This could be like Twilight if Twilight were about two kids who eventually end up playing for Celta Viga's reserves.
OR MAYBE they'll be leading the US to the knockout stage in the 2026 World Cup, held in Zimbabwe.
Everyone knows that the 26 World Cup is being held on the Avatar planet. All those Unobtanium Dollars.

By the way, this IS pretty sick for an 11 year old. Check out the roulette.

EDIT:

Actually this video is better as it has a bunch of video of his Real Madrid trial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vDu9mc_Y65c

I don't know what great 11 year old soccer players look like, but I don't remember facing stepovers like that in the old National Capital Soccer League when I was a kid. You can tell that Ronaldo is his favorite player.

Yeah. Really strange. He'll obviously get guaranteed playing time. Maybe leading up to the WC, that's more important than playing in a tougher league. (at least for a guy like Dempsey, who has nothing left to prove and has probably already fully fleshed out his tactical and technical skill)

Only way this makes sense is if he finishes his year out on loan after the MLS season.

ETA: Oh, and it still doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, I don't get it. Seems like Everton would be a good fit among the bigger clubs, and pretty much all of the mid and lower table clubs would love to have him. Very strange.

He's 30, had his best season in the EPL two years ago and probably wont top it. So why stay there to come of the bench?

It's just really hard to believe that he wouldn't get guaranteed playing time at a mid level team in England, France, Spain, Italy, or Germany. There has to be 20 European teams that could use him and would pay a small transfer fee.

I remember him raving about Seattle after the qualifier there. Maybe he just decided it was time to come home once he saw he wasn't going to regularly start for a CL side?

He doesn't have to come off the bench though. He'd be a key attacking player for two-thirds of the clubs in the PL.

Why go play for Stoke when he'd be idolized in Seattle?
Far better competition.

And if he goes to Everton he's playing in Europe, albeit the Europa League.

I would suspect that he's cleared this with Klinsmann first insofar as it being adequate for him to play in the WC next year.

Let me be clear. Deuce is 30. I don't think he needs to play against top competition to get better. It's not that.

It's just that Klinsmann has put so much into the narrative of Deuce has exemplified his belief that players have to constantly push for more. It kind of makes Jurgen look silly. I suppose that's less of an issue now than it was 8 months ago. Klinsmann can afford it now.

I'm also not in love with a 30 year old who is so important to the US team playing on artificial turf.

Arsenal down 2-0 to Napoli in the 60th at the Emirates. Game is on ESPN Deportes. Podolski with a missed PK. Higuain with the wrong jersey on. <_<

So it appears that Arsenal lacks a good finisher and also a good holding CM who can help the CB's on the counter when the FB's are really far forward.

Why didn't we see this before!

I was just going to ##### about Podolski blundering a great pass in the box a few minutes ago and then Giroud just ####### one up, then Giroud nails a bicycle off a corner.

Giroud - 1

Higuain - 0

:coffee:
