The reason for my confusion is that I thought they were calling the Real Madrid - Barcelona matches the past two weeks Super Cup. I guess that is the Spanish version and this UEFA's version?

Unless you think Andy Carroll absolutely sucks, I don't know why you'd want Llorente for LFC. I'll concede that he moves well and is uncommonly skilled for his size, but he's still not what I would call a mobile striker. If Carroll is a "bad fit," so is Llorente.

They better perform some magic, and fast, or this transfer window has gotten real ugly.Daniel Sturridge looks like he's definitely not joining Liverpool. According to reports he turned down the move as he was only interested in a permanent deal, while Liverpool and wanted a loan move.
