In what might have been the worst timing in the history of ever, I had a family walk into my office right as it was going into extra time. I quickly had to mute and minimize. I pull it back up, and the Dortmund players are walking around waving to the fans. I thought, "Man, they sure look happy for somebody who just got knocked out." Can't believe I missed it. :doh:

 
Decided not to record anything today, didn't expect anything eventful to happen. Sounds like I was dead on, good job me.

I'm having cable signal issues that manifest only on Fox Soccer. Comcast is coming to put an amplifier on tomorrow. So I'm going to have a TIVO recording of a black screen. I'm thrilled.

Dear Fox Soccer,

If you are going to show a match on tape delay, you may want to consider NOT leading off that broadcast with the final score of said game. I hope your new station goes bankrupt and you are all raped to death by bears.

:goodposting: I've learned to have my wife start the taped match and FF to the start of the match so I don't see any highlights of the match I want to see. The problem yesterday was they evidently showed so long of a "look in" after the early match that it ran the tape delay past the listed time of the program. Idiots!

This happens everytime I try to watch the delayed match on Fox. Yet another reason I hope they lose these rights the next time they come up. Terrrible.

 
Those of you who record the tape-delayed games that air at 4 CT on FSC may want to take a look at the regional fox sports stations. Oftentimes they will air the "other" game live. Today for example FSC has Barca-PSG live, whereas Regional Fox Sports Network X has Juve-Bayern, so you can record both at the same time on different networks.

I became a Dortmund fan last year and was excited to watch them on GolTV and in the Champions League. First, Comcast drops GolTV in December. Yesterday, my DVR stopped at the same time yours did.

I feel like someone is trying to tell me something.

 
What would you guys rather see, the Germans and Spanish play each other and have one of each in the final, or mix it up and have the chance at an All German or Spanish final?

 
I'd prefer not to see Dortmund... don't think they're in the same class as the other three...would especially like the first two

I want intranational semis and an international final. Don't like it when the final is two teams from the same league.
