It took me a second to process this but what will this mean to Rossi's career now? As damaged goods is he going to be stuck trying to prove his health in the second division now?Seems very similar to Holden's situation.

What American's will play in UCL next season as of now?
Assuming Friedel stays at Spurs and Chelsea does not win, he will be in UCL qualifying.
Sacha will be in UCL qualifying I believe as Belgium champions.
Anyone else? I think both Jozy and Gooch miss out. The guys at Rangers miss out because of the financial mess.

This surprises me if true. I thought he would at least come to camp but not make the final 23.

Judging by Sacha Kljestan's tweets & what I've been hearing, the new Belgian league champ won't be in USMNT camp. Unfortunate if so.

Real quick look shows (1) Michael Parkhurst (his team has qualified for either 1st/2nd, which will make Champions League qualifying) and, if you want to count him, because he probably shouldn't be counted, (2) Terrence Boyd at Dortmund.There may be more out there too.

He never should have been in. That was one of the oddest picks of the season. Villa has historically been a top team and has consistently been top-half for recent memory. CONGRATS TO CITY. They deserved the title (although QPR deserved a better result in the game despite Barton). Imagine if he had left the field and not contributed to their being 5 added.... 
Anyway, City deserved the title, United lost it vs Wigan and tossing 2 goals away to Everton and City does what champions do with 2 goals in added time. Tip the hat to them.
Next year will be fun if Tottenham and Newcastle continue to improve and Everton learns to start quickly. Also, Arsenal and Chelsea will continue to challenge....

If finally got a chance to watch the Bolton game. Man, would it be hard to go down like that. That Walters goal was atrocious. The keeper clearly had the ball and Walters simpy smashed into him to knock it out. How does the ref and the lineman miss that? It's just one of those inexplicable things. Mistakes happen, but when a referee/linesman brain farts like that you just want to punch them in the face.

Clearly he has the talent to do what he did for Liverpool, but not many teams can gamble at that rate. If you know Falcao works (and won't go down in value) would you gamble on Torres? It seems to me it would have to be a better offer than what's being presented if it was to even be considered.

I can't imagine that Torres + 15mm is the best AM could do, if they to do decide to sell. Z can probably answer better than I, but I'd rather have all-cash or a better player than Torres.I assume if he goes, Citeh and Chelsea are going to be the two main suitors.

I have been a City supporter for eleven years and follow them closely ( much easier now than early on) and I can't remember a more unbelievable moment in sports. Maybe game 6 NLCS in '86 but that didn't win it. Simply unreal. I have watched the game three times and still get a little choked up at the. Very happy for the supporters there who must have gone through sports fan he'll the last two decades and are the main reason I started backing City in the first place. Amazing.

I agree. I think they'll need to up the offer by quite a bit.Assuming Falcao is worth 55m€, how much is Torres worth right now? 25m€? 20m€? Remember that Kun got sold for 40m€ or so by Atlético last year. Oh and BTW, Man City had to pay an additional 750k€ to Atlético after they won the title. Interesting clause in the transfer deal...

He is expected to call up to 29 players in total and cut to 23 by the first friendly.
