Rangers and Celtic have been drawn together in the Scottish League cup, so we'll have an Old Firm match for the first time since April 2012.

I'd figure that this is going to be a ####### war.

Alexis Sanchez is a legend
He's incredible. He defines work rate. Really, really fun to watch.
Bit of a #### imo.
Sket?

He has a case to be league MVP. With Costa missing time and Chelsea not missing a beat, I think the MVP is Sanchez or Fabergas.
For me, Hazard is Chelsea POY so far, not sure about the league. I don't think it's close.
Interesting because whenever I've seen Chelsea, Fabregas looks instrumental in every good thing they do but I don't watch every match.

andy?

Charlie Davies scored twice to lead the Revs to a first round, first leg playoff win over Columbus.

US attack never looked as good as it did with Davies running next to Jozy. Good to hear he's coming back into form.

they've both been fantastic.

I'm calling it now that Chelsea goes undefeated through the Prem. Fantastic squad and The Special One know how to do these things. Hate the #### out of Chelsea and their plastic fans, but the league is done this year.

Ipswich looking good. Two players you will see in the Prem next year are Mings and McGoldrick. At Ipswich or Sunderland type teams.

Liverpool... Rodgers needs to pull his head out of his ###. Two strikers from the first whistle. Everyone sees the defense is shambles. Skrtel and Lovrens = ####. Mario solo = ####.

Put in Toure and Lovren(Ilori, Flanigan, Coates my left ball, etc.). Borini and Mario. Rest Sterling one game at least. Bench Gerrard for once(he is old and a shadow currently).

I am seriously thinking the best thing is Liverpool loses and drops to Europa and then spends every effort to win that. Europa winner gets CL next year.

Top 4 is still doable but not without Studge. And that cat can't go a month without tearing something.

4th or even 3rd is still achievable for Liverpool, although they are really making it hard on themselves. If United can get a draw today, that will say a lot about their viability as the 4th place team.

Sevilla currently losing 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao. Similar situation to Liverpool yesterday inasmuch as a trip to a historically good team that plays well at home, although Sevilla is better placed.

I see no way this happens - too many quality teams for that. They right now seem good for the league but things can change quickly.

It's extremely difficult to do that. Somebody will knock them off. They're a great team to be sure, but not to have even a single hiccup that results in a loss over 38 games and 9 months (with other competitions mixed in) is virtually impossible.

Odds are you're right, but I think this Chelsea side is better than the Arsenal team that did it and the league may be relatively weaker as well -- not sure there's a legit challenger in the pack this year.

If it happens again it'll be a setup like this one.

After thinking more - Smalling a bigger ####### idiot than I originally thought. His first yellow was even more asinine than the second. LvG should rip him a new one.
