Good times with the Cow, first time I've had a meltdown in over a year! Felt good to get it out of the system. Our team had no stinking clue how to play the game, which makes it frustrating.

We were playing Karkand, yet based on Corp's running commentary . . . er . . . stream of consciousness swearing. . . I would have sworn we were on Wake.

Price of admission, fellas. Worth it for that alone. :whistle:

I discovered a new fun thing on TS - you hear keys being furiously typed over TS, watch out 'cause Corp is about to unleash a tirade.

 
I just bought this game due to all the recommendations here, so you'll have a new target when Amazon sends it to me sometime down the road. I guarantee I'll no stinking clue how to play the game. :yes:

I have 2142 on the new computer, but never could find BF2. I will pick it up while I'm out shopping for presents tomorrow. Daddy needs presents too.

No sir it did not. Celebrated my return with a knife kill in Karkand and a shock paddle kill in Sharqi.Cooleyo and I led a heroic charge to the top of the TV Station in Sharqi that was right out of an episode of The Unit.The statement "I'm compromised" was issued by both of us on at least one occasion.

That was hilarious. Shawn and I were sneaking around the back of TV Station, I was ahead. He then yells out "Run, I'm compromised! Go on without me!" It brought a tear to my eye. He staved off their attack and we took the flag ourselves. Good times, I'll be going in again tonight.
 
looks like my mic is busted for good (its over 8 years old) im listening though

edit: just not my night to play i guess....

1) Mic issues. need a new one

2) Accidentally created another administrator account on my windows, wiping out the default account. So when i tried to join a game i got a Bad CD key error. Had to do a system restore

3) had my computer automatically restart after a windows update

4) ended up 50 miles away from the battle every time. Was running around the map like a jackass.

Bad night. Maybe next time

By the way, glad you got the fire under control. I think you would have been the first FBG ever to have their house burn down while gaming.

Sorry about your mic man, it was really loud. Great time tonight though with 4 or 5 on, we won most maps.Yes, the House Fire of 07 will long be remembered. I hear my wife screaming upstairs, thinking that it's just one of her normal rants. The problem was she was just screaming my name, not FIRE!!!! I told her in the future FIRE gets my attention a lot quicker than if I think she wants me to come upstairs to take out the trash. I run up there to see our mantle ablaze from those stupid candles I despise, so I run in, grab a wet towel, and start beating the crap out of the fire. Back downstairs in about 4 minutes to finish up gaming. Good times, good times.
 
no need to apologize about my lousy mic. Ive had it for so long and the wires are fraying. It was just a matter of time before it stopped working.
