Stupid argument by the announcers here.

It is a PK 100% of the time if you reach out and grab a guy after he's gone by you in the box. Whether the player is simply impeded by a quarter step (as Allen was) or pulled down (which he was not) is irrelevant.

The argument is over why Allen fell to the ground embellishing it. It was unnecessary and the penalty wouldn't have been called if he didn't go down.

Fun game to watch. You can see the natural talent oozing out of this team. Sterling Sturridge and Mario...love this trio.

Got a little chuckle reading this-

52' After Ozil is dispossessed in the middle of the field, Arsenal quickly regain the ball but an attempt at a swift counter-attack is brought to an end by Sanogo, who is flagged offside. http://www.fotmob.com

Just as I said. Some people will be overvaluing Liverpool this year. It never fails.
Way too early to be bumping posts like this to rub in someone's face, IMO....
I'm not even sure what it means. They were expected to compete for 3rd/4th and it looks like they will compete for 3rd/4th.I think some expected them to compete for the title, but they are a long way from matching City or Chelsea.

Final day of the transfer window. Lots of wild rumors out there

United may sell Januzaj to fund a big move

Possibly for Vidal, whom United has not given up on yet :deadhorse:

Also looking at Falcao with RVP banged up :o

Now Arsenal decides it wants to buy a striker after all, Bacca has been mentioned

Also looking to to make a last ditch effort for Carvalho :hangover:

While Liverpool are looking at Shaquiri :bs:

Watched the Barca game and now watching the Real game. Expanding my horizons

Is La Liga considered better than the BPL? or Opposite?
You'll get a lot of different arguments about this subject... but IMO EPL has a few more teams at the top than La Liga or Bundesliga, but otherwise pretty similar. Serie A is down right now -- definitely a step behind.
