Vince is this you? The minute Strowman arrived we knew he would only be built up so Superman can finally overcome all the odds and bury the monster!I'm going to throw out the wild card for the Cena match to be ...... Braun Strowman.
As much as we want Daniel Bryan, or expect Tyler Breeze, you can't get past the fact that it needs to be a heel that puts Cena on the shelf for a few months. Breeze isn't that guy. But Strowman can be that guy. Pulls a Lesnar and just power moves the crap out of Cena. Cena mounts his Superman comeback and is blindsided Harper and Rowan, but out of view from the ref. Strowman gets the pin and the title, and the beatdown continues. Depending on the spot on the card, maybe Wyatt comes down and does a final Sister Abigail on Cena leaving him carted out on a stretcher. The beatdown needs to push the PG limits.
This does many things. Puts Cena out of commission. Gives Strowman a rub. Make it the protected property of the Wyatt Family. Strowman defends the US Title with the entire family ringside and just rolls the competition with help. I would also put the Tag Belts on Harper and Rowan, but that is another story.
Let Strowman carry the belt all the way until Cena returns. Huge pop for Cena's return and then it gets an easy PPV or two pre Wrestlemania with the Wyatt Family.
Just follow the exact script we used with Wyatt, Rusev, and KO.
I'll agree that Strowman by himself doesn't make sense. But you put the belt basically on the entire Wyatt family, then you have something.Strowman with any kind of belt seems like an awful idea. Yeah, he's big and scary looking. So what? His finishing move is to pick someone up and hug them to death. We don't need a singles match of that at every PPV.

I just don't see anyone on the current roster, that is not in a match, that could put Cena away for the time he wants off.
Theres always the Big Show or Mark Henry! Who doesn't want to see them every week?? :XVince is this you? That kinda seems like what they're leading up toJB Breakfast Club said:Replace Wyatt Family with New Day in the above scenario, and you have something interesting. Big E takes the title....Cena goes for the handshake of respect and gets a beat down instead...New Day gets heat by injuring Cena...they can drop the tag belts if WWE wants to give the Dudleys a 10th run.
Nice call!WeI could dream and hope Cena's challenger is the returning Alberto Del Rio.
He's definitely more prepared than that last pushAwesome match.
Can't imagine there is anybody left that doesn't think Reigns is ready. He and Wyatt are both capable of being top dog.
It wouldn't be a shame if it were a retirement match. Kane is 867966 years past his prime and completely uninteresting to me. And why have a Hell in a Cell PPV if it's just gonna hang above the ring??What a shame they're wasting Rollins in this crap.
I dont mind him running around terrorizing people, but you're right... hes awful in real matches these daysIt wouldn't be a shame if it were a retirement match. What a waste of one of your bestWhat a shame they're wasting Rollins in this crap.
Setting up Survivor Series. 4 Wyatts vs Taker, probably Kane and 2 others.Great matches all night. Stupid ending.
Setting up for a Survivor Series match. Keeps Wyatt fearsome after his loss. I like it.Great matches all night. Stupid ending.
The Wyatts are heels who needed heat. They got it. LOVED the ending.Great matches all night. Stupid ending.
I really hope this happens. Zeb and ADR are an odd pairing IMO. I don't see itI wonder where they're going with Alberto Del Rio? Face or Heel? Zeb mentioned bringing people together, but it would be easy to make him an America hating heel who accuses us of being racist pigs who follow Trump and really want his people kept out behind a big wall. He could even tip Zeb off his scooter tonight on RAW.
Maybe Zeb turns his back on the country. I'm really hoping to see ADR vs Cesaro soon.I wonder where they're going with Alberto Del Rio? Face or Heel? What?As great and historic and magical as Steve Austin's run in the WWE was, I'd wipe it all from existence if it meant I'd never have to hear that "What!?" chant again. It's worse than the wave.
I think the "This is awesome " chants have been played out as well.As great and historic and magical as Steve Austin's run in the WWE was, I'd wipe it all from existence if it meant I'd never have to hear that "What!?" chant again. It's worse than the wave.
I don't mind that as long as it's deserved. Sometimes in NXT they do it like a minute into the match, which is kind of silly.I think the "This is awesome " chants have been played out as well.As great and historic and magical as Steve Austin's run in the WWE was, I'd wipe it all from existence if it meant I'd never have to hear that "What!?" chant again. I think he's still disliked by the "cool kids" (20-something males in cities like Chicago and Philly). Once you get in their dog house it's hard to get out. But yeah, he seems to be getting more popular. I assume he'll get his title shot at Survivor Series, and I'm looking forward to it.Can we officially say that Reigns is over?? The crowd last night was light years away from the crapfest that was the Royal Rumble this year.
"This is awesome" should be reserved for matches after a series of great moves/spots.I don't mind that as long as it's deserved. The "what" chants disrupt the flow of the promos, IMO. I get that it's fun to be part of the show when you attend a live event, but I wish people would keep in mind that people at home are watching too and their heckling is making it less enjoyable. Bray Wyatt had a pretty important promo after their actions at HIAC and I found those chants really distracting.
Don't even get me started on "We are awesome".I think the "This is awesome " chants have been played out as well.As great and historic and magical as Steve Austin's run in the WWE was, I'd wipe it all from existence if it meant I'd never have to hear that "What!?" chant again. I just can't get behind the superman punch, it's just an absurd move, in my opinion. His spears have seemed to be getting progressively better but still aren't great. Other than that, I have been open minded to liking him.Jeremy said:I think he's still disliked by the "cool kids" (20-something males in cities like Chicago and Philly).
