Rumor out there is that Shane-o-mac is OUT, LET GO, TERMINATED OR INVOLUNTARILY SEPARATED from WWE.
It’s official: Brian Kendrick is nuttier than a fruitcake.
Wait, are we supposed to believe now that a wrestler beating Shane bleeping McMahon now is giving them a rub? I mean, props to Shane for putting his body at risk like he does, but he's basically a glorified spot monkey.
When TK makes an announcement like this, it's going to be somebody big. Nobody's getting jacked up to see Dain, Breeze, or Smith, and they don't fit the hype being given.Released Nov and can FA
Keith Lee/Mia Yim (I'd presume they are a package deal at this point)
Kross
Harry Smith (Form Killer Elite again with Archer eventually big Hart Tournament guy too
Ember Moon
Note: Teagen Nox, Morrison Isiah Swerve and Drake Maverick were all released 18th of NOV so contracts not up for 2 more weeks. Jeff Hardy was released in Early Dec so he has another month left
Still Not signed and was released
Bray Wyatt
Killian Dain
Tyler Breeze
Braun Strauman

Juice Robinson is a possibility as his NJPW contract is up, but he's been working Impact so I'd be hard pressed to see a situation that makes him move. If I was to pick from this list, it's Wyatt, Stroman, or Lee. Nobody else is moving the needle.

Maybe he can use some of that dough to pay the promoters he owes.
Sounds like a lot of indy wrestlers. Do you know how many times I hear from people so and so who works for this company owes me money for an event we booked. Half the time its because they booked someone who was known to not be reliable and paid them partial or half in advance. So thats on them.
Either way I don't know what was agreed here or other promotions. I've heard of deals where we'll agree to a percentage of the booking or your fee up front and if you do wrestle you get the other half but the wrestler keeps the half already given to them if they cancel last minute or something. But that seems more of a thing the bigger indy companies do who can afford that. I don't know what was personally agreed to here but either way that sounds more like a them problem for booking a guy who's been unreliable in the past.
I'm hearing HHH. Never happen thoughDJackson10 said:So TK Made an annoucement that there will be a new Debut on Dynamite this Wednesday walking in through ""The Forbidden Door." Right now most think it might be a former WWE talent but I think it could be someone from a partner promotions. Lets just assume it's a former Released WWE talent.

As for other promotions I could see a NJPW person come to AEW who can't get over to Japan and in the US right now, Someone from NWA or DDT. A few weeks ago when they teased a new house of black member it was obvious it'd be Brody King. This one is a little tougher

Oh no the beloved death match wrestler who robbed a bank is ####ty?
#### man who CAN we trust?
This sub is amazing
So I'm in AC for Dynamite and Holy S****!!!!!!!!! This place just erupted for Jay White and now Keith lee is here!!!!!!!!!!!! My buddy got last minute tickets and we left around 5;15. Takes about 1hr and 20 mins for us to get there from my house. So we won't be making it home till 1am tonight the earliest. We might go to the casino for an HR but honestly this isn't the boardwalk Empire AC and it's pretty warn down. We're thinking going down to the casino and maybe putting money on the SB for Sunday.
I don't even think either one of these guys is who TK wanted. Fans here are thinking it's whoever Punk takes as his tag Partner and others speculating it's something else.
How long have you been watching wrestling? You can assault your opponent with deadly weapons, conspire/collude with evil partners, deconstruct the area of combat and make it look silly, and commit gross attempted homicide. But don't you dare stay outside of the "ring" more than "10" seconds.
It ain't WWE. It ain't good, either.

I have no idea who is showing up on Dynamite tonight, but I can guarantee that Wrestling Twitter is going to say it sucks and should have been someone else.
I'm just saying countouts have been a thing forever. WWE, AEW, and I believe Impact all have 10 counts. NJPW and RoH have 20 counts. It - in kayfabe - is designed to keep the action in the ring unless it's falls count anywhere. Is it consistently applied? We both know that's not the case. Countouts matter when the promotion wants it to matter.Come on, you know that was just silly.

Looks like I was wrong here. Keith Lee and Jay White scratched enough itches that it's getting pretty positive reviews on WT.
I remembered this in the shower this morning. That was a Texas Death Match. It wasn't so much a countout as being unable to continue. Sometimes, if both wrestlers are down in the ring, the ref will start a 10 count. If neither one gets up, they'd both be counted out.Of course they have. And maybe if both guys weren't draped in bloody masks it wouldn't have seemed so ridiculous. So no dq, but count outs matter? Laughable dumb.
Not like I REALLY care, obviously, but it was the first full AEW match I've watched in a while. Made me roll my eyes is all.

In Wednesday's match, Page did not have to scoot back into the ring. The fact that Archer couldn't get up after the 10 count is what ended the match.

Matt Cardona -- New NWA Champion
Impressive what he's done as the hottest name in the indies. Actual independent contractor.
I watch NWA less than used to (it's taken a dive due to covid/losses in talent resulting from) but Trevor Murdoch as champ was a terrible choice. Guy is just so lifeless...in promos, demeanor, and not memorable in ring. No clue why NWA wasted Aldis's long ### NWA title reign/story to lose to Murdoch. NWA actually headlined a recent PPV with Mike Knox-Trevor Murdoch and was even worse than it sounds
Cardona's schtick is a great follow.Love what Cardona (and also Chelsea Green) are doing right now. It's like they took the early Cody Rhodes blueprint for working the independents and adding to it as a working couple.
Trevor Murdoch was not a great choice. They were hoping to get a Dusty Rhodes type story/character, but Trevor is no Dusty. He's not even a good Murdoch.
I would love to see them give Aldis another year long reign. He is 250 days behind Dan Severn for fifth place on most days as NWA champion. Pass up Severn and you only have Thesz, Flair, Race and Funk Jr. in front of you. Pretty good company.

Kinda shocking, but maybe not. Cody probably looking at Cardona and saying, "Yeah, that was fun."
Probably for the best. He was starting to suck up too much of the air in the room.Cody and Brandi Rhodes leaving AEW
