Official Alshon Jeffery - The Bandwagon (1 Viewer)

Who is playing him this week?

Who you considering him over?

Like him much better with Foles.

Got him mixed up in a PPR league with Mike Evans, Michel, Edwards, CJA, & Fournette.

2 of them have to be in my lineup.

Playing him with confidence, Foles really seemed to look for him a lot. 16 team dynasty so honestly don't have a lot of other options. Playing him over John Brown, Burkhead, Zenner, and Chris Hendon

Alshon Jeffery caught 6-of-9 targets for 82 yards in the Eagles' Wild Card win over the Bears.

Jeffery led the Eagles in catches, yards, and targets in his return to Chicago, drawing heavy boos from the Bears fans after his first catch. Jeffery has been on a mini-tear since Nick Foles was reinstered under center. He has at least 82 yards and/or a touchdown in all four games with Foles at quarterback over the last month. Jeffery will battle Marshon Lattimore next weekend.

That was his third ball dropped all year, is that true?  Wow.  It happens, hope the guy doesn't take it too hard.  He seemed to be genuinely distraught.  Sucks.  The way they rallied around him after it says a lot.

The twitter response seems overall positive for Alshon.  Eagles fans know what he has done and has meant to this team.  Last night's drop doesn't mean anything to me.  Probably are most reliable receiver just had a bad moment.  It happens.

Alshon Jeffery (biceps) was added to the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday.

The year is 2019 and ... well some things never change. All we have are death, taxes and Alshon Jeffery showing up on the injury report. Joking aside, the fact that Jeffery practiced at all is still better than a DNP. Until we hear otherwise, expect the injury-prone wideout to occupy his usual role Sunday against Washington. Jeffery should avoid ace corner Josh Norman (his focus will likely be on deep threat DeSean Jackson), though Quinton Dunbar is no slouch.

Zach Berman of The Athletic confirms Alshon Jeffery (biceps) will be "fine" for Week 1 against the Redskins.

Jeffery's injury stems from a collision at Wednesday's practice. He spent a portion of Thursday's session getting treatment, though the Eagles insist it was precautionary. Fantasy owners' antennas go up whenever Alshon gets hurt given his past durability issues, though his latest ailment seems extremely minor. He's safe to employ as a WR3 in all formats.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery agreed to terms on a reconstructed contract Saturday.

The deal takes $11.75M this year and turns most of it into a signing bonus, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Most importantly, this means $11.5 million for 2020 is now fully guaranteed. Previously Jeffery had no guaranteed money for 2020. It remains to be seen just how long Jeffery will work as the Eagles' undisputed lead outside receiver with DeSean Jackson now in town as well as JJ Arcega-Whiteside waiting for his chance.

Alshon Jeffery left Week 2 against the Falcons with a calf injury and is questionable to return.

Jeffery went down in second quarter. He didn't have any targets before leaving. DeSean Jackson is also questionable to return with a groin injury.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that Alshon Jeffery's (calf) status is in doubt for the Eagles' Week 3 matchup against the Lions.

Jeffery is specifically dealing with a strained calf. The injury reportedly isn't major, but his status is in doubt for Sunday's game against the Lions. DeSean Jackson (groin) is also banged up. Both JJ Arcega-Whiteside (93% snaps in Week 2) and Mack Hollins (85%) were forced into near full-time roles last Sunday night due to the injuries. JJAW, a second-round rookie, is the more intriguing fantasy option after posting a dominant 12-147-1 line in three games worth of preseason action.

Coach Doug Pederson said Alshon Jeffery (calf) is day to day.

Pederson said the same thing for DeSean Jackson (groin), so take it for what it's worth. Pederson called Darren Sproles "day to day" for three months last season. The Eagles are so banged up that Pederson canceled practice Wednesday and conducted a walkthrough instead. Jeffery and Jackson are likely both on the wrong side of questionable ahead of Week 3 versus Detroit.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo would consider it a "really good outcome" for the Eagles if either Alshon Jeffery (calf) or DeSean Jackson (groin) are ready by Week 5.

The Eagles are playing it coy with Alshon and D-Jax, calling both "day-to-day" coming off injuries in last week's loss to Atlanta. But the expectation is that neither will suit up Sunday against Detroit iand with a short week on tap after that (the Eagles visit Green Bay next Thursday night), both could be looking at multi-week absences. Zach Ertz and Nelson Agholor would figure to be the main beneficiaries in that scenario, though second-round rookie J.J. Arecega-Whiteside should also be in for more work.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Eagles are "holding out hope" that Alshon Jeffery (calf) can play this week.

The same goes for Dallas Goedert. Jeffery still looks like a longshot to play, but he won't be an early rule out. With DeSean Jackson (groin) sidelined and potentially Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arecega-Whiteside, and Mack Hollins are in line for increased targets.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Alshon Jeffery (calf, questionable) is unlikely to play Sunday.

It was always trending this way after Jeffery missed all of practice this week. The Eagles will move forward with Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, and rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside in three-wide sets, the latter who quietly played 74-of-80 offensive snaps given Philly's plethora of out-of-nowhere injuries in Week 2. JJAW qualifies as a sneaky FLEX play due to his sheer athleticism, while Agholor's target share did notably increase from 14 percent to 21 percent in his three games sans Jeffery just last year.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson is "optimistic" Alshon Jeffery (calf) will be ready for Week 4 against the Packers.

Philadelphia has a quick turnaround this week, traveling to Lambeau for Thursday Night Football. The Eagles could use a win after dropping two of their first three and adding Jeffery back to the team's wideout corps would obviously help in that endeavor. It's hard to truly gauge Jeffery's status until we see him back at practice. He seems closer to returning than DeSean Jackson, who remains out with an abdominal injury.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson said Alshon Jeffery (calf) is expected to play in Week 4 against the Packers.

The Eagles have a short turnaround for kick-off against the Packers but hope is Jeffery gets in a full practice on Tuesday. His presence, even at less than 100 percent, would do wonders for an offense that's still reeling from DeSean Jackson's (abdomen) and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside's (heel) absences. Expect Nelson Agholor to stay involved, with Mack Hollins getting run in three-wide sets by default.

Alshon Jeffery (calf) was upgraded to "full" in Tuesday's practice.

It was just a walkthrough, but teams take the injury designations seriously. It also dovetails with what coach Doug Pederson said, which was that he expected Jeffery to be out there against the Packers on Thursday evening. With DeSean Jackson (abdomen) still sidelined, Jeffery will offer a little more upside than usual as a WR2, though it is a tough matchup.

Coach Doug Pederson reiterated Wednesday that Alshon Jeffery (calf) is expected to play Thursday night against the Packers.

Pederson has been saying this all week after Jeffery was forced to miss basically Weeks 2 and 3 with the strain. JJ Arcega-Whiteside will head back to the bench. Jeffery and Mack Hollins figure to be the outside receivers, with Nelson Agholor sticking in the slot versus Green Bay.

Alshon Jeffery caught 3-of-9 targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 4 win over the Packers.

Jeffery's six-yard score in the second quarter was initially negated by a laughable Zach Ertz OPI call, but the penalty was thankfully overturned on review. Beyond that, Jeffery was having trouble getting separation, while Carson Wentz missed him on a drop-in-the-bucket second half third down conversion. Perhaps not 100 percent healthy his evening, Jeffery now gets 10 more days to rest up his calf before the Eagles' Week 5 hosting of the Jets. He will be a touchdown-or-bust WR3 for that one.

Healthy fresh Alshon. Does he show up today? Rated fairly high in many rankings as an end of the pack WR2 play... which is about what I expect for him.

Have a few swing for the fences guys behind him. Like Alshon’s targets but I have yet to see Wentz look right for a whole game, coupled with Alshon dropping a few easy balls.

Alshon Jeffery hauls in 4-of-8 targets for 36 yards in Philadelphia's Week 9 win over the Bears.

His box score doesn't show his three drops including an egregious one on third-down to give the ball back to the Bears down 5 late into the fourth quarter. With DeSean Jackson (abdomen) presumably back healthy after the team's Week 10 bye, Jeffery will be downgraded to a touchdown-or-bust WR3/4 moving forward. He can confidently ride the pine for your fantasy teams in Week 11 against the Patriots.

Coach Doug Pederson said Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is day to day.

Jeffery was dinged in the Week 9 win over the Bears. He's had the Week 10 bye to get ready for Sunday's date with the Patriots, but his status for that one appears uncertain. Already without DeSean Jackson (groin, I.R.), the Eagles' receiver situation would be in dire circumstances without Jeffery.

Man, I was already feeling like Jeffery could be droppable at the end of a bench If you have strong WR’s in front of him.

He hasn’t done much, but he is the number 1. It’s been impossible to garner any trade interest because of this, but also hard to drop a true WR1 even if now producing. There schedule also seems to lighten up.

Was really hoping D Jack would be back to spread the field a bit and pull coverage.

Ideally I’m benching this week then Seattle Miami NYG Wash after that is very appealing

I finally dropped this bum while my partner was out of town for work (😋).  He kept wanting to put (and his 4 points) in the flex every week.  I'll play RoJo for now, picked up Slayton looking for a late season hot hand (missed out on Hollister) - I'll keep churning until I find him.

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Jeffery is now on the wrong side of questionable for Sunday's showdown with the Patriots. Even if Jeffery does play, he will be on a hobbled ankle vs. Stephon Gilmore. Jeffery's absence is going to be a big loss for Carson Wentz, whose remaining receivers will all see huge coverage downgrades.

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson stopped short of ruling Jeffery out in his remarks Friday morning, though it's hard to envision him playing this week after seeing a grand total of zero practice reps. With Jeffery all but certain to miss Sunday's game, Nelson Agholor, Jordan Matthews and Zach Ertz should all see increased usage against New England.

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is out Week 11 against the Patriots.

The Eagles are extremely thin at receiver right now with Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, and Jordan Matthews among the top options. Making matters much worse is a matchup with a Patriots secondary that has been the best in football. It's possible that elite CB Stephon Gilmore shadows Zach Ertz. Jeffery will be looking to get healthy for Week 12's matchup against the Seahawks.

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is questionable for the Eagles' Week 12 matchup against the Seahawks.

Nelson Agholor (knee, questionable) and Jeffery are two of just five players with at least five games with eight or more targets and fewer than 50 receiving yards since Week 1 of last season. Carson Wentz and his WRs simply haven't managed to get on the same page for the better part of the last 15 months. Treat Agholor and Jeffery as upside WR4s if active. It'd be shocking if Jordan Matthews plays ahead of Dallas Goedert if Jeffery manages to return.
