I just did.  He once again stopped a speech to address directly a little girl in the crowd.  He did it a few days ago too - commenting on how she was crossing her legs???  That’s just weird - by any standard.  I’ve never seen a President do that once in his entire Presidency, never mind twice in one week.

 
President Joe Biden said the United States as a great nation needs to come to terms with its "dark side" at an event on Tuesday in Oklahoma remembering the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa race massacre. Biden made the claim that Black entrepreneurs don't have the same problems as white entrepreneurs because the latter has "lawyers" and "accountants."

in fact, I doubt anyone would trust Biden to drive on a 4 way interstate in rush hour traffic - but they voted for him to lead the nation .... of course, they really voted to get Trump out (and people voted Trump to assure Hillary didn't get in)

none the less, we CAN call Biden what he is and what he's doing fairly and equally just like we did Trump and I'm not seeing that at all

 
I don’t think you guys realize how historically important Biden’s speech was last night- first President to acknowledge what happened in Tulsa 100 years ago, one of the worst crimes in American history.

America is great when rated against other countries.    It doesnt measure up when compared to Utopia.

I believe the United States of America is the greatest country in the history of all civilization. But that greatness rests on 6 pillars (in no particular order): 

1. Self-crititicism and the ability to improve. But modern day conservatives seem to resent and oppose whenever this happens. 
2. Open and free immigration. But modern day conservatives strongly oppose this as well. 
3. Capitalism and free enterprise. But modern day conservatives oppose free trade, the single  most important aspect of free enterprise. 
4. Freedom of speech. But modern day conservatives only seem to like this for their side; they seem quite eager to want to regulate private social media and dictate what they can and cannot say. They use words like “censorship” inappropriately to describe private concerns. 
5. A free independent media that, in the words of Mencken comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable. But no aspect of our society is under greater attack by modern day conservatives  as this one. 
6. Our determination to spread freedom around the world. We rescued Europe from the Nazis, saved the world from the Japanese and the Soviet Union and the threat of communism, won the Cold War. But modern day conservatives ignore all this and insist we return to a failed isolationism and nationalism. 
 

It’s quite depressing. Everywhere I look, modern day conservatives are attempting to destroy everything that makes this country great. Traditional conservatives never would have stood for it. Ronald Reagan’s legacy is being spat upon.

Coming from a guy who voted for segregation numerous times in the past, authored the crime bill that incarcerated blacks in record numbers, and even gave eulogies at Klansmen’s funerals...it rang a bit hollow.

Biden voted for segregation? That is a bit misleading - Biden was against busing ordered by the Department of Education, but he never ever opposed voluntary busing.

And the only "Klansman's" funeral he gave a eulogy for was Robert Byrd, who left the Klan 40 some years before and had renounced it. And I am sure you are aware that the NAACP issued a statement mourning Byrd's death after his passing:
