This is kinda why you can't judge a RB draftee's future based on the circumstances he's drafted into. I know Washington hasn't done anything yet, but its a good reminder as his value could soon skyrocket (or disappear, of course).
Some worried about David Johnson being drafted onto a team with Andre Ellington (while some said he was a bigger, better version, yes), Stepfon Taylor (who some liked and some called a scrub, yes), and who signed a surprisingly good looking Chris Johnson.
Another decent example: Christine Michael being drafted onto a team with Beastmode and Turbin. There are many more, but the idea is that situations change fast, and this could be one of those times if we're very lucky.
Or how about Spencer Ware drafted late onto that same deep Seahawks RB depth chart (a rare case of the Seahawks poorly evaluating their own talent as they wanted him to fit at FB), then signed onto a Chiefs RB depth chart containing Charles and Knile Davis (at that time considered a top notch handcuff). The list goes on.
