After getting killed at Fulham yesterday Huddersfield is in third place with a minus one goal differential.

Leeds now only a point out of a playoff spot.

More a question.

I know Ozil's been great.  Aguero? DeBruyne?  Who's been better than PC?  Keep the GKs out of it to keep it simpler.
How are you measuring?

Costa, Aguero, Lukaku, and Sanchez would be in the conversation if you are just talking attacking players.  There are a number of MFers who play their role as well as or better than Coutinho plays his - Henderson comes to mind on his own team.  Defenders who have played well include Koscielny, Alderweireld, and Vertonghen.

Coutinho is a very one-dimensional player.  He plays that dimension very well, but if you were starting up a team, not sure he is a top-5 pick...

Huh.  Look at that.

Coutinho the highest rated player this season in the EPL per whoscored.

Not sure why the link doesn't go to the right place.  But scroll to the bottom and set it to seasonal and PC is leading the pack -- marginally ahead of Sanchez.

ETA:  Firmino and Mane in the first team as well.

Wow, someone opened a big jar of hatorade up in here. Looking forward to updated Shaderrankings® this week. Is there any way to keep LFC out of the #1 spot? I can't see anyone else at the top of the list this week.

Didn't take too long to sort things out this year -- top teams got to the top quickly.  Title odds:

City - 41%
Liverpool - 22%
Arsenal - 15%
Chelsea - 13%
Tottenham - 6%
United - 3%

No one else better than 250/1 right now.

No hate. Just having fun with GB Shader, who is a fairly easy target having been (is?) a Bama fan, too.

4 MLS games were played yesterday.

4 teams who received a bye vs 4 teams coming off of a short week.

The 4 teams with the extra rest and higher seed lost every game and none of the 4 scored even a single goal.  Granted all 4 of the rested teams had to travel for the first leg but still.........

RBs looked good in the loss... but yeah- still a loss.

1-0 is not horrible for the road leg imo.  NYR still have an excellent chance to advance.

I thought the real nut buster yesterday was the late goal by TFC against NYC.  The difference between losing 1-0 and 2-0 can be so huge in these two legged affairs.  One road goal by TFC next week makes it so much harder for NYC to advance.  And Toronto is tough to shut out.  I think it is something like 22 out of the last 24 games they have scored at least one goal.

Victor Moses imo. Unstoppable
He was solid yesterday. That whole damn team was. Saints were outclassed, Blues conceded possession (which was actually kinda cool because I didn't spend the whole game frightened to death of Hazard and Costa on the ball) but were impenetrable defensively and clinical in the forward end when they had their chances. Ugh for me but it was impressive.

plus his team is way down in 4th... does he even help them?
As Shady is the Force, you have done well to channel it. If used properly, the Jedi Mind Trick (bent  to the Force of Shader) can convince all others that Liverpool is indeed the greatest team, & all others are merely sycophants blindly supporting their weakling, floundering BPL "contenders", while only the Merseyside faithful truly Walk Alone, above all others.

I was extremely hungover after our annual epic Halloween party we hosted Saturday night, so appreciated the late kick-off. Conte and Chelsea had a pretty good October (4 wins and 4 clean sheets in the league with 11 goals scored) after a disappointing start. For me, taking full points at St. Mary's is the most impressive result of that run, even moreso than 4-0 over United. That is always such a tough game. The fact that he's incorporated Moses into his 3-4-3 is one of the most impressive and interesting developments. We've always loved him, but after 3 failed loans the past 3 seasons, I don't think anyone expected to see him getting regular starts for Chelsea this year. But he's been excellent - a true chalk-on-his-boots wingback seems to be the perfect role for Moses. Oscar and Fabregas may both be looking to move this winter.

Assuming from your username & posts that you are not a Semite, why all the love for this Moses fellah?  C'mon guy, let's not expect him to extract water from a rock, or fire from a bush...what you see is what you get.  He's drab, on a good 2gamebender.
