Official Reggie Bush Thread (1 Viewer)

Reggie is not a feature RB, the pounding is starting to take a toll on his small body.
Just stop. there are so many injured players right now including many rb's like alexander, henry, etc. Just cause Bush is ? doesnt mean he cant take the pounding.

FoxSports.com expects Reggie Bush to start, but thinks Bush may struggle to finish the game because he's less than 100%.

Rotoworld's blurb:

It's a tough sport for owners. With a great matchup at home against the Rams, we can't imagine benching Bush assuming he's starting.

Regardless of how injured he is, if NO gets up big on STL early I can see where NO would rest him rather than risk further toil on him.Anyone think STL can keep this one close?

I do... they have the talent too score... and SJax is back.I see Bush giving us 3 solid quaters.

I bet St. Luis straight up on the money line to win the game outright.......

Rewind 2-3 weeks ago New Orleans was just another CHUMP in the NFC. So they blown out San Fran and a Jax with a depleted offense and defense. The week before those two games the EAKED one out vs Atlanta 22-16

St. Luis is full strength (ok maybe 90%) on offense......There defense has actually not given up that many points considering their offense had 3-4 weeks where they were not any more potent than a High School team.

Okay - the O Line is only 10% of the offense........ :kicksrock:

What exactly do you consider "that many points"? 80? 90? Stl points allowed: gm 1 27 gm 2 17 gm 3 24 gm 4 35 gm 5 34 gm 6 22 gm 7 33 gm 8 27Brees has found his stride and will blow out Stl.

how unhealthy is he really? maybe they are just keeping reggie fresh and by game time he will be fine. maybe 90%, but still fine.

Ok, maybe once. But twice?? :football:

People just like to say Reggie isnt a featured back. The guy is in great physical shape and has never missed a game. I guess Alexander, LJ, Sjax, Brown cant be featured backs either.

The Bush haters make me laugh

 He probably has more touches in the last 4 weeks than any other rb (guessing here)

In SF, they pulled him when the game got out of hand. Vs Jax, they left him in after the game was out of hand and he got nicked up. Logic would say the Saints will pull him if they get up big today. As a Saints fan, it's hard for me to predict confidently a blow out, but if you think they'll torture the Rams then expect no more than 3 quarters from Reggie. I think that may still be better than all but about 10 other guys today. (PPR, of course)

Bush is ACTIVE!

New Orleans Inactives

Summary: WR Robert Meachem, G Andy Alleman, T Jermon Bushrod, DE Charles Grant, DT Brian Young, LB Scott Shanle, CB Usama Young, DB Jay Bellamy

GREAT.I've got 30 min to choose Bush or Selvin Young. I don't know what to do
Same situation I'm in...thinking I'll stick with Bush. He looks to be active and has a pretty nice matchup. As a Bronco fan though, nice to see Henry out and Selvin getting another start.

I'm starting Young over Bush, need a sure thing at least to start. Knee's can be tricky, and Young played well against a tough GB D. This better work because my season is over if I pick the wrong guy.

If the Saints blow out the Rams I think that will necessitate that Bush gets at least a td and some decent yardage. That's a lot more than most backs can promise.

I think Bush could outperform Young in a half vs the Niners. KC is tough at home.

I may be wrong but I think this is the wrong move. I do not like Denver in KC and I think Bush will be just fine to the tune of about 110 to 120 combined and a TD.

ok, so far it's 3-2 Bush over S. Young.

I got about 15 minutes left to decide. BTW, I play in a PPR league

:lmao: :loco:

Changed my mind, going with a motivated Bush to quiet all the naysayers including unnamed teammates, former agents, marketers, and the like...Go BIG or Go HOME

Sorry to hijack, but is Pierre Thomas possibly getting some extra carries today? Or maybe it's Stecker?

I'd like to bench Chester Taylor as my 2nd flex.
