. Arkansas is gonna have to shoot lights-out to have a chance, I think. SOOEY!!!!!!....... but Duke wins & covers.
Kansas (-6) vs Miami. Kansas is the most talented team left and they are really good. Their defense in the first half last night against Providence was magnificent and won them the game. Miami's backcourt ain't no joke and Laranegna is one of those "oh, jeez - we have to go up against THAT guy?" coaches other teams fear. I'm pulling for the U, but I think Kansas melts them down the stretch.
UNC (-8) vs St Peters. I don't ####### know, ok? Davis has his boys rolling when they were kinda "meh" all season and St Peters keeps beating very good teams. That spread looks both too small and too big to me

I guess Carolina wins and St Peters covers?
