Walgreens isn't exactly a career company, they underpay and overwork their employees from what I hear. Might be time to move on.

I'm guessing around $10.00 an hour. It's much, much less work. It requires you to tell goons like me what to do all day.

Why dont you keep working your present position while also looking for an opportunity to get another position in your preferred field, the Pharmacy. I assure you that you are not the first person to be told that your being "developed" only to have someone hired in over you. Happens all the time. The sooner you learn that the better.

Yeah, that hooked me at a content production and web publishing position at a public university. Was told I was being groomed for management for two years before I quit. I got promotions and raises, but never anything significant, and the only significant one was where I bluffed them that I was going to jump ship for some other crappy position.

I think you should put your head down and worry about doing an excellent job at your current position for more than three months before you worry about a promotion.

The women hired showed 'zero months' of doing an excellent job.
