I was at work recently found out one of my customers want to say mid 30s watches wrestling into WWE but also the Indies. Told him today I hadn't watch Raw/SDL in 2 weeks and he said neither has he. Just the other day he said he was gonna consider getting NJPWORLD with The G1 and Itami AKA Kenta and Moxley in it. Gonna be interesting when AEW comes how many fans that can now get easy access to that and don't want to spend the money for NJPW or can't find ROH on TV will jump ship to AEW for the first few weeks at the least. WWE could be in some big trouble come Oct-Dec. The problem right now is some people just watch just because its how they get their fix and don't have easy access or know about other promotions nor want to spend time or money finding it. Once they see AEW on TNT that could change. 

 
All from brad Sheppard The 2 to last paragraph has gotten brad some heat regarding the relationships for whatever reason. Brad's sources can be trusted as I've heard similar from people in the last few days. 

According to a source in #WWE, Stomping Grounds is the lowest sale for any “special event” since Starrcade on November 25th, 2018.

The source further elaborated that there has been a total lack of planning behind the scenes going into Stomping Grounds, even noting employers were getting yelled at. They asked if I knew how bad you would have to “#### up” for PPV ticket sales to be this low. #WWE I asked the same source what the company felt was the cause for low ticket sales for #WWEStomping Grounds, and was told they believe it’s due to a lack of proper build because of Super ShowDown and fans saving to make the trip to Canada for SummerSlam and #NXTTakeover.

The source noted that producers/agents wanted this weekend to provide a clean slate. I’m told there has been a lot of AEW chatter since Double or Nothing among the Superstars. #WWEA source in #WWE described R-Truth to me as their biggest draw on all platforms, also noting he is singlehandedly carrying social media right now. #WWE #RAW #SDLive

The source said #WWE CEO Vince McMahon knows it’s a writing issue, and noted how they had little to no long term plan for anyone besides Becky Lynch post-WrestleMania. The source noted Roman and Drew are very interested in putting on a memorable feud but everyone else seems to be lacking in the morale department right now. They said Becky Lynch/Seth Rollins and Charlotte/Andrade are too invested in their relationships right now to care. #WWE The source continued, calling everything a mess at the moment. They said the women’s tag team titles might as well be defunct because they’re hardly ever brought up in meetings, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan are pissed because they’ve been in a standstill...cont. ... Samoa Joe is allegedly just along for the ride, and Bayley and The Revival are still being crybabies even with the straps. They described it as utter chaos. #WWE #RAW #SDLive

Kind of halfway watching stomping grounds. Decent matches so far. The Owens/zayn-New Day match was really good as was the Joe- Ricochet match. Becky-lacey was just ok. Guessing the Lacey experiment is over for now.

I was also told that the outcome of Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns was changed this morning. Drew was apparently going to pin Roman after a distraction from Shane and a Claymore Kick, but Vince changed it to Roman going over. #WWEStompingGrounds

I’ve confirmed a @ringsidenews_ report that a WWE employee’s social media was taken down because they were posting spoilers to the Tribute to the Troops show. I’m told the employee was written up without warning and #WWE came up with new social media rules for regular employees.

According to a source in the company, #WWE is looking to “get a spark” from the special referee spot at #WWEStompingGrounds and as of last week considered using a female talent for it (one name floated was Charlotte). I’m not sure what the final decision was/is.

Honestly most of this PPV was good to very good.

I see money in Corbin, but this last year+ has been so bad. Even if I like him, I recognize most everyone else hates him and he needs serious time away from the top of the card.

I agree. The Owens tag match was good, Kofi was good, ricochet was really good and the bayley match was above average. I even liked the Roman match.

Corbin isn't a main event guy. He's a mid carder right now. Even Jericho said he likes the guys work rate and other stuff but when you are getting get out of the ####### ring heat we don't want to see you thats not good. VKM pushed him because of him being a big guy.. 

 
The only reason Lacey is getting a push is she's a blonde with a nice ### and a hardcore right wing military brat. There's really nothing great about Lacey in the ring. She's still fairly raw and really needs more work. She really shouldn't be in the Main Event yet at all.

Most people thought Dolph was gone after the Saudi Show. I'll give more details once I listen to the review. His sources are fairly legit. One of them was the one who got me the Naomi/Jimmy USO stuff and told me it was gonna be turned into a storyline their relationship issues. The host wrestled in NE area in fact was trained by Rowe of War Machine and was in the same class as Sasha Banks. Wrestled with Kofi in a tag match 6 months before WWE Raw debut.

I think John Cena passed the Company Kiss ### torch down to Seth Rollins. I like Seth but the dude has gone over the edge now talking how great the WWE is. Trying way too hard

Ziggler is advertised for multiple events past august including Worchester MA. Theres no word on if he has a new deal or not or anything like that though. During this review and this segment Youtube #### itself and lost most of what was said after. I usually contact the host and he's good with responding back. I'll see if I can clear this up. Basically many people thought Dolph at Saudi was a 1 off thing and apparently it's not

This. I think I'm done with WWE for awhile. I just can't take anymore of them forcing people down our throats. So much talent being neglected yet we STILL are trying to get Roman over. 

AEW can't get on TV quick enough.

He tweeted that WWE has the best wrestling in the world. Osprey, Jericho, and Toma Tonga from NJPW all clapped back at him. Rollins told Osprey that they had a better version of him in Riccochet.  Osprey chirped about he's worked more matches and then Rollins came back with the "I was out with a back injury plus let's compare wallets" cards...really weak sauce.

Allan Cheapshot is merely reminding Rollins he was jobbing at FCW to subpar talents while Osprey was winning Super Juniors. Not a good look for Rollins.

Heel/Face Seth doesn't matter. Guy is just nauseating to try to listen to cut a promo. Like trying to push John Morrison of a decade ago as a main eventer. If you can't cut a good promo consistently, people are never going to get invested in you.

47 year old R-Truth is far and away the most popular thing in WWE right now. And the numbers will show it's not even remotely close.

I team Truth and Rollins up in the main event. Post match, Truth believes Seth's belt is 24/7 also and pins Seth and walks out with Universal title.

Truth and Bray are the only things in WWE even worth watching CLIPS of for me right now.

I watched Sunday's PPV out of some sense of morbid curiosity, but I haven't watched the weekly stuff since, geez, April? Maybe May.

 
I watched the first 80 minutes last night before I tapped out. The R-Truth promo with Drake, the crowd was chanting "Constipation". Seriously. How sad is it that the small crowd you do attract (apparently under 3,500 last night) needs to entertain themselves with chants like that because your product isn't evoking any emotion or reaction at all?

He's defending the company he works for so a bunch of guys from NJPW and AEW stepped in and said not so fast about the best talent. I get it in a way. His company is getting #### on, dirt sheets are coming out with numerous horror stories about the company inside workings and his best friend who just left the company is on podcast saying how said dirt sheets were right in their complaints. However he's gone about it the wrong way and become incredible condescending. Wade Keller said as much

"This isn't a good tone at all if he wants to get people who love good wrestling regardless of brand to feel goodwill toward WWE's strengths and its vocal leader. "Buddy"? "Little guy"? Disappointing and character defining condescension. This is heel Corbin promo content. :-/"

And now Seth is taking Shots at Moxley saying he quit and took his ball and went home. JFC Vince must be ecstatic with Seth. I wonder how much Seth Sold out for. Extreme Rules is in my city next month. Seeing if my guy can get me ring seats so I can personally ask Seth how much he sold out for.

I liked Morrison but Seth's voice is so whiny and annoying. JFC its bad. So nasally and all. You don't need to cut a good promo in wrestling. Some guys suck at promos but at great wrestlers. The problem is for those who solely watch WWE yeah Promo is more important then actual skill. I'll take the wresting and an OK promo over a great promo and mediocre wrestling skill person any day. 

 
Now Baron Corbin is crying for attention because he wasn't involved Baron could learn a few wrestling moves from Will maybe he won't be as much Boring Corbin as before

See, I'm the other way. I want great guys on the stick.  I will direct you to Matt Taven's latest promo he cut on Jeff Cobb for RoH's Best in the World PPV this Friday.  He comes in, sits down on a folding chair and proceeds to compare Cobb's accomplishments with his - of which there's no contest as he's an ROH Grand Slam Champion.  Lastly, he tells the melvins to enjoy the show.

The guys I've loved the best like Flair were excellent at cutting promos.

Shane does not make any backstage creative decisions. He is talent only.

Granted, he could bow out gracefully.
