lucky for the show Kirkman explained in the comics why the Kingdom was the way it was. I can only imagine if the show writers had the concept with no explanation how that might have went.

But i guess if we can believe the Kingdom wants to act like they like in a renaissance fair we can believe these people want to speak like Yoda. 

 
If the tiger died without a head shot, would it become a zombie tiger?  

(Ok, no.  But still, that could suck)

 
3/10 .. honestly don't know why i keep watching this show

dumpster whores made a deal for 12 and then 10... 10 what? guns?

rick and the gang are so outnumbered and outgunned right now... good luck in the "War".. they must be almost out of ammo again no?

 
so i'm playing the new Walking Dead game, really is insane how the writers for this video game are better then the writers for the actual show. i would love nothing more then to read in between seasons that they make a few changes with some of their staff

PHEW! You guys, coral came this close to dying. 

Garbage Pail kids are awesome. They do the synchronized circle marching, they shoot flares and smoke bombs, and like David Sedaris, me talk pretty one day. Best thing ever.

Also had flashbacks to the Claimed gang and how Rick got out of having a gun pointed at his head.

I'm sure there are good things too once I consider it.

 
At the end i just wound up hating garbage pail kids more - half expected Dwight or Eugene to meet Lucille at the end.  We are on the threshhold of WAR and now - a brief 6 month pause for effect.

 
#### you guys, that was awesome. Bout time we got some good old fashioned murderzzzzz. With a z. Everything is bigger with several z's at the end.

The scene where Rick tells neegan he's going to kill every single one of them was pretty good.  I believed him and so did neegan

You would think the Walking Dead directors could direct a better battle scene.  They're just terrible.  Get The Lord of the Rings guys in there or something.

This Sasha missing Abraham after he died and these dreams/flashbacks would have been more effective if the show, you know, developed the relationship. I never cared. The writers do such a crappy job.

That was a terrible battle scene. People just standing around within feet of each other and not getting shot. Rick and Jadis talking on top during a battle. King E blabbering rhetoric during the battle. The tiger attacking just the Saviors. No one shot it?  Aside from a couple of horses, did everyone just walk to Alexandria?  Did everyone just walk through the front gate? Somehow Dwight found time to carve "Didn't Know" and luckily Darryl was the one to find it. Mighty Michonne got rag-dolled.  Sure Sasha, take a ride in the coffin. Makes sense. Negan has been living in the burbs for too long. The writers have even found a way to emasculate him along with most of the characters.

If he believed him, he should have killed Rick before he finished the sentence. Which would have saved the episode.

 
Are we supposed to believe the junkyard ladies didn't know Dwight was helping Rick or that they won't tell neegan?

 
I turned it on after the Rangers game just when Negan was talking to Rick and the tiger jumped in. I quit the show, I think after the first episode of this half but figured I'd check out the big battle to end the season. Wow, that was bad. I mean, network TV bad. After not having seen an episode for a while, the cheesiness of the show is amplified. Sad!

 
Rick took that bullet to the gut like a champ.  He s barely limping. Lmao. Ok episode.  Way too much close up sahsa.  Also what has happened to Michonne?  She used to be superhero badass.  Now she almost dies to one trash chick on a roof. Rick is rubbing off on her in a bad way.

Carl should have died.  He's barely in any episdoes anyway.

Really missed the CGI deer. Thought he may have been negans secret weapon.

:goodposting: Thought it was well done and setup next seasons War very well.

There was always something "off" about the Garbage Pail kids but I didn't see an all out betrayal coming. LOVED having them roll in in garbage trucks.. even Negan got a cheap "Garbage People" dig in  :lol:

Numbers are definitely in the favor of the Saviors right now so can't be a direct attack war... Rick and Company will need to find others, maybe Oceanside, and use Dwight for insight and sabotage to get the upper hand.

Will say though, as an overall season went it was pretty "blah" except for 3 or 4 episodes...
Have to think at least the first half of next season is nothing but fighting so hopefully not too many of the "Filler" episodes like this season was.

Sorry, but if you are sitting there thinking you have everything under control and a F'n Tiger comes out of no where, the :shock: value alone is going to make you hesitate.. Those looking at the barrel of the gun are looking for any out they can get and so would be faster to respond then those relaxed and ready to watch a beating.

 
 How about them shooting the trucks on the way out, negans window rolled down, middle finger extended. Nobody gets hit

Negan giving the finger was the only good part of the show.  Why did Sasha have to go all zombie?  She could have popped out alive just the same way and attacked Negan.

And I was so rooting for Karl to take Lucille to the noggin.  The only time Rick is worth is a #### is when's he totally lost control.  He sucks at planning anything.

On Talking Dead, it was mentioned that the gun used was the same gun Snake Plisken used in Escape from NY.

As much as I love the show, I find that the direction of the show, in general has gone down, ever since they left the prison.  I don't want to see an entire episode with just Darryl and Beth or a 90 minute episode on just Morgan and his so called mentor who taught him how NOT to be a stone cold killer.  I want to see Rick and Darryl in EVERY episode.  I guess they have expanded too large now and had to go into that direction.  Maybe after this war, a few more people will get killed off, Alexandria will get destroyed and Rick and company have to move on.

According to Talking Dead, and Scott Gimple, he mentioned that the first 4 shows in the fall will be on the war.  Nothing else I caught that was talked about for next season, which is about 6 1/2 months away.

Because if she was already a walker, Rick's crew wouldn't have to try and save her.

The gun Snake Plisken used was the one Negan had when he spotted Maggie.  The one Daryl had was the one they're talking about above, like it had a muffler on it.  That gun was cool.

I don't remember Gimple saying the first 4 episodes were on the war, but that could be true.  He said the first four episodes would blow minds and destroy tv sets... something like that.

I felt the same way.  You'd think Abe and Sasha were an old long lost married couple.  I never cared about Sasha or Rosita and hated their dialog.  I miss Abraham, but not for his love interests.  This episode spent way too much time on Sasha and her dreams.

Too right.  Rick's best scene was when he ripped the throat out of the "claimed" guy... and that was because Carl was about to get raped.  Rick snapped and did his best work.

I am thinking that the garbage people had already been taken by Negan, which explains them having no guns and since they didn't have future goods and services to steal, they took slaves from their crew that she was trying to get returned

If they wanted to flashback it shouldve been Maggie and Glenn, ya know a relationship that they actually developed on the show. Not one that came out of nowhere and ended just as quickly.

 
Maggie's speech at the end where she's talking to Rick about how it all started when Glenn saved Rick back in Atlanta (when he was trapped in the tank) and it all culminated to this point.  Morgan is the one who saved Rick and took him in after Rick left the hospital.  If not for Morgan, Rick probably never makes it to ATL to meet Glenn.

Oh come on, everything is perfectly clear in the middle of an ambush / surprise attack.  

 
I havent seen the episode yet and debating if I even will since these reviews make it sound like the finale crapped the bed as expected but did they show where the dude from Hilltop went with the Asian guy last week?
