I don't watch George Lopez. But there's a link on fark.com that discusses his and her (Julie Bowen, a guest last night) decision to air a photograph of her demonstrating how she breastfeeds her 1 year old twins. With a pic to illustrate her "double football" style hold.

Anyhow, love the show. Definitely see what people are saying when they are complaining about Bowen's fake boobs being disappointing, though. But not in the breastfeeding pic, I guess.
neat

Was it just me, or was that the weakest episode of the season?Still a worthwhile 22 minutes of television, but I didn't think it was up to their usual standards at all.
:goodposting: Still the best show out there but they were not on their A game for the last episode IMO, can't wait for next season.

damn, maybe I was just in one of those easily-amused moods. I thought it was hilarious. :lmao:

Was I the only one who got in trouble with their SO when Phil didnt answer Claire's phone call while at the game? Apparently I laughed a little too hard at that one.

"You never do that do you honey?"

Part of the problem may have been that the Hawaii episode was so great and would have been a perfect season-ender. Hard to follow that one up.

Thought Phil killed it again last night. I loved the opening scene when Julia Bowen told him he better try on his white pants because if they don't fit he's going to stick out like where's waldo, and Phil just casually goes "Actually, Where's Waldo doesn't stand out; he's super-hard to find. Also, his name is just Waldo."

Also, when Cam goes "I get it, you're terrified of small talk and birds, you're just lucky that pigeon didn't want to chat you up about the weather."

i liked last night's episode a lot but it was kind of predictable. everything was laid out early and you could see where the jokes would be coming from. it was still funny though.

gloria/sofia in that white dress? just absurd.

Phil has a lot of Gob Bluth in him. :excited:

Thankfully my wife was half asleep at that point because I lost it when Phil did that.

A buddy of mine was dumped when his then-girlfriend caught him doing that at a traffic light.

my favorite line of the night. Also, was watching with the wife, and she said something along the lines of my friend doesn't like Claire because you can tell she got a boob job."

I looked at her for a second and said: "What a horrible reason not to like somebody. Why does your friend hate aesthetics?"

Got the silent treatment for a bit.

That Where's Waldo line was great. The way he delivered it was hilarious.

It was subtle, but at the end when Phil thought Claire saw both his dismissal of her call AND the kiss, he looks up in the air as if he's looking for a Big Brother camera/satellite. Freaking hilarious.

This is far and away my favorite show, and probably my favorite in the last several years. I enjoy every character. Even the kids are funny, and that's unusual. I tell everyone I know they should be watching, and several people are trying to get caught up.

The slow motion scene was hilarious.
The juxtaposition of Cam singing Ave Maria with Mitchell destroying the house in slo mo was awesome.I can't place it, but I seem to recall a scene from a movie that was similar, but regardless, it was hilarious.

This was absolutely awesome. It was so subtle, I almost thought I imagined him doing it.

Also subtle, but great, was Cam's reaction to the thin applause at the end of his moment. Pride/disappointment/confusion all rolled into one look.Mitchell was the MVP of the episode though.

He definately expected a lot more. Great finale!

14 Emmy nominations, including Best Comedy Series :boxing:

Supporting Actor nods to the actors playing: Phil, Cameron, Mitchell, Gloria, and Claire.

I like Phil's character the best, but i think the Cameron guy has had the better acting season.

Their ad in an attempt to get more people to vote for them for the emmys.

Just watched whole first season in the past week.

My favorite parts of season that really had me bust a good laugh:

Al Bundy (forget his character name): Manny thinks his dad is like Superman. The only thing his dad and Superman have in common is that they both got into this country Illegaly

Phil: (talking to camera) Sometime the guy has to show he's in charge and not have to do what his wife tells him (looks over shoulder to see if Claire was listening and then finishes sentence...)

Phil's whole reaction to the Ed Norton guy was the funniest stuff of the season, him talking to camera saying who is that band was great. Also him listing the things his wife could have gotten him for Valentines instead of the hug coupon was gold. Um, a Rock shaped soundspeaker.....

It took me a few episodes but I am loving this show now. Really funny. Not to mention the Colombian mother's boobies are really hypnotizing. :)

The show does so much subtle humor like when Phil has to go through the progression again to remember Nick's name after he shows his wife the time machine station wagon.

Great stuff! I thought the scene where Mitchell fakes running into the fence and then accidentally trips over the bushes and then plays it off like he did it purposely was hilarious.

Walking home car-less and the kids laughing about the wagon rolling away and mocking Claire/re-enacting the moment......."What's the plan here Phil?"

:goodposting: Loved the tight shot of her stirring salt into the chocolate milk.
Noticed that too. During that scene when the camera would scroll from Manny and Kelly to the Colombian chick the camera would pause on her boobs for like a second. No complaints from me.

Hell, even I noticed it. I've really got to try the salt with chocolate milk thing.

Seriously, that was some incredible marketing for salt....or chocolate milk......or plastic surgeons. I think it was when I began to sway back and forth that my wife smacked the back of my head.

Mitch waving around the jigsaw while keeping his finger on the trigger and slicing the roses off left and right........."Oh my god, you two are in co-hoots....!!"

Cam fixing the sandwiches......"Wait, the condiments.....we're men, not cavemen."

This is the brilliance of the writing. I saw the accidental tripping coming a mile away, I thought it was clear they were building up to that. I did not see him passing it off an another accident coming. That was good. One of my favorite, more subtle lines of night:Al Bundy: A man club, that sounds like where you and Mitchel met.Cam: Of course not. We met an an orgy.I love the turning of the screws in the bonding moment.
