Pool to bid on Falcao?
Not happening
Come on, cant I get your hopes up even a little?

I wish though man..but a stumbling block in the Bony transfer was his wages. Doubt they pony up to even get close to what he was making in tax free Monaco.
Holy cow, Falcao odds to Liverpool just dropped again. Now better than even odds to move to Anfield. 4/6.

ITS GOING DOWN. DONE DEAL!

Don't do this to me...the last time "the odds dropped" on a player going to Liverpool...it was Mata. Your heart can only be broken so many times*

*in before Christo says only once

FWIW, I was annoyed by that Reus post of yours because I've had it in the back of my head that Liverpool would want to make a big splash with some of that off-season $$ they have. So far it's all (hopefully) nice risk-reward stuff that helps build a team, but nothing so far that made anyone sit up and think "damn - Liverpool's serious about this."

It just seems like one huge signing using a hunk of the Suarez money would a) help offset his loss in front of goal and b) get players thinking about the team differently again (esp with the addition of CL football).

I'm a tight mofo and generally love the value plays, but IMO it makes a lot of sense in the big-picture that they might make a move for someone like Falcao. YMMV

Yeah, sorry about that post...I don't usually do that but that one was too funny imo

Eta, and I agree with on the statement signing

Falcao is better than Costa, and not by a little IMO. That said, no one it's really sure how old he is and that injury could put a damper inn his game. But when he was on, he was the best #9 in the game. Yes, even better than Zlatan.

This is a bit of a trick question but fun to ponder

@devinpleuler: TRIVIA: Which retired @MLS player has played for the #USMNT as well as scored a goal against the #USMNT?

 Unpossible... The Zlatan does not approve of this message.

I don't buy this rumor though (hope I'm wrong). You'd think it'd be really hard to hide something like that, and I'm not seeing any buzz or reports from the usual sources.

Monaco bought him last year for £50m, and they don't need to balance their books after they let James Rodriguez go to Real Madrid for £63m.

Monaco is playing CL games again this year, no?

Monaco is more vulnerable to FFP enforcement than any club in Europe.

Hey - Why is that? Because they play in a tiny stadium? Or because they spent money last year like drunken sailors on shore leave?

:goodposting:

They can't sellout games against PSG and it's a terrible atmosphere..yeah, that'll last.
