***OFFICIAL CYDY/Leronlimab Thread*** (1 Viewer)

@chetMade some of us a nice chunk of change. He suggested a stock at $.29 and it went over $10 for chrissakes. Let’s let this sleeping dog lie.

Yup and I previously thanked him and wished him well on his last purposes.  Great call on his part.  I harbor no ill feeling towards the guy and even edited some posts at his private message request.

That said, he was very rude and condescending to anyone with a bearish opinion, especially since the study results came out.  Now he's all out while some others still own this stock.  Should those still owning the stock be ripping him for his current negative opinion.

Wish he'd gotten his "chance" to right the ship.

Also notice his post above.  I you have a dissenting opinion, you are a troll.  People analyzing the study delay and horrible results were posting based on 20/20 hindsight.

I'll drop it now.

Right the ship?  Stop lying and tell the truth.  I have been railing on Nader and management since I brought this idea to the board.

I thought you were (insert the proper work here) to replace the cydy mgmt with a different team...hence right the ship.  Not sure how using the term right the ship is "lying".

Yes you were anti-Nadar.  You were pretty pro-things he was involve in such as poorly designed studies.  While Covid gave this stock a pop, in hindsight it probably was the undoing given what were were being told about the other indications.

Right--we were trying to replace management and we got damn close save for a bad judge.  I am and was pro the drug but didn't know how badly NP ####ed up the FDA trials.

I know the drug works despite the failed trials. Trials can fail for many reasons outside of drug inefficacy. The world needs this drug and your incessant attempts to undermine it are not appreciated.  Go troll elsewhere.

So what is the outcome by this time next year? Bankruptcy close them down? Do they still owe all that debt to the toxic lenders?

Some of us knew how bad the trails were screwed up by the results and didn't buy into the spin.  Neither did the FDA.

FYI...I can't undermine a drug.  All I can do is have an opinion on the likelihood the FDA approves it.  I can also have an opinion that the detour from the other potential indications to Covid was a mistake.

In far more cases than not, you've been the one needling. You've probably said you'd drop it a number of times, only to bring it up again when it suits you days, weeks, months later when Chet pops up. You and Chet engaged in some banter, he won the day, and you're sore about it. You may think you're coming out on top. From my perspective, you're not. You're coming across as petty. Let the dude alone.

I cant believe they finally did it.  This is a good move but can the company be saved at this point?  I imagine this will be up tomorrow.

Worth a small flyer?  maybe

Feel like we just recycle old stuff in here and I'm as guilty as anyone.

The drug still may have potential, there were enough highly credentialed Drs that believed it was effective.

It definitely failed the trials, no argument there, they cherry picked data to make it look better than it was, completely agree on that too.

They also may have designed the trials badly and got the dosage wrong, jury is out.  Question is are they going to stay solvent enough to complete any other trials?

Man it was a heck of a ride when this was on the run, thanks for bringing us along as many of us out a nice chunk in the bank.  :hifive:

Did you ever share at what price you got out? Hope you killed it.

I'm in for a flyer.  Craps table money.

Only because I really applaud the decision to get rid of Nader, it may not be enough this late in the game but we will see.

If any real progress is made, I will consider to reevaluate this.

It’s heading to bankruptcy. What could possibly happen this year that keeps the lights on? They’ll run out of money soon.

Perhaps.  It's crap table money for me, I see it as a very risky bet at a low price with some high reward if they can get it together.

They got rid of a cancer so if this drug is any good, it may have a chance.   They likely need the BLA filed to give some hope and or success in the Brazil trial or if they can get the US trial off the ground.

I have to think with NP gone its more possible that someone may want to work with them if the drug shows some promise.

Don't turn the lights off yet, Cytodyn posted the 6.5 million dollar bond today that was due for the Amarex injunction.

A small victory, still rolling to try and get my pass line bet.

Warning letter from FDA stemming from September proactive call with Nader.

https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/cytodyn-inc-626957-02112022

Excerpt (what a ##### Nader was):

The video includes claims that promote leronlimab as safe and effective for the purposes for which it is being investigated or otherwise promote the drug, including the following examples (underlined emphasis added):

“In the United States, we did a trial of 394 patients which included severe and criticallyill population. In the critically-ill population, our results were really strong. . .”

“Our critically-ill population that we did in the United States when we gave a dose of leronlimab, the survival rate was 78%. Once we gave them another dose, the survival rate went up to 82%.”

“Imagine, if 78% went to 82, the next one would be maybe 88, and then 95. I am making up numbers, but if it goes to that kind of numbers, if it just follows the same pattern what we learned, this is going to be the most fantastic results anybody could ever imagined to have. Now I’m not saying that’s what we’re going to get, but I’m saying that’s what the results are showing.”

“The primary endpoint…is the discharge, the rate of patients who get on ventilator and get discharged. That endpoint was 166% better in our trial that we did in the United States versus placebo…166%.”

Shocked it’s not down even lower.

I have 1500 shares that I bought at around .52.  If it goes to zero, i had a bad trip to the casino.  Not losing sleep over it.

I'm not that optimistic at this point but I did applaud getting rid of NP.

I still think the drug could be legit, at least for HIV, if not for something else down the line, but this company is such a mess it probably doesn't matter.

I've got about 4k shares.  same boat as you.  lottery ticket level of expectation at this point.

Yea, this is me. I bought about 1500 shares real low when Chet started talking about it, and just sat on it. It was exciting, but was never really "enough" for me to cash out - I go into it looking for the lotto payoff when I buy a stock like this.

From seeking Alpha article:

In addition, CytoDyn (CYDY) has decided to pause its COVID-19 trials in Brazil, subject to results from a previously scheduled meeting of its data safety monitoring committee. A decision on the timing of marketing application for HIV therapy is also currently under consideration, the company said.

Have a feeling that we are getting close to the end of Cytodyn

https://www.cytodyn.com/newsroom/press-releases/detail/598/cytodyn-announces-partial-clinical-hold-of-hiv-program-and

FDA putting a partial clinical hold on their HIV program and basically shutting the door down on Covid altogether

Researched the reasons for a clinical hold

1. Human subjects are at risk for illness.

2. Clinical investigators named in the IND are not qualified by reason of their scientific training and experience.

3. Ball cancer.

4. Not enough of the drug available...only makes sense if the huge product purchase Nadar made is expiring.

5. The drug doesn't work.

So if HIV is out and COVID is out what are they working in then?
I wouldn't say HIV is completely off the table but this is a setback.

They should be still focused on getting the BLA for HIV submitted, whether or not they actually have the data to do that is another story but its all they have right now.

What a sad end to this story.  Great drug with completely idiotic management.  And some of them are more than likely going to jail.  Greed with narcissism is a very dangerous combination.

Kind of crazy how it all played out. Would make for an amazing movie.
