Lashley /Omos a really tough watch. Lashley tried his best. Not sure the point of the match at all. Omos needs to be in developmental not Mania.

This is incredible. Sami Zayn and Knoxville are awesome. I am CRYING laughing.

One of the best WrestleMania matches of all time.  ALL TIME.

Back to back rough matches. 

Didn't pay attention to TV a lot of it but Knoxville-Zayne went on way too long for a comedy match.

Hopefully up from here. We still got BUTCH 🤣

I actually just realized I'm off this coming Fri and Saturday so I guess I can catch up on a lot then. I have a funeral TUES so I need to watch the ROH show in case anything happens on Dynamite from that fall out. 

 
Really stayed away from most websites on the ROH stuff I think I can watch that now and do the rest later

Edge/AJ with great match after 3 really meh ones. New Day match was pre-empted last night.....they get 2 minute match tonight 🤣. Probably as much as it deserves....no one gives a #### about any of these guys.

 
Good main event. Right guy won. I keep both belts on Roman until next WrestleMania. Then you do Rock v. Roman or Jimmy/Jey v. Roman or Cody v. Roman with the challenger going over to close out a long program. 
 

I let Brock go back to the farm. Call him for any Crown Jewels or maybe a SummerSlam match to put someone over (whose chasing Roman). 
 

it didn’t even dawn on me to have Austin both nights, but of course you would. And that’s the perfect way for him to go out. Horrible stunner aside. 

 
I thought WrestleMania was fantastic both nights. I legitimately think it pays off to not watch their weekly television; the last weekly WWE show I watched was the NXT 2.0 debut, and the last PPV I watched was Royal Rumble.

WWE is made for casual viewing, I am starting to appreciate it again by keeping my distance.

 
Pat selling that Stunner was an all-timer, awesome to watch. I get making fun of Vince, but the guy is in his 70s, and once tore both quads climbing into the ring at Royal Rumble, so we kinda had to know this was a possibility.

I don't know how I feel about the fact that every time Roman wins, you are the first person I think of.

This is an excellent point. I had fun both nights, and I haven't watched RAW or Smackdown in months. I still listen to a few podcasts, and I follow wrestling Twitter, so I know what's going on, but just going into WM "cold" made it all the better. I wasn't sick of seeing anyone.

 
Reigns Lesnar was a big disappointment.  Just vanilla finisher spam with an abrupt ending.  I wonder if Reigns got injured and they had to go home early.  There's speculation he actually did hurt his shoulder or tricep.

 
Saw some YouTube clips of the Knoxville/Zayn match just because I couldn't believe what I was reading and how Sammy lost. What pure utter garbage that was. I'm embarrassed for Sammy and if I was in his position I'd had walked out of the company. The comedy was up Vinces alley and I got no issue with the JA crew but theres wrestling comedy done right and done wrong and that was the latter. 

I'm no means a defender of Kenny wrestling a broom stick but I do enjoy the comedy matches that Yano puts on in NJPW. Yano is a good ring wrestler but is comedy gold for NJPW. Plus the scenes he does in the ring make sense more times then not. 

However Zayn is just too good in the ring to be subjected to the comedy stuff all year round. WWE is wasting great talent. I loved NXT Sammy now he's not even taken seriously. Renew the Rivalry vs KO or have them Reunite and form their tag/stable again. Zayn needs to be made GREAT AGAIN. This is just typical WWE wasting someone's talent so they don't outshine certain other talent they want. 

 
I was intrigued enough to watch the opening segment of Raw to see what Cody would have to say.  His story is compelling to me but:

A) It may be too much of a slow burn and require too much empathy from the audience to work (live crowd was pretty quiet once he started telling it)

and 

B) It may require too much patience from WWE to let him tell it as a slow burn and pay it off in a way that makes sense.

Too bad.  I think it's a story worth telling.

Who told Elias/ Ezekiel to shave his beard? Guy looks a little like the Ultimate Warrior sans makeup, but that whole “I’m not Elias” schtick is kinda dumb.

As funny as this is it's also sad and petty because WWE does this constantly. I forget what Women's wrestler it was but they told her she had to change her hair because So and so on the main roster already had that color and she couldn't do it. Another female cut her hair shorter and they got pissy at her for it as they wanted her to have a certain look. Some of the crap they tell these men and women to do or get mad about is pretty ridiculous and petty. Definition of Micromanaging. 

This is why I could never work for WWE and I've almost quit my current job a few times in the past several yrs. I hate micromanagers. Its why I love how AEW does this stuff where TK tells everyone involved in a storyline "this is what the end goal is but I' leaving it up to you guys to figure out how you get to that. I'll look it over and talk to you about any changes I might want or maybe suggestions you could use after"

And its also why I like how NJPW works too. I hated scripted material even in school. Even during kid school plays we did I had to be involved in I put my own spin to lines I had sometimes to my teacher's displeasure other times they just rolled with it as I got the main point across. Public speaking a projects? Never had a speech written out. Bullet points sure to make sure Igot every point across but you couldn't scrip me at all. I'd be a horrible Hollywood actor honestly. 

 
Cody = Ratings. Raw best rating in over a year ...going head to head with national championship. Sounds like he got a hell of a deal. Got a bus which is usually reserved for top guys.

Theyll never admit it but Cody is/was more valuable to A&W than so many of these flavor of the month signings....combined.

Big Elevation Show, Mark backstage Henry, Christian Stunt, Sitting at home on Twitch last 6 months Miro, Keith Poetry Promo Lee. Moxley now 3rd wheel in some forced alliance. Lots and lots of $$ allocated to guys.....doing absolutely #### all.

IMO Cody was at worst the 3rd most valuable to the A&W brand. MJF is a clear #1 and I think he goes to WWE when contract ends. Then there's also Jericho. Daniel Bryan and Puke were bigger in WWE but now are really meh (particularly Bryan with Regal whom he doesn't need at all.....if anything it hinders Bryan having Regal taking mic time from him)

You could just tell from Cody's interview.....it isn't all the rainbows and butterflys the Young Bucks sleepover buddy Meltzer wants people to believe.

Good sign for Cody that on a weekend with Stone Cold and Taker there's a big buzz about him. 

Khan is no different than Dixie Carter. Spending his dad's money. His "huge" announcements have run their course. If Cody was unhappy there, there's going to be many others. Can't imagine those guys you mentioned above are doing what they thought they'd be after leaving WWE

Cody thought he'd have more creative power then he did. The VPs had booking power for the first while in AEW but TK saw the booking going down the bad WCW path so he stopped them an basically all creative goes and ends with TK now. Cody wanted more then just be a wrestler again. He wanted to be a booker

I think long term goal was that Cody was always going back to WWE as a bigger thing then he left. Look at it this way. Dusty WWF Bought NWA never won the Worlds Title in WWF, Dustin became Goldust and Cody eventfully a Mid card enchantment talent character that looked like he was brought in by Goldust. Cody returns now bigger then ever maybe does the 1 thing no one in his family does and wins the WWE title. Cody was always going back to WWE. He just used everyone else as a stepping stone. 

I don't have hope for WWE to do the right thing though. We know their history.  I Cody 6 months before he becomes irrelevant again in WWE. Then WWE will move to the next flavor of the month.

Knoxville vs Zayn was great. My entire family was jumping around and having an amazing time with it.

So watched the ROH PPV last night. Loved the Matches. Lethal's turn was very well done and Joe coming out at the end was good. Tully's new group includes Brian Cage and this could be great for him as Tully can do the one thing Cage can't do well and thats talk. 

Strickland/Zayne to start the show was good. FTR vs Briscos was great with the surprise Young Bucks appearance after that set up Bucks vs FTR for the ROH tag titles tonight. Grisham/Bandido was also great and Bandido keeping his honor and kicking CHavo out was great. Josh Woods lost to Wheeler Yuta which was awesome. 

Miniro Suzuki won his first American title winning the ROH TV Title which was awesome to see. Didn't care much for the Women's match as it was predictable Merceds would win the Interim title to face Deonna soon. So happy to see Ian back on commentary at ROH. 

ROH also still has their Honor Club which has the library and streams PPVs so I'm wondering if AEW and TK start using it for the PPVs. Last PPV trying to stream it was not great. Ended up finding an illegal stream like the old days that was much better. 

 
Also tried watching some of mania and just couldn't get into it at all. Seth and Becky seemed to be getting punished for Becky's comments on Stone Cold's pod about "since my baby was born Wrestling isn't my first priority anymore." Vinny Mac is not a fan of that type of talk. If the Business isn't your first priority you become useless to him. 

Only mania match I even enjoyed was Aj vs Edge. Could literally predict every match WWE had at Mania and I haven't watched since the Rumble. Thats sad. Cody/Seth was good but I've seen better matches out of Cody and I give him half a year before people get bored in WWE with him.
