Story is that Heyman has re-upped with WWE.

Also, it's worth noting that Reigns could end up with the belt very soon. My guess - and I emphasize GUESS here - is that the best place for Reigns to go over would be in Saudi Arabia where there are no smarts to boo the man out of the building. The people going there will be glad to see some semblance of American culture and cheer for it regardless. Reigns gets the belt, crowd cheers, confetti falls, VKM's boner goes away.

And Steph out to start Raw.

At least she's selling the armbar
I'm not following what RR is doing with her ring personality.  She always comes down the ramp beaming, like she can't believe  she's there.  Stands in the ring, quickly flips a 180 on Stephanie and gives her the arm bar.  Ok, I'm with it up to that point.  She's a bad ###.  But then as quickly as she went bad ### she's 180 back to "so happy, just can't believe I'm actually here!" mode and it doesn't resonate with me.  Why isn't she stalking back out of the ring after the confrontation, maintaining the intensity?  Is she supposed to be bi-polar or something?  I dunno.  Probably nitpicking but when I watch it just stands out that her demeanor isn't matching the story.

Having him come out and sing and then get beat down is getting old fast. Let the guy wrestle and at least show his stuff vs being a punching bag.

Joe coming out and talking smack to Reigns made zero sense because they have yet to finalize the Brock/Reigns storyline. Even if this is the plan going forward after Saudi Arabia, people will still like Joe over Reigns and Roman will find himself in the same position as he is in now. The crowd will never embrace him as the victim or the underdog so to keep trying with this narrative makes zero sense.
They have him come out and sing because he's still pretty limited in the ring.  He's shown off his stuff, and there ain't much there in ring.  I think they're just buying time, hoping his ring work catches up to his promo work.  To be fair, up until last night he had not been a punching bag in the ring.  That was all about re-introducing Lashlyy and they had Elias do the honors.

Joe had been feuding with Roman prior to his injury, right?  I thought he was just picking up where he left off so it made complete sense to me.

What are they doing with KO and Zayne?  That match gathered steam and the crowd got into it and they promptly killed it.  A double count out when both guys are in the ring?

Kurt talking about one open roster spot and the winner can have it.  Then they say next week they're swapping things up between RAW and SD anyway.  Does anyone believe these guys (at least KO) won't end up on one of the shows?   :loco:
KO/Zayne last night was significantly better than Styles/Nakamura the night before, right up to the point they abruptly killed the match.  Clearly neither of them are leaving WWE.

I just want to see if Nakamura as a heel is going to get him going, because up to now I think he's been a bit overrated as far as his WWE work.  Never saw him in NJPW so I don't know if his work dropped off from there?  Is that true?

Nakamura's work has significantly dropped from there. His match with AJ at Wrestle Kingdom right before both of them came to WWE was a classic.

His heel persona was great as leader of Chaos in NJPW. If he starts channeling that I expect his brutality to pick up.

Brian Pillman’s Son is now wrestling. Shane Douglas spoke to him at WrestleCon and Pillman will be having knee surgery soon. He’s on Twitter as @FlyinBrianJr - his header photo is him as a baby with his dad and Owen Hart.

ETA: Shane talks about Brian Jr.

Rusev vs. Undertaker in a Casket Match at SaudiMania(tm).

One, does we they Undertaker really need this match? Two, this card is going to take as long at WM.

2nd Bruce prichard podcast coming to WWE Network. Fully planned to cancel end of month (finally) but will likely keep around as long as it's not some WWE ### kissing podcast with Conrad.

I actually think Rousey has been the best character on the show, pretty much since she showed up. Monday Night read like bemusement to me, like she couldn't believe Stephanie was trying to spin what actually happened. She's basically toying with her the whole time, and when she's finally had enough she armbars her again. Then smiles and leaves. Why should she stalk out of the ring or maintain intensity, she's proven she's better twice(3 times technically if you wanna count Mania 31.) Going back to smiling, in my opinion, sent the crowd the message of, "can you believe how stupid Stephanie is thinking I'd just pal around with her now? What was she expecting?" If anything, its the opposite of bi-polar, its consistency.

I'm excited to have tickets for Saturday night's RoH card in Pittsburgh. They have a decent card lined up - apparently it's a TV taping, so I'll be spoiled for about 4 weeks of TV.

The meet and greet includes Marty Scurll, who I've been totally marking out for lately.  Sadly, the M&G does not include Brandi Rhodes. :kicksrock:

Tenille Dashwood is no chopped liver!

Been piecing together a Mania viewing the past few nights. I cannot believe how good Rousey looked. Lots of credit to HHH for making her look great. Did anyone else notice how many mat burns she had (her face was one big red mark after the DDT). She doesn't know how to hit the bumps properly yet, but she showed a natural sense for selling. Good times.

Charlotte vs Asuka seemed oddly placed by going on second. I still think they should have gone last...it keeps the narrative that Royal Rumble winners get the main event, and it caps off the year of the woman.

Only matches I would watch a replay of from Mania are the IC title, Charlotte/Asuka, and Ronda. And RR vs Brock just so I could show people what s### wrestling looks like.

I think it deserved to go on last and said so well in advance, but it may have ultimately benefited from its spot on the card.  Going on at the end of a 7+ hour card right after Braun & kid won the tag belts would have done that match no favors.

And no more Taker-Rusev.  It will be Taker-Jericho instead.

I went to see RoH in Pittsburgh last night. It was a TV taping so I was there almost 5 hours.

Lots of great matches and the crowd was hot. Lots of chants; one of them was BRANDI’S ### CHEEKS!! :lmao:  At the end Bullet Club did an encore for everyone and brought the house down.

And:

Bully Ray was fired as RoH enforcer and then declared himself UNRETIRED!

Cena finally got rid of Nikki

Now let's see her push when/if she returns to WWE...  :lmao:  . I've never seen 2 performers get zero reaction of their own for over a decade and remain prominent figures on TV like the Bellas. Only time the small ### Bella got a reaction was mimicking Daniel Bryan's Yes Chant.

After she won the first argument, he assumed that he would win the next 230 arguments in a row.

Can't wait for Cena to return to TV :lmao:

And Elias is $$.  Get a bad feeling he's heading to Smackdown. Then again, it beats getting jobbed out by the roided black guy they just brought back.

Jeff Hardy is your new US champion!
Hardy joins Kurt Angle, Big Show, Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero as the only guys to win the WWE Grand Slam under both formats (pre and post 2015). Hardy and Jericho are the only two guys who have won 8 different WWE championships. Both need the Universal and Smackdown Tag Team championship to run the full gambit of WWE gold.

So all the ####ty smackdown wrestlers moved to raw and raw lost Miz and god knows who else? Ugh
So far: Samoa Joe, Big Cass, Absolution, and Jeff Hardy. Sanity and IIconics from NXT.

I may watch SD again. I won't really miss anyone SD lost to Raw outside of Owens/Zayn, and I didn't care for how they were used in SD anyway.

Edit: AND ASUKA!!!

Edit of the edit: And the Good Brothers. Balor next?

Dear lord, SD is loaded now. Andrade and The Bar since the last post, along with the Good Brothers and R-Troof.

SD is back to being must-watch for me. What an absolutely kick-### roster they have now with very little crud.

The worst crud is the writing team though.
