I'm ok with it if they are all heel. However I was never a huge Shield Guy. They are that desperate to get Roman over they reformed The Shield again. And like Kool aid drinking dumbasses the fans ate it tonight.

Listen man, you've come to the wrong corner if you want me to join an anti-Roman parade. He put in a great TV match with Finn. It was really really good and I'm going to enjoy his defenses.
This could be great for wrestling. I responded with actual emotion for the first time in a long while over the TV product. I want them to let us pick sides instead of telling us who to cheer for, and this could be a step in that direction.

I"m a cynic and as jaded as anyone, but even I popped for that ending last night and I don't really love any of the principals.
But that ending put a lot of balls in the air and there was some stakes to the action. And it left me as a fan with a feeling I haven't had in a LONG time

Why did WWE ruin Asuka? She has the winning streak, wins the Royal Rumble, loses in Wrestlemania and then everything after that has been a downfall. Losing to Carmella, not even appearing in Summer Slam. Last night at Smackdown she was the dark match before the event vs Mandy Rose. It was great seeing her. I dont get it.

The dirt sheets (well, Dave Meltzer) recently reported that they anticipate the WWE turning Asuka heel.
Just me speculating here in conjunction with Meltzer's heel turn speculation -- Asuka's recent losing streak and drop down the card may be part of the classic heel turn storyline where the face grows frustrated with their place in the company and among the fans.

They are basically telling you who to root for. I knew people at the show and seen video from fans. People when The Sheild came out there were a lot more boos and WWE Vince and Russo muted boos when he came out to begin the show as well. There were also "We want Lesnar" chants throughout the arena muted. Yes Roman put in a good match but Finn basically carried the match. The Shield is involved to protect Roman from being booed. Look you can be suckered into this all you want or not. I'm not gonna tell you who too root for and unlike a lot of People your response to why you liked the end was a lot better then a lot of Roman Fans. WWE also was quick to go off air both nights. Why because the crowd was not happy and booing. Also WWE gave it away as the new Shield Tees were on WWE Shop before 11PM Monday night.
I was never a huge Shield fan. They were ok but they really didn't do much with them. Then when the Reports came out and people said it was Punk's idea and Vince and WWE corporate forced Reigns into the group Punk really wanted nothing to do with it. Punk was suppose to lead a stable of Dean/Seth/Chris Hero AKA Kassius Ohno. They debuted like they did yes helping Punk but the major storyline was suppose to be that Punk and the group was taking over WWE. That really irked me that WWE decided to go elsewhere with it. I was a big Punk fan and everything he said in those pipe bomb promos still rings true today. I'm glad he walked out. He's right Vince is a millionaire who should be a billionaire but he surrounds himself with Company Yes Men. I'm hoping to god both Seth and Dean turn on Roman. Why Roman has another title when Balor hasn't gotten his DESERVED REIGN yet and relinquished the belt solely do to an injury from coincidently Shield Member Seth Rollins (Who I like) is beyond me at this point. Roman is being pushed harder then Hogan or Cena ever was. Meanwhile WWE continues to ignore what the fans want.

I'll tell you whats gonna happen. THey'll feed another person to Reigns with an "Open Challenge" and create that Reigns is a fighting Champion. WWE intentionally or not kept Brock off TV to have fans hate him more to get Roman over. They want the crowd to like Roman for being "A Fighting Champ" Braun will come out during the match so people stay for the main event but the Dean and Seth will protect Roman again. Maybe Balor comes out to help Braun or something but the show ends with another Shield Triple power bomb and their dumb thing in the ring to end the show.

I have yes to them thats what matters. Also the fact they have no competition wrestling wise since Vince bought out all the territories. You think the trash they have on TV storyline wise would be there if there was competition? WCW and ECW made Vince and WWF go into the Attitude Era. I'm not someone who lives through oh they should bring back the whole attitude era or whatever. I want a mixer of Storyline telling and skits from the Era as well as Ruthless aggression and promos like Heyman got out of guys in ECW but with today's wrestling and talent. Imagine just how great that sort of TV is. I'm not saying go over the Edge here but be more creative and use more things like the Styles/Joe type storyline.
Yeah WWE doesn't care about the TV ratings that were the lowest post Summerslam Raw in ages. This post RAW SS was worse then Last years and year before ratings wise. Next year I wouldn't be surprised if it's 2.9 or so. Each year WWE loses about 400K fans. Arguing the stock though to someone is like trying to sell someone on a terrible made product on a company who has huge stock numbers. I don't care about the Stocks if the product isn't worth it.

Competition causes companies to up their game. WCW made Vince adapt and change. Vince has been coasting for nearly 20 years because NJPW, RoH, TNA, etc. haven't been able to make a dent in him, and probably never will. Absent a change of heart from wrestlers that want a career instead of mountains of cash (not that I blame them), it will continue to be so.

Not mad at them accepting the cash. More mad for them for doing what Omega said he hates seeing in the profession and that's complacency because they are in a big company making the big bucks. During his Jericho Podcast interview I want to say around last year he talked about being signed in WWE and when he was there how complacent some of the talent was. Compared it to the guy who works at a Fortune 500 company who is great at his job and could be a top hand to the CEO or something but is complacent doing desk work all day do to the money he has already. It's still a good gig but he could do so much better and instead of striving for it he accepts his place in his career as is. It's why I like guys like Cody, Kenny and Punk who speak out against that. Drew Galloway is kind of the same way with it. Too many guys reach WWE and are ok where they are but could be much better. Ziggler especially. Also theres a lot of people in Roman Reigns family who aren't happy with how his character is written and disappointed Roman doesn't question Vince. Matt his brother specifically told a story a year before he died about how he talked to Roman about asking Vince to go Heel as it'd be better for him. Roman kind of turned it down. Roman is making big bucks in WWE and is ok where he's at (He's complacent) and won't go to Vince and say hey this isn't working could we change it up a bit maybe not turn me full heel but go maybe tweaner and see where it goes. If it doesn't work maybe a full heel run. I have a few ideas I'd like you to look over and comeback to me on them if you like them or maybe have a different idea for those characters. Nope not doing it. I don't blame guys for going to WWE but I think you'll start to see guys who are really good stay in the Indies do to the money they can make now. Plus they get to keep all revenue earnings from march sales and work when and where they want. Today's Indie wrestler isn't the same money wise compared to when Punk and Bryan Danielson were in the Indies. You can make almost as much in Indies if you are a Cody or Kenny then going to WWE. Jericho could live off the Indies the rest of his wrestling career and still make what he did or close to it in WWE and work only the dates he wants instead of working 300 or so days a year WWE wants. Now the lesser guys wouldn't make bank but a guy like Pentagon and Fenix could do the whole Indies thing.

The Bucks are constantly on the move, as are the Rhodes. However, you get pictures of them at home a lot. Cody's now a big fan of the Green Egg Grill. You also have to figure that when Cody's dog Pharaoh gets his own M&G at Starrcast, you know he's over with the fans.
And the travel is better; if you've ever seen Cody or Brandi's IG feed, they fly Delta ultra swanky class to Japan. How much NJPW pays vs. what the Rhodes pay to upgrade is anyone's guess; the upshot is they're flying better than WWE Airlines in cattle coach. Plus, NJPW does dates outside of Japan in places like Australia and Singapore vs. WWE going to Saudi Arabia and other holes.

I'm a fan of Reigns and the Shield. Seeing them back together on Monday was great! Not to mention RR and Finn had a great match, they carried each other equally.
Still trying to figure out how they filter the boos yet keep the cheers. Maybe DJackson can 'splain that one to me....... lol

While I bust on JB for his man crush on RR, I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s probably not a bad guy in real life. My issue is with his character and how it’s booked.
I’m 6’2” and 270 pounds. Someone once said I was sneaking in somewhere. I told them that at my size, I’m incapable of sneaking anywhere.
Similarly, there are very few scenarios where I would be an underdog in a physical altercation - unless that opponent is Andre. I can’t buy into a “rivalry” as Cole calls it <_< where RR - similar in size to me - is fighting from underneath. It doesn’t pass the smell test with me, and probably a lot of fans.
If he were a smaller, more technical wrestler like Bret Hart, then I’ll buy in. When those in the feud are roughly the same size, there’s no such thing as an underdog.

I actually know one of his cousins. We became good friends listening/watching a wrestling podcast from the same guy. This guy is more closely related to the USO's then Roman but said he's a really nice guy. Actually pretty comical where in WWE and with fans he's more of a non talkative shy guy. People in his family along with many "Roman haters" don't hate the person Roman is but the character and direction. For similar reasons you stated.

Fairly easy. My co worker works WWE production when they come to Philly. Vince years ago when they ran shows out of the convention center saw him video taping matches and asked for some of his work. Asked if he wanted to join full time and my co worker turned him down. At the time he had a young family and the travel was too much plus the pay wasn't worth it so Vince asked if WWE did shows in Philly and if he needed help with vacations/time off/weddings/sick days/etc from Video crew and production if he'd be interested. He told him yes. He now does the Raw and Smackdowns and occasional PPV when in Philly and they asked him to come up for RAW 25 but the drive plus his full time job just would be too taxing.
Anyway WWE just like any production that airs a live shows have live Mics in the arena. They have the ability to mute them, lower or jack up their volume. years ago WWE would tape one of 2 RAWs. WWE can then go back and doctor footage to their likening. Maybe turn crowd level down so you can hear the commentary better. Different arenas react to noise differently. WWE use to have a problem with John Cena being booed. When he first came up people liked him but the loudest boos I ever witnessed was ECW ONS the WWE title on the line vs RVD. People were flipping Cena off and even dropping F bombs and throwing stuff in the ring. WWE had to go back for the DVD release and edit the volume just so people could hear Joey Styles and Taz on commentary. Years later WWE began to go back after shows and muting crowds in post production, producing in cheers or lowering volume on boos for Cena. Fans complained but it was nothing to the extent they go for Roman Reigns.
Here's a doctored footage of a Payback PPV where WWE alter a negative sign towards Roman WWE post production edits anti Roman sign at Payback PPV. March 26 2016 Reigns HHH promo at a smackdown live taping. Former MMA fighter Josh Barnett says WWE edited out a substainaly amount of Boos during a Reign's promo the booing was so bad apparently there according to live updates received at the event from people in attendance Josh Barnett says WWE edited out Boos from Roman Reigns. Now for live shows this is easy. You mute certain Mics in the arena especially ones where it seems a lot of anti Roman fans are. You can also pipe in crowd noise. Just ask The Saints and Seahawks it's easy to pipe in without people noticing. Again you can't do it when the arena isn't that filled and only in spurts. WWE has also gone back and edited the videos of post RAWs before putting them on the Network for good. WWE has also gone as far to alter images like I said of certain things they don't like. Recently there were reports that fans were being offered money to trash anti roman signs and given pro roman signs or shirts. WWE has also put in "Plant fans" at shows to cheer Roman. Those are easy to spot do to where they are positioned in the crowd. Usually close to the hard cam, up closer to the first few rows near rings side or close to where an camera can easily get them. Fans who were there who went back and rewatched the PPV said they noticed WWE had messed with audio as well and the boos were much louder. Like I posted a few days ago I knew people who attended the show last Monday Night. The boos were pretty loud and there was a pretty big We want Lesnar Chant after The Shield attacked Roman completely never picked up by the mics.
A lot of this is easy to do if you are that tech savvy. Its not rocket science. WWE is also on a 5-10 sec delay from live when airing btw. Thats enough time to edit sound and its no different then a TV live show that censors someone using foul language or making a bad gesture. Its the same tools. Even though it says something is live it's delayed to your TV by a good 5-10 seconds maybe more.

Neville has apparently been finally released from his WWE contract. Ryan Satin started reporting it on Friday. right now reports saying that Neville doesn't have a no compete clause so we could see him at All In.

I don't know why every Roman fan says this. Get better material because all you are doing is copying off the Nickelback fans of Everyone hates them because its the cool thing to do. No everyone hates them because they suck and their lead singer is a complete D-bag. Their songs are repetitive and all sound the same. The other guys in the band are cool but he acts like he's Dio.
Fans boo Roman because he didn't get on top the natural way. He's been pushed down our throats. Why? all because he's a Samoan and related to Rock/Snuka/Usos/Rikishi etc daily. Roman I will say isn't a terrible wrestler but he's in the same category as Hogan without the mic skills. Same moves every time in the ring and his character is boring and unbelievable. I believe @Tom Servo was the one who brought up how he was just a tad smaller then Roman and it's not belieable for him to be an underdog against a guy like Brock. I've met Brock and seen Roman in person (Haven't met him but heard he's a pretty cool dude out of character and himself) and Roman and Brock are similar size. The only difference is Brock legit could kill someone. His mic skills aren't great either. WWE allows certain guys to curse and all. Brock is one of them, Most of the McMahons, Orton, Cena, Rock, y2J when he's around. Then they let Roman do it and it comes off as very scripted and forced to try to make him more likable. people see right through that. WWE marks think anyone could last in the Indies but there's a difference. AJ Styles brought this up against his feud with Cena and it's accurate. Guys like AJ, Seth, Bryan, etc could go back to the Indies where Roman and Cena if they were to leave WWE wouldn't be going anywhere else. Why? Their in ring ability. Now I'll give Cena props for adapting over the years but it's just not good enough for him to last in the Indies and at his age not sure he could he learn enough of it to begin competent. Roman is like Brock/Goldberg same 5-8 moves gives us a yell that sounds like he's orgasming superman punch, spear 1,2,3. Boring. On top of that many would like Roman as a heel similar for yrs how when John Cena was a heel fans actually liked him. Cena still wasn't the greatest in ring but as a heel he was GOSH ENTERTAINING. ROMAN IS NOT ENTERTAINING WITH HIS CURRENt CHARACTER and thats what Roman fans fail to see from people who I wouldn't say are Roman haters.
Lets get this straight many of us don't hate Roman THE PERSON we hate ROMAN THE CHARACTER HE PORTRAYS ON TV and would like it changed up. I honestly wouldn't mind the Shield thing if they were heels and Roman was like non of you supported me before winning and now all of sudden you want to now? The promo Becky Lynch had last Tuesday should've been Roman's and Charlotte should've been the heel in the Lynch/Charlotte feud. What we hate with WWE doing with Roman is no different then Sports fans hating how the media and certain commentators and Leagues try to shove certain athletes down our throats. The only difference is you really can't change how some of these athletes are but you can change Roman's TV character.

Another thing is that the stereotypical "big man" has evolved outside of WWE. If you watch Lucha Underground (as an example), you'll see bigger guys than RR like the Mack doing flips and suicide dives and such. While I'm not asking big guys to be Jeff Hardy, it's nice to see big guys that can do something another than slobber knocker each other.
I do DDP Yoga and at my size, I can bend over and put my fingers on the floor - something people old enough to be my kids tell me they can't do. Now, I'm not hardcore about my workouts, but given the workouts that I see people like Tessa Blanchard do, there's no reason that RR couldn't be made into something better than a 'rasslin' version of Mike Tyson. I'd even say keep him as face but give him a more athletic move set, and you might change a few opinions.
Mind you, you'll never change the "hate 'em because it's cool" guy, but make him look more athletic and you might have something there. Oh, that and put a shock collar on Cole that zaps him at 10,000 volts every time he wants to scream "THE BIG DOG!!!!1111!!!!JUAN!!"
