LOL at Mini Maxi getting Diskerud's number 10.  I guess someone's just not in the Mix.
From what I can tell, the only way the little guy can fit in the salary cap is to assume Mix has to be moved.  I assume Mix is going to move outside of MLS because  I can't see who in MLS is going to take him without NY subsidizing the salary, which I think would still affect their cap.

I don't think he'll have a problem fitting pretty much anywhere.

"salary cap"

Mix was a bigger burden on the cap than a DP was because he chewed up the exact same max cap slot as a DP did plus he takes up allocation space that the DP's do not affect.
I mean they did have 3 DPs with him last year and they haven't added a ton of salary this offseason, so I think they're probably fine salary cap-wise.  The potentially bigger issue is if they have enough international roster spots.

What I was considering is that expansion teams get a ton of allocation money in year one to get the team going but that sum of money goes away in year two.

@Steve Taskeralert.  I am very happy with this move as a Revs fan.  I figured the Revs would likely want to start Cody Cropper in net this year and Femi was a big mistake to leave unprotected to begin with.

I'm hearing @NERevolution dealing Bobby Shuttleworth to @MNUFC for Femi-Hollinger Janzen. Revs lighten GK logjam, gives Loons another vet GK

All of us wish Bobby nothing but the best. Great contributor to the club and influential during our 2014 run. Happy to welcome Femi back.

They were crazy at last year's European Championship.  My favorite part was their attire; I remember seeing a couple of them shirtless, with jean jorts & fanny packs  :lmao: , brutally assaulting some Ainglish blokes.
Yeah, you see someone dressed like that coming toward you, you KNOW he don't give a ****.  Run away.

I'm hooked again on Vice... lost me for a bit with all the stoner stuff (and i was a heck of a stoner in my day), but the hate your neighbor, noisey and two-guy (desu and menudo... somthing liked that) nightly make fun of whitey and the news shows are pretty great.

I watched part of that show you linked the other night before crashing.

I insist you watch "F***, That's Delicious!"  Sure, there is some partaking of the herb, but it mainly focuses on the "culinary" aspect, & it's absolutely hilarious.

I find it idiotic, gb. that and action bronson watching aliens. I "get" it. just don't find it funny or interesting. if I were high... maybe.

ugh. Ali Curtis has left the RBs as sporting director... I don't think it's any coincidence that the club has done well under him- hopefully they can keep the ship pointed in the right direction.

I had not realized that there was friction between him and the front office.  I wonder what the real story is here as it is near impossible to complain about the on field results especially considering his budget.

Here are some details where Curtis seems to take the high road in what ever occurred.  Assuming the back story is not horrendous in regards to Curtis, it would be shocking if some MLS team does not grab him in the next 6-9 months.

The former U.S. national team captain is out as head coach of USL side FC Cincinnati after just one season in charge, sources tell Goal.

Since FC Cincinnati launched as a USL expansion team a year ago, the team has been led by head coach John Harkes, a man who had come to be synonymous with the thriving club and its record-setting crowds.

Those crowds will have a new coach to cheer for though, as Harkes' tenure with Cincinnati has come to an end. Sources told Goal  on Friday that Harkes had been replaced as manager by assistant coach Alan Koch, with the club confirming the moves Friday night.

Sources say that a power struggle between Harkes and FC Cincinnati president and general manager Jeff Berding led to the abrupt coaching change, which caught players and staff by surprise, especially since Harkes was coaching the team as recently as Thursday.

Harkes could not be reached for comment when Goal attempted to contact him on Friday afternoon.

“After careful consideration of what is in the best interest of the FC Cincinnati organization, I have decided to relieve John Harkes of his duties as FCC head coach, effective immediately," Berding said in a team statement.

Y'all notice that Ligue 1 is by far the most competitive big league this season? Chelsea, Real, Juve, and Bayern are running away with the titles right now, but PSG is in 3rd, and those top 3 are all really tight.  I pay approximately zero attention to the French teams. Anyone know what's going on there?

Hate to see these kind of internal struggles play out - hope it does not spill over into the fantastic support the club got from the community.

I wonder if this will impact Cincinnati's chances with MLS.

Full draw

Chelsea v United

Middlesbrough v Huddersfield/Man City

Totts v Millwall

Sutton/Arsenal v Lincoln
Millwall has now beaten three consecutive Premier League teams, with some classic Millwall ugliness in the second against Watford. Its probably less than an hour from Millwall to White Hart Lane - not an easy day.

Chelsea hosting United will be great.
