***Official Big Brother Thread*** No Spoilers Starts 7/6 (1 Viewer)

If I was Cam I would've said in the diary room that I was indeed throwing all the comps and it's part of his strategy just to save face. What a pathetic "athlete".

Just to be fair, there have been almost no physical comps this season. The "athletic comp beast" angle is gone. Most of the comps were puzzles, memorization, or random carnival games. They don't do the obstacle course ones or anything that really favors an athlete anymore.

Chelsea is winning this thing, and I don't see a path around it. She's done a masterful job of planting seeds of doubt about Mackensy in Cam's mind, and about Cam in Mackensy's mind. Add in Rubina, who is just happy to be there, and you pretty much have Cam and Mackensy gunning for each other, and everyone else is safe. The only person I can see getting "quality of play" votes from the jury to beat Chelsea is Mackensy. Anyone else up against them won't have the resume.
Mackensy can vote out Cam this week if she wants. Hope that happens.

But he’s not even coordinated. Can’t get a ball halfway down a ramp. Tried to balance an ice cream cone puzzle piece on its pointy cone side. An athlete should have a little bit of a coordination aspect and competitiveness to him.

I guess I just feel like that's a generalization. Athletes are elite in their sports, but not always in everything coordination related. I present as evidence Celebrity First Pitches - especially John Wall.

...Now I have no defense to the ice cream cone thing - That's not athletics, that's common sense, and his clearly failed him on that challenge. That was painful to watch. Even my kids were wondering what he was doing.
Cmon. D1 athletes should have coordination and balance compared to an overweight gay man or a 4’11” girl. Cam saying he got tired halfway through the comic book challenge and took a rest break is a joke.

Mackensey is an athlete herself and she wipes the floor with Cam on every challenge.

Went as expected. Can only see 1 of the final 3 even (honestly) thinking about cutting their #1 ally at the last moment. But might get surprised. Will a goat be brought to the slaughter?

Fan favorite for $50k vote this week - still hope it's Tucker as the only entertainer + competitor of the season, even though he already won $20k.

Still kind of amazes me that the winner gets $750,000 - if it wasn't for being locked up for roughly 100 days + mandatory media appearances. It's less than what a typical FBG carries around in their back pocket or found in the sofa cushion, but still life changing for the typical citizen. $1k a week for playing, so jury = $14 for 14 weeks. They'll make more in social media profits, autographs, and interviews.
Comparison: BB Canada was only $100,000 Canadian dollars to the winner (but they show other prizes like a wardrobe, household appliances, vehicle, etc - so more than just cash).

Mackensy's HOH may as well be Chelsea's. She's made 2 bad moves for her game at the urging of Chelsea. Imagine if the final 4 included Leah instead of Rubina...

By voting Rubina out, she basically put herself in the final 3 with a pair who will take each other over her. If she kept Rubina, at least Rubina would've likely gone to final 2 with her. Her only option now is to win so she at least gets to pick who she goes up against, but the way Chelsea has been puppet mastering her, she'll convince Mackensy to send Cam home..and then lose in the finale. She literally played her last 2 HOH's for Chelsea's game and not her own.

Yep, I stopped watching the show when she sent Leah home. She is an idiot

Yeah, biggest moron in the history of the show.

Leah absolutely had to get rid of one of Chelsie / TKah this week.

Tucker and Angela have carried this season. TKah skated through the entire season :bye:
Leah already regretting not taking her shot at Chelsie.

Chelsie was the obvious choice. Biggest threat in the house
Wound up being the reason she's gone. Terrible game move.

 Angela.

If any of these folks want a shot at winning, Chelsie has to be the next to go. She's clearly the top one left. She got HOH Leah to bypass taking her out. And convinced HOH Mackenzie to take out Leah.
Guess no one else wanted to win

Been obvious for weeks no one has a shot against Chelsie and she'd sweep if in final 2.

Tucker the much deserved America Favorite houseguest. Dude and Angela were this season and game definitely went downhill after he left.

Mackenzie should have won America's dumbest houseguest. Imagine sitting there 90 days and giving away $750k.

Not even the dawgs at the crib would have voted for Cam over Mackenzie

Cost Makensy $675,000 (she did win $75k as runner-up) to pick a public speaker/preacher in Chelsie to battle in a debate after winning a record tying 4 HOHs. 7-0 vote.

A non-finalist - Tucker $20k + $50k (and gave away another $5k) won as much as the person that won the final HOH.

Quite a few on the show will make some free / decent internet clout money that exceed what Mak and Tucker earned on the show. That's why some go on the show in the first place (other than the cop, doubt he parlays the notoriety well).

Chelsie will represent the franchise well on future public events. Best speaker, triple threat winner in strategy/social/comp combo, and of course a SuperFan.

The way they all suck up to Julie Chen Everytime she comes on is sickening. Do they think she has a hand in the winner? And now that this season is over, thankfully we don't have to hear annoying Chelsea say "auntie Julie" 500 times an episode.

Yeah. Saw that finale coming a mile away. I don't understand people who play the game until the end then pick the moral high-road. It's a game. Play to win. She handed the win to Chelsea on a silver platter. Don't get me wrong - Chelsea deserved to win given the 2 sitting in the final seats, but Mackensy had at least 3 chances to change that outcome and chose not to. Idiot. Mackensy also had maybe some of the absolute worst answers to the questions posed to her before voting I've ever heard. Nobody believes that choosing to vote out Leah was good for her game or her own idea.

There are so many things that are really getting old on BB, and I agree, this idolization of Julie Chen is one of them.

I also cringe every time somebody starts a sentence in the diary room with "your boy," or "your girl." I think Paul Abrahamian started it, then Kaycee over-used it the next season and it's stuck around ever since.

Lastly - I miss the days when people would actually cast votes knowing they were in the minority instead of every vote being unanimous or near-unanimous. They need to find a way to put some value on votes, like tiebreakers in evictions go to the houseguest with the fewest cumulative votes in previous evictions or something. Make those dissenting votes count for something.

Mackenzie is a complete fool for taking Chelsie over Cam. Cam did literally nothing the entire game. No idea what she was thinking.

And I used to like Tucker but man is that guy annoying. Thinks he’s Jim Carrey or something. Just talk normal sometimes my guy.

Mackenzies speech has no substance. Her answers made no sense and not reality.

Getting rid of Leah was easily her worst move. And was completely promoted by Chelsie

Mackenzie mentioning overcoming her "showmance" of like a week 🤣

New season started last night. I have not watched yet but know Rachel is on due to following Janell on the twitters. The mixing of previous guests and new guests never seems to go well. Looks like a "Clue" theme this year. Can't be worse than the A.I. theme last year.

Watched the last 5 minutes tonight because I just happened to pass by it on the guide. It just confirmed for me that this show has passed me by.

Those accomplice tasks were waaaaay too easy. Not a single person would have failed or gotten caught. It feels like a cop out way for production to insert Rachel into the house with 99.9% certainty. And even if the accomplice was identified, Rachel gets to stay.
So what was Amy's incentive to succeed? We'll probably never know. Production will bury the story and move on.

Yeah - in previous seasons when they've had a "mole", there was incentive for their shenanigans (money / safety / power). I thought Amy was going to be safe for the first vote along with the 'have-nots', but I guess not. And while I'm usually the last person to be on the side of a reduction - dang you know that girl has got back problems.

I also thought this might be a season without the 'old player that has no chance of winning', but then they introduced the girls basketball podcaster.

Decent cast. My thoughts:
  • Adrian - laying low, making friends, playing the kind of game I'd like to think I'd play
  • Amy - playing the mom card, too emotional to win this game
  • Ashley - #showergate, edit makes her come off as really entitled and clueless. No chance.
  • Ava - every season has one, the shy girl that rides coat tails. She'll get dragged to the end but does not give me confidence she'd fare well in a final 3 competition.
  • Will - cool older guy caught in the middle between the bros and the cheerleaders. Could be a useful soldier for someone else's alliance in the middle.
  • Zae - I think he had a speech impediment at one point and worked really hard on correcting it. It comes out when he gets excited. He could be dragged along with a power alliance, but my read is that this is a guy that feels easy to vote out.
  • Jimmy - playing a great game so far. I usually caution about playing too hard too soon, but he's doing it on a cool DL vibe. This dude is a player, and one of my early favorites for final 2.
  • Katherine - dime store Katherine Heigl seems like an active player, but I think she's going to poke her nose in somewhere and get got.
  • Keanu - seems like a good guy. His "I'm a dungeon master" went over like a wet fart, but his nerdiness seems genuine. If he can escape the "we gotta get out the strong players" thing that happens every season, he'll go far.
  • Kelly - when she needs to step up, she has so far. Plays a very good consigliere. Strikes me as someone that will make some key moves behind the scenes.
  • Lauren - I got a soft spot for my fellow LSU Tiger, but she just kind of seems to be there taking up space. Prime candidate for a showmance.
  • Mickey - she knows how to communicate, and she'll be a key player in whatever group she aligns with. I like her.
  • Morgan - always analyzing. IMO, she's going to be the best at navigating this season. My early favorite for final 2 and to win it all.
  • Rylie - the cowboy. Seems like a nice enough fellow, but he is gangly and awkward. He's looking for a girlfriend and seems just happy to be there. No chance.
  • Vince - first HOH. Learned his lesson about promising too many people safety before the vote. It'll be interesting to see what he does next week out of power.
  • Zach - all American boy, former baseball player. Very friendly, someone that's good to be around. He hits me as the guy the other players say "I don't want to sit next to Zach at the end".
  • Rachel - the returning champion! I see her having a Cerie type run, but I can't envision her winning this. She won me money in my BB Pool in the past, so I'm pulling for her!
