#163 in the Sim and #177 in the power. Only 1 significant bye left with Schaub in Week 10. As long as Cutler doesn't lay an egg @ SF I'll be in good shape
And what does Cutler do?.....he lays a big, fat, freakin' egg, the size of Chicago. :lmao: Goodbye everyone....it's been fun. :(
We have 88 teams with Cutler and most have him as their #1 QB.
that's me.. and now I have to hope Stafford has a good week at Minny if I have any hopes of moving on. Not. Looking. Good.
Stafford was actually looking good until he went on the interception spree. He was improving each week. He built a nice lead up last week. Then fell apart. Going on the road to Minny is not the place to get confidence back. On the plus side CJ, formerly known as Megatron, should be 100%.

what is the cut down to this week?
Week 1 trim to 12,000 teamsWeek 2 trim to 10,000 teamsWeek 3 trim to 8,500 teamsWeek 4 trim to 7,250 teamsWeek 5 trim to 6,100 teamsWeek 6 trim to 5,000 teamsWeek 7 trim to 4,000 teamsWeek 8 trim to 3,100 teamsWeek 9 trim to 2,300 teamsWeek 10 trim to 1,600 teamsWeek 11 trim to 1,000 teamsWeek 12 trim to 500 teamsWeek 13 trim to 250 teams

Two teams still alive with both ADP and MJD. One team has Palmer, Randy Moss, Harvin, Jennings, Dallas Clark, Meacham/HeapSecond team has Rivers, Driver, Berrian, Burleson, Dallas Clark, Maroney/Roy Williams/ShockeyThe team with Rivers has Culpepper as a back-up QB. He scraped by in Wk5 because Culpepper started and put up 23+ pts.
Dallas Clark is singlehandedly pushing teams forward.
LOL - that's another guy who deserves a 3-week concussion from Week 14-16! I say "deserves" because I wasn't smart enough to put him on my roster!
More and more, I am not sure I would want ANY Colt on my rooster after week 14.
Why not? They get their first Loss this week, and will have to play it out for home field.

Perhaps, but from someone who got blown out in the Super Bowl in 2005 because I had Harrison and Manning on my team, i say NEVER FORGET! If they Colts do get by NE this week, who is going to put pressure on them? I think the Colts go 15-1 and the next best team is at best 13-3.

Ugh, team is decimated but I'm hanging on... 677 in the sim for the week, but in the 1700s in the power rankings. Plus, my uniqueness quotient is near the bottom.

Down to one QB (Rodgers) with Leftwich benched.

RBs are a total mess... have Rice and Wells, but lost Washington, Edge, J. Davis and not getting much from Parker, F. Jones

Lost Henry and L. Robinson at WR... Crayton benched... need big numbers every week from some combo of Fitzgerald, V. Jackson, Mason, Harvin, J. Morgan

Finley's been hurt at TE... thankfully I have Clark.

So I started with 23 roster spots, and can only count on 14-15 of them every week. Going to be tight, no room for error!

No way I'm winning this, but it is fun trying to hang on week to week.

Those who have Clark and have been riding a nice wave (myself included) may be in for a tough week. Clark has typically not done much vs. NE.

I'm hoping for a shootout.

2nd year playing and I get into this more than my main $ league. Team is starting to look stronger if Royal and Wells keep getting the rock.

Only permanent zero is Chris Henry from a 24 man roster. This is getting good!!!

I have to believe I am done this week...no pts at te (daniels and finley). I have two qbs...shaulb and cutler and we all know how well cutler did. I do have gore thoough so i started with 25 pts or so...

I have lost Henry, James Davis, and Edge for the season. Shaun Hill is firmly on the bench. Not looking good for Matt Leinart, as Warner has been both good and healthy. James Finely and Chris Baker haven't seen the field in weeks and probably won't this week either. Down to 16 productive players, but I do like my remaining players a lot. Rivers, my loan starting QB is solid, but no depth to coverDeAngelo, Grant, Rice, Betts....I like these, should produce my flex scoreColeson, Moss, Mason, Nicks, Meachem...All solid starts, a bit thinShiancoe....just ok...much better TE's out there. Hope Baker and Finely can help soon.I will be lucky to make it to the 250, but competitive.

Bump for today, sim projected cut is about 148. Getting a little tough to have any slip-ups in the roster...
im doubting the cut gets that high this week.
Why? Last year the week ten cut was 153. There are only two teams on bye this week, and anyone left this far into the contest has a pretty strong team. I don't see why it wouldn't be in the 140s at least.
Hmmmm, guess you haven't looked at my roster lately. This week I have DeAngelo, Bush, Roddy, Percy, Bennett (5.7), and Meachem to cover my RB/WR slots. Celek or Heap will (hopefully) cover the flex. I think this is when I check out.

some huge scoring already. It might actually be higher than 150. :(

Actually scoring by popular players so far has been fairly low. Cut number after early games is only 65ish. I'd expect the Rodgers effect to bump scoring a fair amount depending on how he does though since he is on so many rosters.

Low scoring 1st half so far for Rodgers... and he just took another sack. With the pounding he's taking, it's not too hard to imagine him missing time at some point. With his high ownership, that could shake things up some.

Rodgers, DWil, KS, Jennings, Witten and Andree Johnsn all zero or basically zero - Ladell Betts did his part for me - now it's time for Chaz to step up (like 10 tds worth)

Still below 80 by halftime. This is kinda crazy! Top scorer isn't even to 170 yet...
I like it...keep it low. I am at 100 right now. I Should be able to get over 130 with Moss and Mason (0, -6.3) and Rice (-Grant), plus whatever Rivers adds to his score, but 148 is dicey.

That's really good to hear.BTW, the Fantasy Star doesn't seem to be picking up Chaz's scoring.
Good Catch. I'll make sure to post his score into the scoring database direct until we patch it. He's only got 3.8 as of right now...
It's been patched, sorry about that, you should see the correct score with the most recent update and moving forward it will be correct.

Had 8 receivers. Four of them are OUT.

My two main guys have been Austin and Burleson.

Add 1 more to the tally of those eliminated.

I hope Schilens creates a need for an update.

I only got 12 freaking positional players going for me this week. Roster down to 17 now. Ouch!!!!Its like im running from the cops but i know they gone get me....they got the bird in the air and the spike strips on the ground and im running on a quarter tank of gas.thats how i feel.....THE END IF COMING for me.
Ok the "one time" just pitted me and now got me boxed in. Im thinking about coming out shooting like Queen Latifa on "Set it Off".Just a matter of time now.

Wow, barring a miracle from Baker, I'm done at 130.75. Using Dodds' scoring, cut ends up just below 130 :goodposting:

Turk, please stay away tomorrow night! :lmao:

Believe it or not, the offensive juggernaut known as BAL v CLE is predicted to jump the cut about 14 points as opposed to under 10 for the IND v NE contest about to kickoff. Clark, Baker, and Moss are the big threats tonight, tomorrow we have Rice, Heap and Mason in that role. Things will really move with Rice, as currently 355 of the below the cut teams can use his help. The big reason tonight's game has such low predicted impact is that most of the players are on very few teams in general, while a lot of tomorrow's players are widely held. Since scoring is so low right now, most players posting even reasonable scores are moving the cut.

With only two games, 130 seems about right. No way we get to 148. I am at 120, but Moss and/or Mason will put me in safe territory. I guess someone is going to be screaming, "DEFENSE, DEFENSE".

Hard to believe players like Moss, Manning, Brady, Wayne, Clark, Watson are less owned than Rice, Heap and Mason. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I have Rice and Mason and only have Moss.

Essentially done at 142.35 (still have Hauschka but at -18), but it sounds like that might be enough. If so, I  Jason Avant! Celek again was awesome, Carpenter with 18 big points, the Bengals defense getting better and better.

Now let's clear out some VJax and Ocho owners...

Aside from Rice, the players I mentioned are about equally owned by players on the outside. The rest of tonights players though are on about 15-15 out teams. Tomorrow's players on BAL are all closer to 100 out teams, CLE has a bunch of players basically nobody owns except Davis.

Is it really hard to believe? With the exception of Watson and Clark, all those players are more expensive than Rice, Heap, and Mason. Hell, Moss, Manning, Brady, and Wayne all cost more than the combined price of the 3.

Unless Mason does something ridiculously huge I think I'm not going to survive Andre Johnson and Bradshaw's bye plus the Vince Jackson crash & burn if the cut is truly in the 130+ range.

WOW.... :goodposting:

with tonights stats and tomorrows projections, looks like about 132 for a cut.

See you all next year.... probably miss the cut by a point or 2...
