Laser from Matic. Little known fact - he was a number 10 as a youth player and then grew like 4 inches and put on 30 pounds of muscle. Super player.

No more boring Chelsea haters :towelwave:

C'e Solo L' AS Roma....can't wait to see front trident of Totti/Gervinhio/Iturbe, with Destro & Llajic coming off the bench.....sorry for the interruption, as you were, Anglophiles...

It feels like Distin aged 40 years in one summer. And Jags hasn't been any better. What harm is there in giving Stones a shot? It can't be worse.

EDIT: Rog sums it up.

Everton's defending. Sadder than a Tracy Chapman song
I don't remember Distin being at fault much... imo, more a tactical problem playing both too high and aggressive on the ball, man and runs in the first half and then waaay too soft and too much room in the 2nd.

Some classic Gervhino going on here. No one is better at getting himself in awesome chances then not converting them. He was the perfect Arsenal player.

Joaquin sighting! I really liked him & thought he was gonna be something when he played with Villa & Dasilva at Valencia...(now watch him equalize)

@PCarrESPN: With that Liverpool goal, the only PL team yet to concede this season is Aston Villa & keeper Brad Guzan.

#Murica

That shot of Rodgers smiling and clapping for Balotelli after he screwed the shot was awesome. You could see he didn't care about the shot -- he was loving the defensive work and the ball into an uncomfortable space.

OTOH: Suarez would be looking for his 4th goal of the day right now.

Macheda just never panned out. The times I saw him play, I didn't get why such a huge club would be bringing him in there... not one of Sir Al's best picks.

But his worst- absolute worst- was Bebe. I can't believe he remained on the books there until this year. I figured he was jettisoned after his first summer- which had to have been years ago.

Seems like it was a tough year to try to get a CB- bunch of high-paying teams already in the CL were after them too. But as a MU fan- money aside- you can't feel too bad about that group of players that are coming in.
Macheda not one of SAF's best picks? Probably true but his goal against Villa in 2009 was the was final nail in the coffin for Liverpool's hopes of overtaking United in the league that year. That alone will always endear him to United fans, wish him well in the next step with Cardiff.
