****OFFICIAL**** Green Bay Packers Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

I think they need to go offensive line (guard or center) or defensive line in the second. Hard to say though because they have many needs.

We'll have to see what Thompson got but Jackson could be one of the biggest steals of this draft. GREAT pick by Belichick.

I missed it, did they trade down?

Yup. No word yet on what Thompson got but it had better be good to have passed on Jackson.
Hmmmm, one of the best teams and front offices over the past 5-6 yrs wants to trade up to take a player. Ya think they might know something?Way to eff it up Teddy boy.

Exactly... we move down essentially a whole round for an extra pick at the end of the 3rd? :wall:

Pack Rd 2 traded to New England Patriots for 52nd and 75th picks However, Pack just traded up. No details yet.
Javon Walker traded to Broncos for next pick (#37)Hmm -- wouldn't CJ look good at this pick. Oh that's right -- he's gone.

Wow. Why not take Chad instead of doing the trade with Pats if they had the deal with Denver already in place.

Horrible trade with NE.

We could have taken Jackson there, and then traded Walker, then traded with Atl like they must have and come out of it with even better picks.

Like I said way to eff it up Teddy boy.

the packers make some interesting trades:

pick #36 to NE (FLA WR chad jackson) for picks #52 & pick #75

WR javon walker to denver for pick #37

pick #37 to ATL (VT CB jimmy williams) and #139 (5th) for picks #47, 93, & 148

WOW!

I don't know what the hell that was all about...but GB just screwed the pooch big time. way to stock up on those later picks and passing 1st round talent on to others

Is Ted Thompson special? He just traded Chad Jackson, Javon Walker, and Jimmy Williams for picks that with him pick he will bust. I hope he feels proudn for screwing the Packers franchise

I am embarrased to be a packers fan right now

so i'm the only one who likes this combination of moves?

the packers have a ton of holes...and they are going to actually fill them now

What a dofus thompson is.

Why didn't they take Jackson with the 36th pick and then trade Walker for the 37th and pick again?

:wall: :wall: :wall:

To think they couldve come out of these first 2 rounds with AJ Hawk, Chad Jackson, and Jimmy Williams. 3 frist round talents.

Matt Millen is laughing at Ted Thompson's incompetance.

Yep -- and they're going to have enough draft picks to draft the entire Barcelona Dragons defensive squad.
