Man U really has to be kicking themselves. All they had to do was not wet the bed in the last 18 minutes on Tuesday and they still have a chance to finish 4th.

I'm happy for them.  I honestly don't understand why West Ham would care.  They had Europa this past year and Bilic played the kids and barely tried.

I suppose he may have felt that they weren't ready to play multiple competitions, but I can't imagine another season would make much of a difference.  Hopefully Southampton represents the EPL a little better and puts a good team out there in Europe.

 
8th a disappointing overall EPL season for LIV, but it will all be worth it with a win on Wednesday.  The final has an all-or-nothing feel to it.  A win and the season is a massive success, a loss and it's a pretty disappointing year, although the future is bright either way.

My apologies.  I switched laptops and completely forgot about that league for a long time. Then I was too lazy to bother trying to mount a comeback.

I can save you a lot of heartache on this count... believe it when you see it on the field.  Don't ever assume things will just fall into place.  The EPL is a deep league -- with a minimum of four teams that can win the league in any given year.  And that doesn't count surprises like Leicester City or Tottenham.

I like what Klopp's done so far and the CL would be massive, but they could get a lot better and still finish 5th every year for the next five years.  Until proven otherwise they're an 8th place team.

Their poor late-season form is going to raise a lot of questions for Spurs.   They definitely need more attacking options but their defense had been a strength.  It'll definitely be an interesting summer.

It should raise questions about the squad depth - but that was already in question when they rotated heavily for the Dortmund match and were run off the field.

Poch did say in his post-game presser, that today's performance made some of the summer decisions easier.

Spurs also played the last two games without Alli and Dembele - two of the key players in the spine.  (I don't think they lost a game that Dembele started all season).  So, it was still a disappointing collapse, and they need better replacements for Alli and Dembele, but they will be fine next season.

I know I'm a young fan, but I think Klopp is the best manager in the EPL, aside from possibly Pep.

When you have a top manager, good talent and plenty of money to spend, it's a recipe for success.  The last decade is quite irrelevant at the moment.

I won't argue the point, because that's pointless, but every soccer pundit I've read agrees that the future with Klopp is extremely bright and I'm in total agreement.

Spurs had a great year.  A few solid additions and a summer of optimism will put the irrelevant 3rd place finish in the rear view.  Pocchetino, Kane and Alli are all major reasons for optimism in 2016-2017.

So for finishing 1st, Leicester will end up with the 5th highest revenue share from the TV contracts - Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham, Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea.

Some of the revenue is split equally - £55M per team, each league position is worth £1.2M, each TV appearance is worth £750k - Leicester only had 15 TV appearances, while Arsenal had 27.

possibly Pep? I guess it depends on what you're basing best on but what Koeman has been doing at Southampton is more impressive than Klopp at Scouserville.

Der Kloppster hasn't been there long enough to judge him fairly yet. The great work he did at Dortmund counts for a lot, I think. But One Ronald Koeman is a very capable guy who will get looks from some really big clubs and he's almost a lock to be offered the Dutch national job in the near future, according to general footy gossip.

 
Liverpool's best right now is certainly better than their best in recent years outside of that time Suarez put the whole team on his shoulders and Sturridge stayed healthy.  And they look like they have an identity, which is a change from Rodgers at least.  But the defense has been leaky and they're still inconsistent when they aren't on the main stage.  Too early to say much about Klopp the EPL manager IMO.

Pep will be fine at City where he can outspend people. That's what he's used to 

Pep couldn't handle the MLS All Stars being rough, wait until Grujic breaks Sterling in half

PS, I like Koeman, but he's been there going on three years. Klopp has -0- of his own players in the team right meow and is in line to win a European Cup. I think Klopp will be fine

For those that are going to be going to Atlanta United games, there is some good news from a cost basis.  It looks like Arthur Blanc decided to use a different concession model in the new stadium than almost ever other stadium in the country uses.

As such the concession for Falcons and United games are going to be amongst the cheapest in the country.  Here is a sampling of the prices

Lol @ this Klopp love fedt. He was terrible at Dortmund last year and Liverpool finished lower this year than any with Rodgers. You people are crazy. He's not even a top 5 manager in the epl. He's Roberto Martinez 2.0 People love him as a person so they think him a great manager. He's not.

I like the model too but the owner does take on more risk.  In a typical model, you simply rent the concession space and then the renter has to jack up prices to cover said rent.  The owner gets a non variable supply of revenue.

In Blanc's model, the revenue they generate will be variable based on how much they sell.  I hope it works well enough for other stadiums to adopt.

My Revs tickets are amazingly cheap but the concessions are so over the top expensive that any family that purchases things is likely spending much more on snacks than the actual tickets.

Looking at Atlanta United's ticket prices, they look like they could have the best of both world, in affordable tickets and affordable snacks.  I have no idea what parking will be though.

I'm just looking at results. Finished 7th in Bundesliga last year and 8th in EPL this year. The only reason people like him so much is that he is a GIF machine.  

You go ahead and take Shader's side on this. See how that works out for you.
