"Kind of"?LOL...I can't believe on a night when the Giants pulled off the (near) impossible, people on this board are fixating on something to hate Belichick for; it's kind of ridiculous.

My guess is he's not back next year. You have a choice between no-drama, solid production Kevin Boss and high-drama, no production (except for one game) Shockey? Easy choice.Agreed. Why wasn't Shockey on the sidelines?JHow's the studio Tiki? Speak up ....can't hear you. #####It's nice of ex-Giant TE Jeremy Shockey to make the trip to take in the game.
No. He was in a luxury box.Jhe's probably in MiamiAgreed. Why wasn't Shockey on the sidelines?JHow's the studio Tiki? Speak up ....can't hear you. #####It's nice of ex-Giant TE Jeremy Shockey to make the trip to take in the game.
Chris Meyers looks intimidated interviewing Bill.

I also thought the tip of the ball touched the ground. Hopefully there will be a clear replay available online. That's odd, because the replay I saw showed him taking a hand off the ball and the tip of it hitting the ground.Wasn't reviewed because it was a clear catchYesno?Did that even get reviewed? How is that a catch? The most important play in NFL history doesn't even merit a cursory look? The league should be ####### ashamed of themselves for that.
I can't believe it either. How can you fixate on just one thing when there is so much to hate Belichick for.LOL...I can't believe on a night when the Giants pulled off the (near) impossible, people on this board are fixating on something to hate Belichick for; it's kind of ridiculous.
Congrats to all Giant fans on their team's victory. I'm a Patriot fan and have watched pro football for 40 +years and Steve Spagnoulo and Co. put together and executed one of the finest defensive game plans I've ever seen. of course Eli made plays when he had to. One concern I've had, especially in the postseason, was the lack of the Patriot pass "D" to stop offenses. Bottom line,..again it proves DEFENSE WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Congrats again to the Giants and fans....
Great posting.oh, I just always assume he's there. Missed thatNo.
I dont think this was best super bowl in last 5 years... or last 10. Rams Pats, Titans Rams, Pats Panthers all better IMO.Eli did get job done.. wonder where you bandwagon E-COLI Giants fans are now? Probably same ones who bashed guy all season long and wanted to fire Coughlin. Posting on here...Wow. Just Wow. Best Super Bowl in the past 10 years. This is/was what we hope for when we watch an NFL game.Nice job Eli. Out of Peyton's shadow...

Look at all the classless people here tonight.![]()
I'm front and center, although it was an innocent accident about the Belichick thingAll Bill needed to do was stay on the filed until the clock hit 0:00. You know, like all of the other opposing coaches did against the Pats this year.Look at all the classless people here tonight.![]()
I think it would be tough to see a TE that's a better receiver than you succeeding at the highest level. Not to mention this Giant team didn't take off until he left.Agreed. The only ones that thought that was not a catch are Patriot fans. I can't even believe people can come up with anyway to say that it wasn't a catch.Doesn't matter if the ball was controlled before and throughout, which it was. What is your opinion as to whether there was interference on that play?I also thought the tip of the ball touched the ground. No.Anyone think Philip Rivers could have done that?J
Which catch is being discussed here?It didn't hit the ground, though I could see it being reviewed. Didn't change the outcome given that it was a catch, so I'm not going to bother arguing about it.That's odd, because the replay I saw showed him taking a hand off the ball and the tip of it hitting the ground.Wasn't reviewed because it was a clear catchYesno?Did that even get reviewed? How is that a catch? The most important play in NFL history doesn't even merit a cursory look? Yes, I actually do, but that's neither here nor there. Both teams benefitted from the deal.Anyone think Philip Rivers could have done that?J
Scored 17 points on the Pats? I don't see why not.Anyone think Philip Rivers could have done that?J

The good game pat on the back by Myers and the Eli scramble comment....classic
Patsfan here, no clue what they're talking aboutI thought we got a gift of a call with the spot on that Feagles punt, we were due to eat one so maybe that was itTyree grab? awesome effort and I think he had itI also thought the tip of the ball touched the ground. And you are front and center alice. Lmao @ doing a post search on me.
When you make that big a deal about yourself in retiring then immediately unretire, I don't feel sorry for those guys.JThere's one guy I feel very sorry for...Junior Seau
I hate belichick, but I totally agree with this post. Nothing to see here.Hey guys, I HATE Bellicheck, but I don't think he realized there was more time on the clock. Half the crowd didn't either. He's a jerk in my opinion, but this was really no big deal.
I'm not an expert on the rules. He definitely had total control of the ball but it looked like the tip of the ball scraped the ground when he held it over his head. Is this still considered a catch even if it hits the ground?Doesn't matter if the ball was controlled before and throughout, which it was. Probably not, but if we're making a list of players who deserve crazy respect from this year's playoffs, Rivers is close to the top. The dude played on a torn ACL for God's sake.Anyone think Philip Rivers could have done that?J

18-1And you are front and center alice. Lmao @ doing a post search on me.
Control and two feet and/or other body part, which he never had. I saw him moving around to secure the ball all the way to the ground. First one hand, then the other, then the tip hit the ground. Is interference reviewable? Was there a flag?Doesn't matter if the ball was controlled before and throughout, which it was.
