***OFFICIAL*** FFA Pigeon Thread (1 Viewer)

I'm spacing on the programmer guy in Cali who bailed on a big bill.  There was a thread about him, and people got in touch with his office, but I can't pull the name.  His FBG screen name was shady though.  And his real name was North African or Middle Eastern.  Can't believe I don't remember the details, or even what the league name was.
kremenull (sp) I believe.

Guy owned multiple teams in league I was in.

For the record,  it's welsher.  I'm pretty sure I know my welshers and skedaddlers.

Just want to point out that after the 2012 election, @tommyboy was fully paid-up in less than a day.  Class act and admirable gambler.  Wish they were all like that.
tommyboy is an absolute class act. During our $500 bet over Obamacare he offered to pay me even before the bet was over because he thought he'd lost. I refused to accept, and he ended up winning. But it was a grand gesture.

I honestly like cstu. He's a good dude.  But I hate welshers...and a few of the owed are also good people and friends.  Let's just end this cstu, make an easy payment plan and you'd gain/keep a lot of respect.  It's not that hard man. Hoping you'll show tomorrow.

He made some bets that were ridiculous to everyone but him.  Then showed up the next morning and paid them all out.  All class.

You guys are just paranoid.  Nobody walks away from that body of work for a few bucks.  Probably just out of office or something.
:lmao:

Dude, I know I'm not in your tax bracket just yet, but I'm getting pretty up there. And I still absolutely think $2100 is a lot of money.

By the way, if I had to put a price tag on the Otis account, that would be hard for me. I'd easily cough up 5k to stay here as Otis. I'd have a hard time walking away for $10k. $25k would do it, but something less than that would eventually become a difficult choice for me.

My interns and I have worked too hard for too long to build this empire.

i plan to welsh on the FFA hoops leeg in May 2017.  $700-.  seriously, guys on an iMessage board sent a complete stranger money.

I collected a grand from a facebook friend today.  Good times.  Wish i would have known that 7 to 1 was being offered here.

I have a particular debt that I'd love to pay off that's 9k.  I'd do it for 9k.

Honestly, I'd probably start thinking about it at about 2500.  Anything below that no way. Anything at or above 9k absolutely.  In between there I'd have to think about it. Unless, you know, somebody tossed that magical period after "Members" for me.

Everyone needs to start talking about long hug sessions with their wives. It's like catnip to him.

Not to be the old dad guy here, but no reason to ruin a guys life over this. Keep his private info private. This ain't a life or death situation here.
Peyton's heart is failing from the stress.  He found a slightly used one on the black market for $700.  It actually is life or death.

Zero intention of ruining anyone's life (and I think that's a touch dramatic).  It's his decision to bail on 2100 dollar worth of bets and his decision whether he shows back up here or not.  No one's ruining cstu's life except for cstu - ball is in his court.

If you stiff American Express for $2100 you can bet your ### they will call you and your mama.

i think CTU is good people, give it time nerds.
He was on these boards 24/7 up thru Tuesday night and then he suddenly disappears right after the election is called?  That's not the behavior of a guy who's going to honor his bets.

$2200 damnit

He's either too scared to tell his wife or his wife threatened to leave him. "Me or the fantasy football nerds" She definitely wears the pants there.

Just amusing to see him use the word "rack" and bail over 2 of them. :lmao:  Give him time. Dude posted avg almost 50x/day here everyday the past 3 months and suddenly disappears. But yeah, give him time. To grow a set.

I will bet you $50 he doesn't grow a set and pays me.

He doesn't owe me a penny, so I don't have a dog in the fight.  But as someone who used to gamble a lot and hung out with guys who gambled a lot, I learned you'd find out a lot about the type person someone is when it comes to paying gambling debts.  It could be a bet with someone you knew or you loaned them money to cover a bet or at a casino.  If you get in over your head, I get it.  I did it when I was younger.  But you reach out to the people to try and make it right.  You tell them when you'll have the money or when you can pay part of it.

I hope this works out good for all involved and there is some valid reason he isn't checking in.  But it's odd that he's just outright disappeared suddenly and radio silence tends to be a trend when someone who owes you money doesn't have a real plan on paying.

I am strongly considering legal action against @fantasycurse42 Et al

I will be contacting Otis, Dewey, Cheatum & Howe in the morning to consider filing an iSuit for tortious interference with contract against the co-conspirators.  We will be seeking compensatory damages in the amount of $100, treble damages, pain and suffering damages, loss of consortium, and punitive damages in amounts to be proven at trial.  We, of course, will also be seeking attorney's fees, plus court costs.

Good day.

Sinn Fein

And he checked in yesterday around 1pm. That says a lot too.

Ah, I thought Paddy was the only irishidiot out there ;)

Sebowski and jomar post here, not sure if they're still around Fever.  Last time I checked Fever it was a ghost town.  Are you OG Antsports too like I am?
I still remember the welcher from Antsports, Radwoodson.   remember that episode?  he ran off with some FF entry fees.

that was a few years prior to MCM's welch.  @irishidiot's notebook is wrong on MCM.  he was from downriver Detroit.  he disappeared for a week with a few grand and came back online with a story about his grandma needing a lifesaving surgery and he used the money for that.  I distinctly remember being called an ####### because I doubted his story.  turns out later, unsurprisingly, he admitted to gambling it away.  someone found his address and a group was trying to talk my into driving by his house and leaving him a note.  thought about it but ended up thinking the better of it.

I feel for the welchees but this thread could be entertainment for years if he doesn't show up.
