Pretty good game between LA and KC at the half.
LD with a goal and an assist. No longer :missing:
Looked fit as well - covered a lot of ground for 90 minutes. Aside from his assist and goal made some nice passes (a great one with the outside of the foot early on that gave Keane a nice chance really stood out). As a Galaxy and USMNT fan, it was good to see that performance.
Maybe he'll grace us with his presence the next time his country has a must-win game in a hostile environment with 5 other starters injured....

I hope he's gone.####....brilliant soccer player, but a what a mental case.40M and he's gone
His value is high, but it's not that high  .

He's a mental case and Liverpool are going to be pressed to move him. They aren't going to get a premium price.

Suarez: goals in 49% of his EPL games, assists in 21%

Balotelli: goals in 37% of EPL games, assists in 11%

Suarez may actually be crazier IMO, but he also did more in an inferior situation.

Balotelli sold for 24 million pounds. Over or under?

Didn't Suarez get a lot more playing time?

What sort of suspension is Suarez looking at?

If it were up to me he'd be banned from the sport for life before someone gets rabies, but that's not going to happen.

Good point. I'm sure Suarez had more minutes/appearance. Don't have a soccer stats go to site though.

I just want this season to be over with. I had a great day today, other than that ####### ####### #### #######, and now my wife's pissed off at me because I've been such a ####### ####### all afternoon. I had to go smoke a joint in the basement which is really not cool under the particular circumstances of the day with a bunch of kids over here so now everything is all ##########. I recall seeing Ryan Bertrand taking a throw-in at about 96:15 which was headed toward the Liverpool goal and fielded by Reina, at which point I got up from the couch all happy with my team solidly in 3rd place with a game in had on the gunners and all ready to start the grill and slide into a nice and easy afternoon and evening. WTF?? Cech's had a great season but damn. For me its all on Chelsea and Rafa not to come away with 3 points today but damn, its hard not to be pissed off about the referee today.

Suarez could've amputated Ivanovic's arm with those choppers. Probably best to ####-can him for the rest of the year.

He's signed through June 2018, so I don't think cracking 40 is out of the question.

Getting pretty fired up or Champions. Great final 4. Tops 3 teams in the world and a scrappy underdog team that can beat anyone on any given day.

Messi : Best player in the world

Ronaldo : Most dangerous player in the world

Bayern : Most dominate team in the world.

Robben : Biggest choker in the world

Mourhino : More like MourhinoJoke! 9 (hate that guy)

Didn't make that argument, but some of the ones I did make don't look so hot. Do over?

I fixed your post even though he's not in the semis.

I'm not particularly scandalized over the matter. Vinnie Jones is a cult hero for squeezing Gasciogne in the Gazzas. Suarez is a dirtbag. He should get a healthy ban. But he's a talented dirtbag. And the comparisons to Tyson are silly.

Dominant, it's dominant. Dominant is an adjective. Dominate is a verb. Why don't people know this?

Yes, but in the words of Jules, "personality goes a long way." Suarez is a filthy animal.

I was fairly drunk at that pointe

Jumped in here to ask a question...

Why is it that 90% of the time when a guy scores a goal they break out in a full sprint while teammates try to catch them? It seems strange to me. "I just scored and you guys want to tackle me BUT YOU CAAAAN'T!!!"

The Bild is reporting that Bayern have triggered Mario Goetze's release clause and will sign him for 37m this summer. Its a daily rumor rag and it does feature pictures of naked ladies, but the Bild is pretty highly regarded when it comes to footy, definitely a good notch above something like the Daily Mail.

I don't see this happening.

The writings on a bathroom stall are a good notch above the Daily Mail.

It's not impossible, and crazier transfers have happened. But, it makes little sense to me. Dortmund won 2 straight league titles, is a CL semifinalist and the only club within 20 points of Bayern in the table. Now they sell their best player to Bayern? I can see the overall competitiveness of the BL going down with this move.If his contract is up and he wants the move I guess Dortmund should get what they can.

There's nothing bvb can do if the contract release clause is met and the player wants to leave. There's one simple rule that applies here - - when it comes to German players, what Bayern wants, Bayern gets.

:goodposting:

To me the interesting part of the rumor is the release clause. Dortmund obviously doesn't want to sell their best player to Bayern. But if there really is a 37M release clause in his contract, there's not even a discussion as to whether Bayern would activate it. Of course they would.

I did not see a mention of it but apparently BVB vs Real is live only on FX Wednesday. And it looks like this is the last hurrah for this group with Lewandowski and Gotze on the way out.

I am relatively new to Bundesliga and my BVB fandom (and Comcast dropping GolTV didn't help) but with the chance that both players are in Munich next season has cemented my hatred forever.

The rumour mill is soccer is ridiculously bad. You people shouldn't put so much stock in it.

BBC and Guardian are reporting confirmation from Bayern Munich.

Yes, they are. It was more of a general statement...like how I read Dortman players like Hummels and Lewandowski are linked with every big club. Or like Barcelona's secret Neymar agreement reporting that pops up every other day.
