Yeah you aren’t wrong with this. It was more of national sports media and things being said on talk radio then actually in this threadWhere are these Pats fans that are getting salty?
Most of the comments of this type aren’t from pats fans. Not sure why we are getting dragged into this? MOST of the die hards I see in here have zero complaints about the outcome.

Gigantic point, and very poorly understood by fans -- and apparently some replay officials -- in the wake of Calvin Johnson, et al.
Not the NFL of course, but heck ... logically, a juggler is always in control of the balls.

I would never be friends with a Patriots fan, but one guy at work is from Boston and a huge fan and was very gracious, giving the Eagles all the credit. I'm sure he didn't mean any of it but he did a great job selling it.

Same at my work. One guy is a huge pats fan. He wasn't surprised. He thought they would lose. Hates their defense right now

We know damn well they all had the champagne ready with 2:21 left in the game. Brady has the ball and the Eagles hadn't made a stop in the second half. It looked like the typical Pats game where all the right adjustments were made and they had that final game-winning drive teed up like another day at the office. Anyone watching had to assume that was the outcome.

Disagree...yes, everyone thought Brady would score but if there was a half second left Philly was scoring...no one had confidence in that D once it was apparent any halftime adjustments were not gonna work...you forget that the Pats have been on the opposite side of quite a few great moments as have the other teams in this town...this was not one of those games where you felt something good happening...

Interesting, maybe I bought into the mystique too much, but I figured Brady & Belichick would work the clock and score with very little time left.

You just can not play D like that and deserve to win a championship...athough Philly’s D was no bargain the Pats D was a complete no-show...

I was shocked how well the oline played for the pats. I expected Brady to get sacked a few times. They played there ### off

The guy who’s absence killed them was Hightower...he is one of the only legit weapons they have on D...he can make plays and be a difference-maker as he was in the last 2 Super Bowl victories...without him you were asking guys to do stuff they were not capable of doing...unfortunately he is no stranger to injuries and they are beyond thin after him at LB...

I agree. If a runner changes the ball from his left arm to his right arm, slow it down and you could have still frames that look like he lost control. But the runner has not lost control. He's simply moving the ball in his possession.McGarnicle said:

i know a few other Pats fans in here thought that Brady as a WR was a poor call. i actually didn't mind it when BB called it, but i watched Sound FX on NFL network, and they show Brady getting hard and favoring his ribs significantly a few plays before that. seeing him banged up makes that play look much worse now, terrible time to try that if he is showing the effects of a big hit
and holy moly watching the hit Jenkins put on Cook is truly a defenders dream. hit looked clean, Cooks needs to know if he is going to dance around he needs to have his head on a swivel

maybe not, but they could (and should) have called the illegal contact when another WR was wiped out at the 25. AT worst the Patriots should have had another shot (from 40 yards out)

ya know I did see a penalty on a hail marry type play once, Detroit vs GB in infamous one. play before a phantom face mask called against Rodgers.
But generally I don't see it as being called.

Jimmy Graham has an OPI called on a game winning Hail Mary in NO. I remember cause he was on my team and I lost my #### when it was called.

Unfortunately, as you probably know, it seemed par for the course for the Lions. Even when they don’t shoot themselves in the foot, a terrible call is bound to happen.
Agreed that you rarely see any penalty thrown on a Hail Mary.

Just back from vacation in Tulum.
Watched the game in a bar on the resort. All but one PHI fan were great to watch with. Friendly back and forths throughout the game made it fun.
That one PHI fan was drunk and extremely obnoxious. Even other PHI fans were uncomfortable. Oh well, there's always one regardless of the team / city.
I couldn't hear most of the commentary and I haven't watched, listened to, read, any post game reports.
Bossman's post game analysis:
- Patriots defense was / is bad. I said it before the game (just ask Anarchy). Bunch of nobodies.
They were lucky that they only had to go thru crappy offensive teams in TEN and JAX to get there.
Brady did his job, gave the Pats the lead 33 / 32 and the turds on defense couldn't do anything to preserve it. Swiss cheese. Bend ...and then break.
- I give credit to Foles. Played extremely well (again). Can't blame him for that fluky INT. ... and I give a TON of credit to Doug Pederson.
Very aggressive coaching, going for it on 4th downs and nearly flawless clock management. Other coaches would have played it safe on 4th downs .... and lost.
- Patriots offense was great as usual. I completely expected NE to score 7 on the next to last drive. PHI defense hadn't done much for me to expect otherwise. Then the strip sack.
Pats did a good job mixing in the run and slowing down the pass rush ... but with time running out, down by 5, the run threat was gone and PHI was able to pin ears back and go. NE offensive line played as well as could be expected.
- Just tons of mistakes by NE. Very un-Patriots like. Missed tackles all over the field, dropped passes (yes Bradys drop was HUGE) and a missed FG and XP didn't help. 4 points would have been huge at the end of the game.
- As is often the case, the team with the better defense won the game.
Congrats to PHI. Was a long time coming and you have a great team that should be in the mix for many more seasons to come.

i've watched the game at least 10 times already. Watching the Mic'd Up/SoundFx on NFL Network is really telling. biggest one is even though the Eagles weren't getting sacks, they were hitting Brady on almost every pass play. I think it caught up to him in the 4th
and man, i didn't like it last off-season, but Rex Burkhead and Dion Lewis should be illegal. Those are 2 of the nastiest runners to watch, and combine that with the surprising power James White can run with they should run ore then they do
ETA: Pats caught a good break on the Amendola fumble in the late 3rd, early 4th. Didn't hear a whistle to call the play dead, and the ball was stripped before he went out of bounds. Thankfully it didn't matter

holy cow, if NE scored with an illegal formation we would have never heard the end of "the refs are pro-Patriots" .. "Pats cant win without the refs"... bla, bla, bla.
Any other team "didn't effect the play" ... which it didn't. Just wish people would get over the refs favor NE thing.

Who cares if he checked in. Ref’s still got it wrong. It doesn’t matter at this point but the Eagles benefitted from the ref’s on that play.

You don't think maybe Kelsey cocked the ball before the snap? I see the gray line at the 1.5 and Jeffery's foot (at most) at the 3. You think that ball's half a yard in front of the gray line? Its less than a ball length.
