Do some of you ### hats enjoy anything?
I tell you what...I'd like my school a lot better if they kept Schedule II drugs in a storage locker that a 120lb woman can crack into without any trouble.Pssh. You definitely don't like anything.Yeah...your mom.Do some of you ### hats enjoy anything?
What if they did that but also made everyone stand and say the Pledge of Allegiance? We can do this "Card Sharks"-style and you can just say HIGHER! or LOWER! No freezes, though.I tell you what...I'd like my school a lot better if they kept Schedule II drugs in a storage locker that a 120lb woman can crack into without any trouble.Pssh. You couldn't pay me enough to be a school counselor.Although, if my job was to listen to highschoolers whine all day, I'd love to have some schedule 2 narcotics handy.

I'm fine with the lack of end-to-end chomping.I'm definitely enjoying this so far. I like how they are developing the characters. If you want nothing but end to end chomping go rent a "B" movie.
Good on you.We actually do the pledge of allegiance before one of our court sessions and it pisses me off to no end. I always refuse to do it and inevitably some 90 year old marine in the gallery gets pissed.
I think the whole point of this show is that you're not supposed to like the characters yet. They are soft city people about to be throw into the ZA - how they react and change will be the interesting part.I'm fine with the lack of end-to-end chomping.I'm definitely enjoying this so far. But other than Alicia's hotness, I don't yet care about the characters much. Every time Nick gets in a semi-dangerous situation I find myself actively hoping he dies.
Holding out hope the Latino family that took them in at the riot will help matters. Now that I think about it, other than Alicia's hotness, the characters I think I'd have most liked to see their stories evolve were Alicia's boyfriend and the drug dealer.

"I didn't leave a testicle and 4 toes on Iwo Jima so you could sit on your ###, Queerboy!"+1Here is the lazy writing peeve I have about the last episode.
Tobias. He knows what is going on. He risks breaking into the school unarmed to stock up on food. It is so important to him to get the food that while running out of the school he goes back for ONE can.
Then after they kill the zombie Allstate guy they are shown leaving the school most definitely not pushing a cart of food. Why the hell would you leave the food at that point?
To make it even worse TOBIAS NEEDED A RIDE HOME. What was his damn plan? To push a AV cart with gallon cans of prunes 5 miles down the street during the zombie outbreak? Then he most definitely gets out of the car without the food.
Oh and by the way what did he say in the first episode when asked why he came to school? He said "There is safety in numbers" Then when asked if he will come with the counselor and be safe with the numbers he is all like "No thanks I am totally cool being by myself with no car and not food."
Terrible
@ "zombie Allstate guy"Noticed that and hated it. How do they miss that?+1Here is the lazy writing peeve I have about the last episode.

They didn't miss it. It's not bad writing, it's lazy writing. I think they cut corners intentionally because they think their fan base either isn't very smart or doesn't care. That's kind of insulting to fans that do pick up on that kind of stuff. The van flip in TWD was the prime example.Noticed that and hated it. How do they miss that?+1Here is the lazy writing peeve I have about the last episode.

You mean the script should have included him in the rest of this seasons episodes. And I agree.I like the kid from the school that knew this was going down. And yet he seems to be one of the only people to have seen this coming.Tobias is fat with tons of acne - does it seem like he's been making good decisions in his life?
I thought #3 was the neighbor who attacked the bounce house lady. I don't think we've seen what happened to the daughter's boyfriend and family yet. Unless I missed it.LOL, agreed. These threads are awful at this point. They point blank said it was Oxy. Are you all deaf?
And I have no idea why a school would have some oxy handy.
1. Drugee son said Oxy to his mom. No idea why it is in school, confiscated or a stash for a nurse, etc. Seemed like a not so good high school (metal detectors).
2. We saw their neighbor looking sick when he was packing his car. He died and attacked the lady with the bounce house.
3. The car with the trunk and luggage at the end was the car of the parents of the daughter's boyfriend. They got home, he was a zombie and ate his parents.
No idea why I come back in here. The complaints in here are the opposite of the complaints in the other thread. Some people will never be happy with a show. You can say it is sloppy writing that people haven't explained everything, but as someone above posted they might as well just start at day 3 with Assault on Precinct 99 and show gang members teaming up with cops and Michael Cera to mow down rows of zombies. If they did that I think the same people would ##### about how the show never gave us any details on what happened when it started.
Is the show perfect, no, never will be, but geez enjoy the ride.
I'm with stbugs. parents came home, took a bag or 2 in the house to check on baby boy, and never came back out. so creepy, and I loved it.I thought #3 was the neighbor who attacked the bounce house lady. He'll be back. Hes the new RickThings Tobias knows (or thinks he knows)
They (whoever they are) don't know if it's a microbe or a virus.
They know it's spreading.
There are reports of it in 5 states.
They say it's not connected, but, Tobias doesn't believe them.
People (presumably dead people) are killing. He states he had seen this online.
The desert will be safer because the infrastructure (internet, cell phones, communications and electrical grid) will fall apart.
They will fall because there will not be anyone to man them.
They don't understand that when civilization ends it ends fast.
They wont contain it or warn them.
This doesn't end.
Did he learn this all from the internet? Does he have inside info from whomever They are? A lot of questions to be answered yet he isn't supposed to show up in any more episodes this season. FAIL. Hopefully he comes back in season 2 or was all this wasted plot line?
What, and move up two letter grades?I'm definitely enjoying this so far. I like how they are developing the characters. If you want nothing but end to end chomping go rent a "B" movie.

There was nothing wrong with that van flip. Don't bring your anti-TWD poison into this thread. They didn't miss it. It's not bad writing, it's lazy writing. Exactly. Some of these complaints make my head hurt.I think some of you need the novel version of this since you seem to need every minute detail spelled out for you.
I'm willing to stick it out to see how it develops. The Walking Dead immediately sucked me in. I honestly did not know what the show was about when I tuned in.This show sucks
That wasn't my complaint. I certainly understand getting out of dodge after being attacked by the zombie principal and seeing his head bashed in with the fire extinguisher. What I don't understand is where the AV cart full of cans went. OK, they left it, but when they revisited the scene at the end, no cart was there. Simple continuity to follow up on for them and they miss it.I think I'm going to find it completely unrealistic how they portray society collapsing, but obviously for sake of the show it has to happen so I'm just going to try and enjoy it, and am also interested to see how they portray it. I think the biggest risk in a real-life scenario (if it was possible) would be humans who fail to adapt or refuse to believe it is real, such as parents who refuse to vaccinate their kids, but I think the vast majority of society, their survival instinct would kick in and the outbreak would be limited (even if every person who dies ends up turning, it would not take long for everyone to realize how to handle this going forward).
I think society would have a disease like this figured out within the first few hundred to thousand deaths (within a few days they will know they need to kill the dead and will know they need to kill in the head). After that, it will be a life adjustment for the survivors but nothing humanity would not be able to deal with, but of course, for the sake of the show I just need to ignore that and understand it has to happen for entertainment purposes and will try to enjoy the ride as much as I can.
Complaining about them not leaving the school with food for instance. They had a plan then probably the most dramatic experience in their life happened to them, you can't blame them for running away, now they can analyze what happened and regroup. They still don't know exactly what is happening and are trying to figure it out in real-time. They didn't know if the zombie was dead or going to attack them again or if there were others. The kid probably wasn't expecting to encounter one, and it actually would still have been almost completely safe to walk down the street with a cart at that point.
Not me buddy. I'd go straight for the Twinkies. Why would a school have antibiotics?
Isn't it illegal to put a bounce house in your front yard?
Pretty sure black people only let other black people cut their hair. Sloppy.
I sure hope that cop paid for that water.
Screw those cans of food. I'd go right for the chocolate milk and peanut butter squares.
