***Official Julius Thomas Hype Train*** (2 Viewers)

The guy has looked like a beast out there since week 1. Fast, strong, hard to bring down, great hands. Fun player to watch.

74-yard TD? Was it a bomb or after the catch?

Who does this (besides Graham)?
This one was all Julius Thomas. Pass couldn't have been longer than 6-8 yards and then he curled it up along the sideline and took it another 65-70 yards. Someone made a good block near the sideline (can't remember who, I was watching JT's feet next to the sideline) but Julius showed some good Long speed on this play

Agreed. I don't get the criticisms of his athleticism. He might not be skying for fades like Cameron, but he does other things better that Cameron can't do--like outrun a defense for a 74 yard TD down the sideline.

Decker for the block.

Funny thing was on that play I though it was D Thomas not Julius. Crazy how athletic that guy is (both really),

It was impressive. Very few TEs could have turned that into a TD. Vernon, Graham, and Gronk come to mind.
I think Julius is the only one to score there. Graham and Gronk get run down, and Vernon steps out of bounds in the tip-toe portion.

Rotoworld:

Julius Thomas (ankle) is practicing in full this week.

Thomas is over the ankle injury he suffered in Week 8, as evidenced by his three catches for 96 yards and a touchdown last Sunday. He remains an elite TE1 play every week. The Chiefs are up next for Orange Julius.

In case anyone needs a big game from him, I just benched him for Gronk. I expect Orange Julius to have a monster game as a result.

they will prob just keep him out with the game in hand. must not be that bad
He came in and was having an issue with it. After his single play, in which he was moving gingerly, he could be seen flexing, bending, testing and grimacing. Then left game for final time.

I saw it live, don't have a replay, but I don't think it was dirty. Looked like he got his foot caught is what caused the knee to hyperextend. Just one of those plays where a lot happens in a millisecond of time. It looked bad on tape, but it was nice to see him be able to take another snap before leaving.

Naturally, it's a Sunday Night game this week. Are we all stashing Dreessen just to be safe? It's tough for me to find room but I just may have to.

Nice try, but a mere reverse jinx won't work on the likes of JT.
 If you have seen all the poor (in retrospect) line-up choices I have made the last few weeks, you would understand this is probably just another in a long-list of blunders.

This is what I will be doing unless somehow the news gets more concrete throughout the week.

Dressen is not completely awful.

How much chance is there that Dreessen steps in and properly replaces Thomas' production ? I remember he got a TD a couple of weeks back when Thomas had to come off the pitch with that ankle injury.

Dobson is my JT replacement. But who will be my Reed replacement :oldunsure:
Same boat with JT and Reed ...also missing McCoy and DJackson on byes so I am rolling out Stafford, Mathews, Vereen, Decker and both JT and Reed if they play ..... If both do not play I guess I am going TRich :bag: and trying to get GGraham off Waivers

If Welker's out then JT might be relied upon more. But I also heard that Welker's on track to play, too. Nothing set in stone for either of them yet, though.
