i have now used every player on my roster with the exception of Leinart and P Dawson. got to figure whenever dawson returns i will get points out of him so so far it has been a pretty solid use of my budget across the board.

i have also scored in the 140s every single week but one. nothing sexy but just plodding along not getting eliminated.

L Washington out hurts, but the emergence of B Wells is coming just in time.

Could all 4000 current survivors please check in-I want to size up my competiton.:joking:
Checking in - nothing spectacular about my roster, as I mentioned above, this is my first week in the top 4000 all season. No real weaknesses, though I am down to Hasselbeck at QB with Hill's benching. But, no real strengths either. No more bye issues - I do have 5 players out week 9, but they are Laurent Robinson, James Davis, Chas Schillens, and then Sidney Rice and Ryan Longwell - I will have 5 WRs and two kickers active, so I am comfortable without Rice and Longwell, and the other 3 have not helped all season. For me to do well long term, I obviously need Hasselbeck to play well and stay healthy.

I'll check in as well, although the Chris Cooley injury has sent me reeling a bit. I have Owen Daniels as well and the two were working nicely, but without a third TE I am going to be biting my nails in week 10 when I have to roll with a 0.

That is if I can get to week 10.

Happy with my team.....James Davis was my only complete miss. Edge has saved me once this season from elimination. Rivers has been consistently good, although I hope for some big weeks. Hill at least made it through River's bye week. DeAngelo, Grant, and Rice are rock solid at RB. Moss, Colston, Mason are solid WR's, and Nicks, Henry, Meachem are good fill ins. TE's a bit disappointing, but Shiancoe is coming on.

QB - Philip Rivers, Shaun Hill, Matt Leinart

RB - DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Grant, Ray Rice, Ladell Betts, James Davis, Edgerrin James

WR - Randy Moss, Marques Colston, Chris Henry, Derrick Mason, Hakeem Nicks, Robert Meachem

TE - Visanthe Shiancoe, Jermichael Finley, Chris Baker

K - Ryan Longwell, Dan Carpenter, Steve Hauschka

D/ST - Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys

All my core players byes over... RB depth is my concern with only 4 left, one of them being Edge...

QB - Rodgers

RB - DeAngelo / Rice

WR - DeSean / Vincent Jax / Mason

TE - Dallas Clark

K - Gould / Lindell / Reed

D - Packers / Seattle

Flex options... Bradshaw / Harvin / Nicks / Olsen / Carlson

Others people left are Delhomme / Leinart / Edge / Chaz / Devone

Overall like my team, still like the 3 good TE strategy, obviously wish I would have put Daniels in that mix though.

I really wanted to have Beanie on my roster and figured he'd be a great 2nd half player as he eventually became the starter. He could be a great player to have in this contest going forward.

Well, I survived Ray Rice's and Derrick Mason's bye week. I think this is the week I exit though, with Randy Moss and Cedric Benson on bye. I've used their scores all 7 weeks so far.

I know this doesn't mean anything, but just for s&g, here are cumulative totals for the remaining teams:

Top scoring team is avg'ing 185 pts per week.

I agree that value and depth at the TE position was hard to pass on. I took 4 TE's (H Miller, K Boss, Findley and C Baker) totaling $19 and they have counted as my flex player 5 out of the 7 weeks. Have average 160 pts a week so far.

Slid through this week. I did a query on the top 4 scorers on my team and I am the only team with those four remaining. So I've got that going for me.

2771 on the cumulative scoring list. I really can't believe I'm still alive in the contest, but I guess one good thing is I've kept a 24 active player roster to this point and the injuries around the league have helped my roster. All but Patrick Turner ($1) have figured for me as well. I think I'll probably survive one more week because I'm bye week lite this week, but I figure I'll be gone fairly soon thereafter. Team 113096 if anyone wants to look.

My only real chance of making a strong run would be a DeAngelo injury since I have Stewart, but I would never want that to happen since I own DeAngelo in a couple big money leagues and taking Stewart in this contest was sort of a hedge against that anyways.

Still in and feeling decent going forward...need some help at the RB position....McCoy starting this week would be HUGE for me. Solid depth at WR and QB and decent at TE. Week 10 could be interesting (if I make it) with Bradshaw, Steve Smith and Daniels off.

QB - Aaron Rodgers - 27

QB - Philip Rivers - 25

QB - Byron Leftwich - (no points likely going forward)

RB - Darren McFadden - (back soon?)

RB - Leon Washington - (out for year)

RB - Jerious Norwood - (back soon?)

RB - Ahmad Bradshaw - 8

RB - Kevin Faulk - 8

RB - LeSean McCoy - (starter week 8?)

RB - James Davis - (out for year)

WR - Vincent Jackson - 21

WR - Steve Smith - 12

WR - Chris Henry - 12

WR - Isaac Bruce - 5

WR - Nate Burleson - 5

WR - Percy Harvin - 5

WR - Davone Bess - 3

TE - Chris Cooley - (out for ?)

TE - Greg Olsen - 15

TE - Owen Daniels - 13

PK - Robbie Gould - 2

PK - Matt Prater - 2

TD - Minnesota Vikings - 6

TD - Green Bay Packers - 3

WOW... I can't believe I'm still alive. Total brain fart and didn't choose enough RB's and had top two on a bye Week 7.

This entry is still alive.

Good luck next week without Palmer, R. Moss, and Chris Henry.....Perhaps Hasselbeck can do something at QB for you. You are going to have to get good days out of 4 remaining WR's...DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, Derrick Mason, Robert Meachem. I think you only get 2 good weeks there. It will be interesting what chances the sim gives you, i think you maybe around 50-60%.

Yeah, this is my last rough bye week, but really it's not too bad...I'm guessing I'll be more like 80%.

ranked 1397 but I have no QB this week, I actually looked and there are some others in the same boat. Brady on bye week and my other qb's are benched or IR. without my qb points I would have continued in a little over half the weeks so far, so I am thinking this is my final week. if Not, i really like my team.

When does the week 8 prelim come out? I can't wait to see my percent chance of advancing. Last week, I was at 38% chance of survival!

I'm still standing but I'm dead man walking. With QBs of Schaub, Hill and Leftwich week 10 looms like a guillotine. Maybe Tampa will switch QBs again and give me a glimmer of hope.

With Leon out for the year, I'm not sure I have the artillery at RB to go the distance. Only have Jacobs, Grant, Betts and Edge left.

You came in at 61%.....I am at 80.1%...I am missing Moss, C. Henry, and I lost Shaun Hill as my backup QB, but I thought I would be a bit safer. Every week is getting tougher.

Congrats to everyone still kicking and clawing in the contest! We've made it past over 2/3 of the field. I remember orientation like it was yesterday. Look to your left and right. Two of you won't be here after 7 weeks.
