@rustycolts

I think this is the first step to him being named the new Orlando coach

=================================

OFFICIAL: Oscar Pareja, in agreement with the director of the Xolos of Tijuana, ceases to be the coach of the team.

I leave for a week and Mourinho's at Spurs and Poch is at Arsenal (wait for it).  Thankfully United still suck.  (Rumors of my permanent demise were greatly exaggerated!)

Also, this guy is worth a follow.  Posts fun old stuff daily.  The Pearce goal here is better than the outside-the-box, outside-of-the-boot one Ox scored earlier this year.

Oh damn, I guessed wrong.  I thought the alias who said goodbye in the US thread (I assumed after being banned on his real id) was you.  Glad to see I was wrong.

But now I have no idea who it was.....

MLS trades are better than porn

=========

[Nashville SC] “TRADE: We have acquired the second overall selection in today’s 2019 @MLS Re-Entry Process, Stage 1 from @WhitecapsFC in exchange for the 25th overall 2019 Re-Entry Stage 1 selection and a second-round selection in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft.”

Lewondowski response after not scoring for the first time this season last week?  4 goals in 15 minutes today in a Champions League game.

Insane.

Ahh, it is much clearer now why Zlatan got paid peanuts in his first year in MLS.

Today it was announced he has become 1/4 owner of Hammarby, which of course is partially owned by AEG (owners of the Galaxy).  They must have used a similar type of contract incentive that they used with Beckham.

Which explains that Twitter post yesterday

Looks like Sancho is planting all the normal seeds of a guy who wants out this winter.   I assume numerous EPL teams are tracking him closely.  He is going to cost a mountain of money.

This smells like the Fire trying to make a splash for next seasons move back to Chicago

28-year-old Mexican International striker Alan Pulido in the last hour: "Most likely, I'm going to MLS. There are important teams that want me there.”

Rooney has already started coaching for Derby this past weekend.  He will be eligible to start playing in January but I don't know what his fitness level is.

My crew has tix to the following matches:

June 14: NED - UKR (Amsterdam).  We will sell these 4 tickets.
June 14: ENG - CRO (London).  We will keep these 8 tickets.
June 15: ??? - CZE (Glasgow).   We will keep these 4 tickets and buy 4 more tickets.
June 15: POL - ??? (Dublin).  We will sell these 4 tickets.
June 19: SWE - ??? (Dublin). We will sell these 4 tickets.
June 23: CZE - ENG (London).  We will keep these 4 tickets.  Possibly add more.
June 23: CRO - ??? (Glasgow).  We will sell these 4 tickets.

Current plan is to add the following match for which we have 0 tickets:

June 18: DEN - BEL (Copenhagen)

Finally, there is some debate on whether to go for the June 20: POR - GER match in Munich or the June 22: ??? - NED match in Amsterdam.  Could also do the June 20: ESP - POL match in Bilbao.  Lots of airports and stadiums this coming summer...

This is likely to be an adults only trip, so if someone would like to look after my twins for 10 days, I'd be happy to drop them off, KTHX.

That looks fantastic.  What a trip.  The one thing I would say is that if either Ireland or Northern Ireland qualify from group E and get slotted into either one of those Dublin dates, you pretty much have to go.

Where are you buying the tickets?

Yes, good point on the Dublin matches. As none of us have Irish heritage, and most have been to Dublin before, it holds little interest to go there. Copenhagen is the opposite, no one has really been, so it seems interesting.

We plan to buy / sell on the secondary market, but that's TBD.

Nothing like a good derby for a 3rd rd fa cup draw in the midst of one heck of a fixture list for Pool.  Pool needs an EPL title.  Not sure they prioritize this one with their top lineup, but being Everton, they  might.  Guess it depends on who they play around this game.

United Wolves has a draw written all over it.

:censored:  woodward.  United needs a MF badly.  The talent is there except for a MF.  McT and Pogba will be nice to have back.  Perreira and Lingard are past their sell dates.  Fred was showing signs with McT but can't do it without him.  Ed left Ole out to dry expecting no injuries and not buying more mf in the summer.  They need someone in the middle who can take over and control a game, take someone on and win.  Pogba is that when he wants to be.  McT is the destroyer.  Hard tackles good work rate solid passer and scorer.  Needs a playmaker to link Pobga to the front 3.  Or a better holder allowing Pogba to be the 10....

This one is a doozy...

Santos had been injured previously by the West Brom player he attempts to kill.  Sheffield United were down a man already during the events above, as their keeper had been sent off.

Neil Warnock apparently believed that the game would be abandoned and replayed if enough of his players were red carded or injured.  And it in fact WAS abandoned with Sheffield U down to SIX men (three red cards, two injuries), but the score stood.

In slow mo that was incredible.  Neymar needs to study this footage to see what a body is suppose to look like flying in the air :)

Holy crap.  The franchise fees are growing exponentially.  I refuse to call it a pyramid scheme but some day, by definition, there is going to be one last person in the door as an owner....

https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2019/12/02/mls-will-announce-decision-on-expansion-team-in.html

"David Tepper, owner of the Panthers, is expected to pay an entry fee of $300m to $325m if Charlotte lands the 30th MLS team... The two most recent expansion additions, St. Louis and Sacramento (California), are each paying $200 million entry fees"

Anyone else listening to 25 Stories that Made the MLS podcast? The hosts are two brothers, who aren’t awesome, but they pick some pretty good stories. Those of you with a deeper knowledge of MLS history might not learn as much as I have, but it’s worth a shot.

Take with a Grain of Salt but according to the Telegraph UK Ibra has said yes to Milan rest of the season come January. Report could be wrong on all accounts but Ibra is expected to give Milan a decision sometime this week.

Who would know if any bars in San Francisco are open for a 7 a.m. London Derby?
Check with the local supporters groups. I know in Philly we got a few Serie A Supporter groups with different meeting spots and usually for matches against one another invite the other to their hangout

well.... United host Tottenham tomorrow and the return of Jose then because of course, the Manchester Derby is on the weekend.

Cant wait for Dec 15ths relegation battle match with Everton.

Crystal Palace, after scoring a goal while down to 10 men today in their win over Bournemouth, are sitting in 5th place. They've scored 14 goals in 15 games.

Excellent!  Not yet confirmed as original plan was in the tenderloin.  Will take advice on that too though  ;)
OMG JAYSUS HI!!! Don't stay in the Tenderloin unless maybe you want to visit Mitchell brothers. Wait, I may have to wake up early and drive down and watch with you :banned:

Jaysus> Keezar Pub or Mad Dog in the Fog in the Haight area or if you stay in the TL then San Fran Athletic club. Maybe @JZilla will come watch soccer with me if I wake up and go down there.

Go to the sf Italian athletic club in North Beach and just start ringing the bell. Tell them floppo who used to play for them sent you, but pronounce it "woppo" for extra surprise.
