For many weeks people in this thread complained how the "Dead" have become an afterthought to the show.. and this episode showed us that the characters themselves have hit that point also.I doubt any of the other groups- that we've seen are actively scavenging- would have found that spot. It's a day day plus away and thoroughly camouflaged with all the enormous and garish carnival stuff. Tough to see.
Of course the roof was going to collapse.
Michonne giving up when she saw Rick go down by dropping her sword... Clear what they were going for, risky combined with the van pout afterwards. Just felt really out of character and contrived to milk another couple minutes out of the show. Given what I've seen of her all these years, I believe she would have gone ape #### on the feasting zombies... Maybe carelessly... but crazy slice and dice, not drop her sword.
Garbage Pail kids. So stupid.
With Tara giving up the Josie and the #####cats gang, we're in for another episode at least of exactly what she told Judith before moving to any kind of negan sorry advancement. Speaking of Judith, I did like that she seems to not cry and has learned sign language... optimal skills for a post apocalyptic baby.
Rick and Michonne joking throughout the Carnival battle, showed how nonchalant they had become fighting the dead.. Ho Hum more dead to kill
...Tara's "conversation" with Judith was good in getting her thoughts out on why she didn't just give up Oceanside when she got back..
One of Oceanside risked her life to save Tara a couple of times which, as she said, there are very few in their world now days that would do so, and so she felt a need to protect them.
She has a pretty good read on how Oceanside will react, and how Rick will react and she is torn between helping the group that saved her first, Rick's group, or the girl who saved her the 2nd time, Oceanside.. In the end, we all knew she'd choose to tell rick, it was just a matter of when.
