Seattle crushed SJ last night. They went up 5-0 after only 33 minutes. It was only the 3rd time in league history a team scored 5 goals in the first half and they were the first to do it by 33 minutes.

Given NBC has stashed so many PL games on 'Peacock', what's the best way to stream games for free now?
Ask permission to get Peacock...
(Seriously though, of all the streaming platforms(NBC, ESPN, CBS, B/R, etc), Peacock was my favorite in terms of quality)

I got set up with the Peacock yesterday. $5 / month is an easy decision if the alternative is hunting around for illegal streams. Had to side load it onto my fire stick, but it that was pretty easy - this coming from a tech neophyte.

I used it this summer for free. Never gave them any cc info and now it seems to be working. We'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.

To be really fair, I think Spurs will be disappointed in Morgan, and I think Morgan will be disappointed in Spurs.
Spurs Community is going a little overboard in hyping this signing, but at 31, Morgan is no longer the force she was in her prime. And, even with Morgan, Spurs are still a mid-table squad in the Women's league, a full step below the Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man City's of the world. (It was only a few years ago that Spurs were a semi-pro team...)

If you sideload it onto the fire stick, aren't you going to have to mirror it every broadcast?
Comcast, owner of NBC/Peacock, is making it very difficult for me to do this since I'm a....wait for it...Comcast subscriber.
Current setup is I stream Comcast TV without set top box over Roku. Feed comes from my Comcast internet. Roku plugged a Denon HEOS receiver connected to a 12 year old "dumb" TV.
I have tried casting things from my laptop to the Roku before and the results are very choppy. Not sure if there are too many hops along the way or if I need to use a better casting app than the built in Win10 casting.
Back to Comcast. They will give me Peacock for free if I had Xfinity X1 (which I don't have because I don't want a set top box) or Flex (which is like a wireless Roku). Cost for the Flex is...4.99 a month.
Sigh.

They have a free version, but you'll need the lowest level paid version to get the games.

Press is 31 and Heath is 32. All three can still play though although Morgan is coming off having a baby. 1 year deals I believe, so its not bad for either side. Can't speak to the Spurs Women, but United's women are up and coming. Could help challenge.
Totteham may be looking more for the splash and the name then anything. She will bring some looks.

I have to admit I don't know what this means. I used a youtube video and just followed the directions. The app seems to be working. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if I can watch via the fire stick or not.

You'll be fine. I believe when you say you sideloaded the app, it just means you installed it from a vendor that is not Amazon. Should work just like any other app.

Yeah, I found some instructions and got it sideloaded onto my Fire Stick. Thanks.
And yes my Peacock subscription is free since I set it up through Comcast link.

I also don't want a set top box, but I'm struggling to find anything that Redzone and Bein together. Right now it looks like FuboTv is the best bet, but it is a bad app and I would lose the NBA playoffs on TNT. Very frustrating how segmented and expensive the content market has become.

Seems every year Everton does some good transfer business and you wonder if they will knock on the door to challenge the top 6. Is this their year?
Wolves and Everton could make this very interesting, esp if Leicester gets back to prelockdown form.
Leeds looks the part of this year's Sheffield.
How will Sheffield do after losing their keeper?
Will Tottenham experience 3rd year Jose instead of 2nd year Jose?
Will United buy the players they need to compete on all fronts and challenge the top?

No, they win the transfer window every year, and still end up in the middle of the pack.
I still have hopes that this might be the year they finally go down (as I do every year). As soon as Carlo decides to pack his bags they are done for (I hope).

I have another rule question.
I was always under the impression that in non own goal situations, that the last offensive player to touch the ball before it went in the net was credited as the goal scorer.
Yesterday in the German Cup, Dortmund's Gio Reyna hit a free kick that ever so slightly deflected off his team mate Witsel and went in the net. As far as I can tell, Gio is the official goal scorer even though the ball clearly touch Witsel on the way through.

I think the rule applies equally - but on OG situations the shooter gets the goal if the shot was considered "on target" even if the keeper would have made the save.
So, my assumption is the same for offensive deflections - if the shot was on target, and it was not intentionally struck by the attacking player, the shooter gets the goal.

Probably not as nice as in Madrid...
But, it seems as though Spurs are getting a 2-for-1 deal with Madrid - Bale + Reguilon for (maybe) Dele going back the other way.
The Reguilon aspect seems about done, and I think at this stage Spurs are the only escape for Bale, so I expect it will get done - and sending Dele to Madrid will help make up some of the cost.

I'll take it. Dele hasn't looked right for a bit. Not sure why. Not crazy about Bale but would make Spurs a clear second in EPL for wingers.
Spurs also need to sign another damn striker.

All week its been Reguilon to United, personal terms agreed and just working out fee with RM. United don't want buy back clause or pre-emption clause and of course offering under the 30m fee.Now Tottenham come in with the 30m and will allow both clauses to be included. Its down to whether the player wants to play for Tottenham or not.
Effing United can't just get a deal done. Got to tip toe around and play games. Reguilion and Sancho should have been in and training long before now.Color me a skeptic but I think the Reguilon inclusion is playing games. Spurs don't need a left back at all, and just paid $30 million or so for Sessegnon last year. Levy doesn't spend frivolously. They also have Davis and Aurier at full back and just signed Doherty. Posturing like this drives the price up for United. Sure, maybe it is true, and Dele going back to Real Madrid would make a lot of sense as far as salary trade off, but everyone in the world knows you can get Bale from MAdrid for a song right now. Same with Barca guys like Suarez. Reguilon could be the sweetener needed to get it complete, but I just don't see Spurs paying another $30 million here.

This was a team that Poch led to the CL final, and it has completely come undone - Levy has made a few poor decisions when it comes to the squad, and is now backed into a corner.
I think Bale is the actual target here - but if you bring in Bale, it means Spurs have to change tactics, and will need a more attacking LB than Ben Davies. Sessegnon is not viewed as a LB - he is more-or-less a back up to Son at LW.

Tottenham have a made an official bid to Real Madrid for Sergio Reguilon, as @David_Ornstein reported. Manchester United are in talks by days with Real but *won't* accept to pay €30m and *won't* accept any the "buy back clause" asked by the Spanish club. #MUFC #THFC
Today afternoon, Tottenham made an official bid for €30m to Real for Reguilon. #THFC have accepted also the "buy back clause" and the "pre-emption clause" [refused both by #MUFC], so Real Madrid can match any other bid in the future to bring back Reguilon. #MUFC #THFC
Reguilon deal is not completed yet - battle is on, but Tottenham have an agreement with Real Madrid and are now working to agree personal terms with the player. Man United have the "ok" by Reguilon by days, but there's *no* agreement with Real. #THFC hope to convince him.
If Tottenham will complete Reguilon deal, they’ll 100% include both the clauses that Real Madrid asked. Man Utd are totally against any clause/losing player in future #THFC #Reguilon

Also - this is not entirely true.
Bale is on ~£600k/week wages - with favorable tax treatment in Spain. He wants his wages - and is happy to collect them in Madrid and play golf.
RM would be happy for a team to take Bale off their books - but it won't be cheap by any stretch.
I think they are semi-connected - i.e. if Spurs get Bale, they need a more attacking LB - because they will have to switch tactics to fit Bale into the line-up.
Its not that both deals are dependent upon the other - just a shift in tactics requiring different personnel.

And while left back isn't a priority for United, getting a true attacking one like this, that is young not overpriced and supposedly wants to be at United, would be a good move. He would push Shaw and allow Williams to move to his more natural right side to backup AWB .

Obviously I dont know a thing about backroom soccer dealing, but I dont understand how Ed Woodward has a job.
They haven't won anything significant in years and EVERY big time deal they go in on drags and drags and drags. And he's wasted SOOO much money on incredibly mediocre players that are nothing more than JAG's at that level.
I know its not ALL him, but man that dude is just NOT a closer.

I don't follow Man United much at all - but I would guess this is mostly a Glazer issue, and less a Woodward issue.

Part of it is Joel Glazer holding the strings. The bigges reason Woodward has a job is all the sponsorship money they have coming in. He has so much from licensing and sponsors coming in, they won't get rid of him. He makes the owners a ton of money.
What they need to do is let EW concentrate on those deals and get a director of football in to handle transfers.
Saw a graphic earlier that I can't find now, but it showed the investment by EPL teams owners. City, LP, Chelsea, etc have all invested money into the club. United's owners have taken money out. Arsenal's too.

Yeah, that's pretty damning. Pretty clear they see the team as a money making business first, second and third with winning trophies as a potentially nice benefit.
