I hear you.  I got someone who owes me over 2500 that was supposed to be paid 3 months ago on a loan that was for a WSOP event.  I have been pretty pissed off because of lack of communication and no clear path to pay me off.  Hell I would be happy with any consistent payment plan.
poker players.  smh

Huh? Respond to whose posts? All I was saying is I doubt anyone is dumb enough to allow a new alias to buy the bets and then believe whatever cstu would say after months had gone by about why he didn't pay. If he can't pay the proper thing to do is bring it up now, not later especially after setting up an alias account to try and buy the bets.
That's actually kind of a brilliant idea.

I don't even know how you all remember this stuff. When I read your post I had to think for 3 minutes "wait was that me?"

We've all been here too long. I was like 22 then.
The day we found out you were 'gocanes' was a seminal moment in FFA history

I think the only surprising thing here is that you have a bunch of guys on the internet who made a wager, at dubious odds, with a stranger on the internet, and expected to get paid.

You're not out anything - you never had anything to begin with...

@cstu - when you get this - send what you can to a Veterans Organization - I'm good with that, and consider us square.

So last night we put the kids to bed early.  My wife lit some candles. I grabbed a bottle of wine and put on my favorite Panties Dropper CD.  I'll keep it PG and say we hugged so much it would've made @Nathan R. Jessep and Marissa blush.   Hell, my arms have never been so sore.

To think we've been together for 19 years and can still hug like we are teenagers.

Not quite. The FFA is different. There's history here. It's not like these guys made bets with "hotrod6969" who just joined the site. cstu is a long time poster here and should have expected to cover his bets....even people didn't know him on a face to face basis.

A lot of people would cover the bets. (most people never would have made the bets - particularly at 7-1)  I am just saying whining about not getting paid now, is probably as foolish as CSTU was in making the bets in the first place.

It's none of my business but just throwing this out there. Maybe if you guys owed money asked him to pay at 3 or 4/1 he would be more apt to show up and do it? Something more square with Vegas odds the day before?

Not saying that's acceptable, just may be a way to get something. (Probably not though)

All decent people would have covered the bets.  This tells you all you need to know about his character.  I'm sure this is telling about how he operates outside of the i-world.

the DetroitFan365 stiffjob was only for just under $200 to me, but I think he owed Jules another $100 or so.

Checking cstu's feed, good grief this guy posted about every 10 mins. He must have alot of free time in his life now. He is probably off buying that TV and refrigerator he was talking about.

More liking he's off scamming and lying to other people.

7-1 was just stupid.  As much as we think we may know, we really don't.  He really thought there was no way Hillary could lose.  Sometimes you need to check your ego.

He called himself an Alpha male. That's all you need to know about his character.

If it were me, if he came in with $1000, he would get semi-forgiven.  At least enough to show his face again and not get hassled.
