MJF was asked why he thinks Hulk Hogan gets so much hate in the wrestling community.

“Because he’s a liar and a racist. It doesn’t change the fact that he was a massive draw and the professional wrestling business will never be the same because of him, for the better, but there are plenty of professional wrestlers that did great business, it doesn’t mean they’re great people."
Was he also asked if he is going to embrace the sexual predator known as Ric Flair who is now a part of AEW?
I’m sure he’d tell them if asked but he wasn’t in the interview
Where is the link to that interview?
Didn’t see one posted where I found the quote

So it could be made up? I mean, any of us could just post alleged quotes without links and say this person said this or that, right?

Wrestling Observer Radio: The plan right now, is for Dragon Lee to get involved in the Rey Mysterio/Santos Escobar/Carlito story next Friday night on SmackDown.

The Continental Classic tournament will crown the new AEW Triple Crown Champion, as AEW President Tony Khan announced that the ROH World title and the NJPW Strong Openweight title will be merged with the new AEW Continental Championship.

Essentially, the AEW Continental Championship was created to act as 1/3rd of the whole that is this new AEW/NJPW/ROH Triple Crown Championship.

This move was inspired by the legendary All Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Championship.

That title was created in a similar fashion when the then flagship AJPW title, the PWF World Heavyweight Championship, was unified with the NWA United National Championship and the NWA International Heavyweight Championship.

Khan also revealed the scoring system for the tournament, with three points for a win and one point for a draw, similar to those for soccer/football leagues especially in Europe. In addition, there will be absolutely no interference in any of the matches.

With the announcement also came the additions of Eddie Kingston, the current ROH World and NJPW Strong Openweight champion, and Mark Briscoe to the tournament. They join Bryan Danielson and Andrade El Idolo, with eight more set to be announced.

Eddie Kingston also announced that both of his titles will be on the line in all of his tournament match.

The round-robin tournament starts Wednesday on Dynamite and continues on Rampage/Collision weekly.

Darby Allin will be off All Elite Wrestling television for a while, as he trains in preparation to climb Mt. Everest.

Allin is believed to have gotten on a red eye flight to China last night right after the PPV, to prepare. - WOR

Brandon Cutler has confirmed that the Young Bucks are planning to take some time away from wrestling. More so, people within Matt & Nick’s camp are requesting asking people for privacy during this time.

Dolph Ziggler and pj black aka Justin Gabriel in WWE were backstage at full gear last night hanging out solos brother nic was also there

“So, the deal with this, is that the ROH World Championship essentially is changed to the Triple Crown. The New Japan Strong title goes away as part of the Triple Crown.

This is what AJPW did in the late 80s, when they had the International and United National Titles all merged. Essentially, it becomes one title.

The key to this is that they have a championship that is defended in NJPW, ROH, AEW, and sanctioned by all three promotions. So that's the uniqueness of it, in the sense that it's becoming a three promotion belt.”

Buff was doing well seems to fallen off the wagon again

According to the Georgia Gazette, Marcus “Buff”Bagwell was arrested on November 16th, for speeding and driving while under the influence of drugs.

The best part of this: the replies. Social media can be so toxic and so negative, but in the few replies that I read down, all were positive and supportive.

According to Nick Hausman, there’s people within WWE that MJF has indeed quietly re-signed with AEW.

There’s one hire up in WWE that stated there has been zero talks with MJF and the company.

To make this more interesting, MJF is set to enter free agency imminently is a “false narrative” & that it’s believed that the AEW World Champion has re-signed with AEW into 2027.

Most of the comments I’ve read in most places have been positive hoping he’s well.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Robinson sustained a back injury recently that will require surgery to fix. No timetable was given for his recovery but the report noted that it is not expected to be an "extremely drawn-out absence." However, Robinson is expected to be out for at least the rest of the year.

Andre vs. Stan Hansen

Just 73 seconds of the biggest of big beefy men slappin big beefy men. Andre gave Hansen so much offense, and Hansen working blind no doubt laid everything in stiff and Boss just returned the favors. That poor ring could have never been the same.

Becky Lynch is no MENSA candidate.

through the first two rounds of the game, Becky failed to give a single correct response to any of the 60 clues in the game. At that point, the score was $8,700 for Culkin, $7,600 for Dratch, and -$2,500 for Lynch.
They had to give her $500 just so she could play in the final round. 🤣🤣
To be fair to her a lot of stuff on jeopardy most Americans wouldn’t know
This was Celebrity Jeopardy, not the normal one. There was a category about bacon, and another about synonyms for butt. That said she had some close wrong answers Ozarks instead of Ozark for the TV show. "Circe around" instead of "circle back" for office lingo. The other two also had their timing on the answer button. You could see she was pissed for most of the show.

The Continental Classic field has been revealed:

Blue Bracket(Collision): Bryan Danielson, Claudio, Eddie Kingston, Andrade, Daniel Garcia, and Brody

Hulk Hogan and Rey Mysterio - phony heroes

This is why I never bought into either one of them as faces. Plus RM had zero business being a world champion.
I think people with rey is he’s relatable to people size wise.

Though the article is laughable at best. Hogan has been a **** human being for yrs. Publicly shown and for some reason just like Flair and McMahon people and fans still love them. Hell when people found out Austin beats his wife they shrugged it off and kept giving those birds and chanting “WHAT?”

I’ve heard a few things on Rey but a lot of it is just unconfirmed reports from those who has heat with him or WWE and rey ended up being a benefactor of said loss

The Young Bucks are reportedly starting a new chapter of their careers in AEW. A new report provides an update on the situation.

After Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho beat The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear, Brandon Cutler took to social media to announce that they would be taking some time away from wrestling, he subsequently cited sources who noted that the duo was finished with Being The Elite.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has reported that the Young Bucks are set to have heel turn and forming a group also stated that Cutler would be doing more speaking and Colt Cabana has been talked about for the stable, but his involvement is not a lock.

Terry Bollea is not a good guy, I think we all know that, but that article seems to forget the difference between Hulk Hogan and Terry Bollea. Hogan attacked the Andre after the first Survivor Series loss and threw a fit when eliminated by Sid in the Rumble because that is what was BOOKED, not because Terry Bollea decided on the spot to be a poor sport. I suspect Vince knew that Hogan could do no wrong in those days and fans would still cheer him, and he was largely right; Hogan often fought fire with fire by acting like a heel in matches (eye gouges, back rakes, etc.). That is why Vince would book Hogan to do villainous acts, because he could do them and the fans would still be behind him, except the 1992 Rumble was where the tide started to turn, as the fans did boo him for his hissy fit about Sid eliminating him.

I just find it interesting that the media chooses to ignore certain other major stars doing bad things. Austin once hit his wife. Flair is a sexual predator and racist. But no one seems to care in either case. Are people really that seduced by Flair's WOOOO that they are willing to ignore what he has done? Apparently so.

But the Young’s bucks are only in it for themselves they said.

The wrestler in question is Ethan Page. The Canadian-native announced that he is now a permanent resident of the United States.

Ethan Page took to the time to thank AEW and Young Bucks very own, Matt Jackson…..

"Happy Thanksgiving to everyone lucky to call (the) USA their home. As of a few days ago, I’m one of those very lucky people. I’m officially a Green Card holder and a proud permanent resident of the United States of America. So today I’m especially thankful for @AEW. They helped make this dream come true. For sponsoring me and my family. For giving me this opportunity in America. Thank you all."
Page then wrote about why he was specifically thankful to Matt Jackson.”

"I’ve said this to Matt Jackson many times, but him offering me a job with AEW has changed not only my life, but my entire families life (probably for generations). One of my biggest life goals has been accomplished and I’m thankful for every person who played a part. The good and the bad."

for Austin i and others here have discussed this on here when talking about unfortunately Kareem hunt and other DV cases. Back then people read how braces manager Bobby Cox beat on his wife, David Justice among others. People here in Philly routinely shrugged off the crap Allen Iverson did to his wife as well. People shrugged the Ray Rice incident until they saw video of it and that’s when I think everyone saw the reality of DV.

Unless you’ve experienced yourself or knew someone close back then many shrugged it. Now with video cameras and all people condem it including going after UFCs own Dana White. I see a lot of you get people condemning flair where people his age or grew up watching flair more or less either shrugg it off or excuse the behavior.

I think a lot of wrestling fans aren’t aware of Austin’s actions. Up until maybe 2010 or so I didn’t know about Austin beating his wife. When I heard about it I thought they were talking about his storyline or whatever at first back in the day. When I saw the second time I was like oh he really did beat her that’s terrible.

Hogan is an east target simple because he got off on a cheap pop gimmick that worked back then and wouldn’t work today besides to a certain political group. Given how polarizing said group is only natural he’s lumped in with it. So Terry is an easy target. Most in WWE when he cameback knew his apology was ******** and didn’t mean a dam. Vince only brought him back because he himself is just as bad and sees nothing wrong with it.

Wrestling Observer: Being The Elite on YouTube is not on hiatus, it's actually done. As of this point in time, there are no plans to bring it back.

The idea is for the Young Bucks to take some time off and come back as heels with major impact.

It’s in the beginning stages and there’s no known time frame on when they will pull the trigger on it and they will return.

It's hard to take your Hogan takes seriously when you keep repeating the untrue take that he got over because of a gimmick, when the reality is that he was already crazy over as a face with the fans before Vince starting hammering the patriotic angle. Your take is not true no matter how many times you repeat it. You are too young IIRC to have experienced it in real time, unlike an old fogey like me, who was there and remembers.

Cm punk chants at tonight’s Smackdown were met with many boos. The people have finally turned on punk.
The clips I saw on Twitter all showed loud chants for him, but keep churning out the Meltzer shtick of saying untrue things in the hopes that some will believe you.
Wasn’t meltzer stuff was reported by fans at the arena from other sites. Facebook comments from fans there saying that report is true. Go look up fan shot video last night if fans chanting punk and portions of the crowd booing.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that the split of the LWO originally called for Escobar to stay with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro instead of Escobar attacking them and having the tag team feud with Mysterio, Carlito and a third person believed to now have been Dragon Lee, who the company is extremely high on at the moment.

The Garzas, who work NXT at the moment, are also scheduled at this point to be on Escobar’s side. There’s speculation of Electra Lopez, who was with Escobar in NXT, being on that side to feud with Vega, but that has not been fully confirmed at this time.

Same **** different day in WWE

WWE has no plans for Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight to happen at the 2024 “Royal Rumble”, according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

WWE reportedly has other plans locked in, but Roman’s opponent for the show is still unknown.

wXw wrestler Absolute Andy passed away in his sleep last night at 40-years-old, following a long illness.

Andy won every major title at wXw. 16 Carat Gold Winner, wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion, wXw Shotgun Champion, 5x World Tag Team Champion, wXw World Heavyweight Champion. He is the only wrestler to have these achievements on his resume.

Over 330 times, Andy laced up his boots for wXw and stepped into the ring against the best of the best. Bryan Danielson, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jeff Jarrett, Walter, Ilja Dragunov and Tommy End (Malakai Black)

Those who saw ROH match said Rousey looked really good and a lot have said it was their favorite match from the tapings

Ronda Rousey’s appearance with ROH was a one time deal, in exchange for AEW talent working Wrestling Revolver, per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Tony Khan had initially not wanted any of his talent working the Revolver show, as AEW was running Los Angeles the same weekend, but allowed it to happen after Jon Moxley requested the women personally on behalf of Sami Callihan. Khan negotiated the finish, which saw Athena hit Rousey with her ROH Women’s belt, disqualifying herself and “Minion” Billie Starkz.

Rousey agreed to do the Ring of Honor show and team with Shafir in a rematch against Athena and Starkz, which saw Rousey and Marina pick up the victory.

PWInsider reports Drew McIntyre and WWE have yet to enter negotiations over a new contract as both sides still feel there's a lot of time to negotiate.

McIntyre has told those close to him that he is more than willing to let his current deal lapse if necessary and take a break for his family as they recently suffered the loss of his wife's sister.

There’s been no signs of any negative issues between WWE management and McIntyre.

Lol he actually came CM punk at the end. They literally did the Ronda Rousey at Rumble debut. I give him 6 months before he takes his ball and goes home crying like a ***** again. Only reason WWE did this was as a stick it to AEW.

If I remember correctly I think Drew and punk have had heat in the past. Drew is good friends with Orton as well and I could see him believing punks debut obershadowing Orrin’s return. A guy who imho might be the most underrated superstar in wrestling world today. Which is crazy to say when he was super hyped up when he first came up. Orton hasn’t seen a WWE in over a year and half. So I could see Drew being upset. Also there are rumors of Gallus coming up who are friends of Drew’s as he was in a stable in ICW when doing indies before coming back with a few of those boys. Rumors of to believe said they were suppose to debut tonight this is definately a story worth paying attention to

Drew McIntyre stormed out of the ring after the end of the Wargames match that closed Survivor Series .

McIntyre stormed into the back, slammed his locker room door, threw on a Hoodie and immediately left the Allstate Arena.

It was obvious to everyone that McIntyre was angry, but no word yet as to why. It was such a loud and obvious situation that a lot of people witnessed it and it's become a subject of conversation over the last hour.

The deal between CM Punk and WWE is believed to be “several years in length” and the company and Punk had their first communications over the last week.

Once the ice was broken between CM Punk & WWE, the deal came together rather quickly. It is being seen by the WWE side as a "new beginning.”

Based on what was inferred, the two sides actually came to terms officially at some point today.

Also if you remember after the first brawl out and punk to WWE rumors started a few reports came out saying there were several WWE people from the office to superstars who said they’d quit if punk were to be rehired. I also heard there was at least 2 top talents who had heat with him. I believe Drew was one and I think Seth the other. If Seth and Punks heat is as legit as that interview I could see Seth asking to drop the title and him leaving WWE and Becky not far behind.

But I think at this point Seth is so up corporates *** he wouldn’t do that unless it got really personal. As for Drew he has no extension and if there’s heat between him and punk given WWE did as time on his deal Hunter might just say screw it let’s let Drew go and see if we can compromise to not allow backstage drama

Trying to find video but apparently there’s other videos of Rhipley flipping punk off too. Seems like a lot of unhappy people punk is back. WWE personel and security quickly got involved including Cole and Corey Graves. Having a friend who worked WWE I found I out what’s a work or story telling fast. If you got the commentators involved it’s dam real
