Think it was hearing of the pending gang-rape of Michonne that made his decision easy.

I wished there was some sense on guys turning...seems like some die and don't turn for a long while...then others turn the instant they die. However, that's the only thing that makes sense of the instant zombie in house. Although...to make that damned zombie...it took a crap ton of noise that no one hears?

That was ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as the lawns which are still being cut...probably by someone who has trained the zombies to mow grass.

Am I the only one who thinks Abraham isn't exactly the badass they portray him to be? On talking dead he said Abraham would have just lifted and tossed the bed with the guy in it and killed both guys in the room. He seems rather soft to me, at least so far.

Below average episode IMO. I don't like the new happy Michonne. She's better when she trusts no one and is always on guard.

Eugene's information is classified... really? So if Eugene dies the secret dies with him? WTF? "Hey Eugene, write down what needs to be done just in case you are in a plane crash or something." Is the information in danger in falling into the hands of the Chinese or North Koreans?

Killing zombies has become a little stale, IMO. Close up head shot, knife through forehead, ok got it. It isn't exciting as the first season. So in that case, the characters need to be more interesting.

Michonne washes clothes and puts on a new shirt. Can't we find a new one for Rick?

Show just isn't doing it for me like it used to.

Not sure if not being able to see 2-4/day is the difference or if the show just simply is not as good.

I think when you watch 2-3 eps in a night you don't get to dissect a poor show and whatever questions you might have had, possibly get answered in the next episode leaving you with little time to complain about it.

I have seen many complaints on here about various episodes on various shows, only to have the following weeks episode answer those complaints.

When you binge watch you get the instant satisfaction. You don't get a week to impatiently dwell on a particular show.

Anyhow, I will continue to watch and try not to nitpick too much.

My main gripe (probably not fair to compare to other great shows) is, on great shows each scene is either very interesting or a big part into the story line.

The last half dozen episodes or so it just seems most scenes are not very interesting or don't seem to have much to do with the story. Meaning it was just filler or a scene that lead no where.

These dudes that showed up at the house. Hopefully they mean something later on, otherwise I don't see that point.

I was very happy to see this scientist appear, finally...we may have some sort of resolution or an aspect of the show that might lead towards an end but I have a feeling this guy is a sham.

His info is classified, don't tell anyone despite the avg life expectancy of people in the apocalypse is 6 months. we wouldn't want anyone else knowing how to save the world should you die but that probably is because classified means i don't have the info to save the world.

Was excited to see this Abraham dude brought into the show.

OK, a new direction, some new progress, he has a scientist dude with some info....YES!!!!!...........SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH...we lost our truck in a zombie attack now lets follow Glenn around for an episode or 2 trying to reunite with Maggie.

I don't do previews, so hopefully next week we are seeing what the sanctuary is as it looks like 2 groups are headed that way.

Guys just get the complaining out of the way now.

There will be a buildup and a long sappy scene when Rick/Carl/Michone realize Judith is still alive.

So get your complaints out now.

At least we got some Rosita scenes.

Seriously, I thought it was a blah episode, but some of the criticism is silly. They showed Rick open the door knowing that that guy would turn and create a situation that would only help him escape. People don't actually watch the show, do they? Same thing with the bus being shot up in the back, they basically told us the bus is in trouble and last night they told us this dead guy in the toilet was going to turn and cause a distraction.

As Bob said we heard a fight when they first woke Rick up and then a guy choked another guy out in front of Rick, yet all of a sudden the guys downstairs are going to care about what sounded like a minor scuffle in the bathroom? Seems like fights happen all the time and are pretty much ignored.

We also get discussions on people turning? How long did it take Shane to turn before Carl shot him? It didn't take long for Amy to turn in Laurie's arms. I am 99% sure that the CDC guy said that the time to turn is variable and that some turn really fast and some don't.

Again, it really is like people don't actually watch the show at all. I can understand comments on the show not being great, it wasn't. It didn't really go anywhere, but all three complaints above were shown to be easily explainable either many times before or actually earlier in the show last night.


On Abraham, I am sort of thinking that he doesn't really believe that guy is a scientist. I think he "wants" to believe that he is otherwise, he is just a dude who enjoys killing zombies and has no purpose and has to evaluate what he is. Maybe he is just dumb, but I think he needs a mission.

I agree with you. I didn't really enjoy last night at all. The first two episodes were fine, but I am not a fan of Abraham and his crew yet. They seem like cartoons to me and completely out of place in the show. I already posted what I think about the scientist guy. It seems pretty obvious and I hope his story ends soon.

I also thought it was odd that nobody heard Rick and the fat guy tussling in the bathroom. But at that point I'd already placed the episode in the "Meh" category.

I can let that go, as others mentioned the other dude nearly killed his friend no one seemed to care. Also when these guys go into a house probably common for them to knock crap over while looking for stuff. Seems like they are past the "Hey, I heard a loud noise, just wanna make sure you are OK" routine.

Of all the houses around there, why would that group select that one. How did they get inside with the couch in the way of the door, is there another door, it didn't look like they broke it down. Those guys sure were loud throughout the entire episode, you would think more zombies would be attacking them, or that they would still be alive.

Absolutely but that's not a new idea. Season 3's entire theme was about humans being more dangerous than the walkers. And like I posted last night, Rick's done the whole kill or be killed by bad guys much better before.

I think it was also something to get them moving. Michonne had asked Rick earlier in the episode if that place was "home" and he said something about staying there until they could figure things out. Now, they are on the move again.

Well you better get used to it since "other people" will always come along because as I said, it is one of the shows points.

I think it's safe to say I'm a big fan of the show. I just thought last night's episode was really weak, arguably one of the weakest in a long time. Way too much filler and not enough happening to legitimately move the story forward. I don't need to be reminded that there are dangers in this world other than walkers and I certainly don't need to see Rick hiding under a bed for most of an episode to bring that point up again. You want to remind me of how dangerous people can be? That's fine. Do it in a way that doesn't significantly pale in comparison to what you did in "Nebraska"

He will come to and tell the guy on the porch and whoever else survived, which will explain the one that turned into a Zombie and off they go hunting Rick and whoever he might be with.

They did mention on talking dead that the Abraham character was going to very similar to the comic version of him (not a comic reader so I don't know what that means).

See, I'm betting we never hear from them again ( or maybe a 5 minute encounter). Think it was just a kick to get them mving, like the cornfield walkers were the kick to get Glenn and Abraham's crew moving to get the gang back together.

One reason I think we will hear from them again. Jeff Kober is a veteran actor (China Beach, various other shows and movies) who was the guy on the porch who went into the house so that Rick could get away. He really had nothing to do in this episode, so I don't see him agreeing to do the show unless he is in several episodes and has more than that brief if not barely, a cameo.

They can go a few different ways with that. Did you see the look of the Dr. Porter dude at the end of the episode. He looked demented. Is he really a Doctor or masquerading as one. Maybe all he knows really is what some real doctor said about saving the world. Maybe that real doctor is now dead.

One reason I think we will hear from them again. Jeff Kober is a veteran actor (China Beach, various other shows and movies) who was the guy on the porch who went into the house so that Rick could get away. He really had nothing to do in this episode, so I don't see him agreeing to do the show unless he is in several episodes and has more than that brief if not barely, a cameo.

They've had some recognizable actors in the show before, only to have them killed off in that same episode (the Philly guy in the bar season 2 comes to mind, along with some of the heads of the gang at the old people home). I kind of hope we see these guys from the house again, but wouldn't be one bit surprised if we don't.

Well Rick's group and Tyreese's group are headed in the same direction now. It's likely they will meet each other soon.

Episode was kind of far fetched all around.

Of all the houses around there, why would that group select that one. How did they get inside with the couch in the way of the door, is there another door, it didn't look like they broke it down. Those guys sure were loud throughout the entire episode, you would think more zombies would be attacking them, or that they would still be alive.

Carl, acting like a immature punk again until Michonne opens up to him about her kid/family. Carl acting like that every other episode is getting old quick.

In terms of the couch, first, they seem strong enough to push it. Second, Rick actually didn't push it all the way before getting tired. Since the showed us the second one, I wonder if he never pushed it all the way.

my daughter and I said the same thing.. He gave up pushing it completely to the door, probably thinking "we are safe here" which goes back to his response to Michonne asking if they were staying.

My guess on the "why" introduce the gang that was in the house.. We are not done with them yet.. I think the first guy that was choked out in front of Rick is still alive. Yeah, Jeff Kober isn't a brand name who would be able to demand to be in several episodes. I checked his IMDB and he has done a lot of single episode appearances for TV shows the last few years. He might just have a friend in the show and agreed to play a bit part.

Wasn't the main actor Rick killed in the bar in "Nebraska" someone some fans recognized? I seem to recall some talk at the time that's why he was cast - to have his death at the end of the episode come as a surprise since he was recognizable and some folks might assume he'd be hanging around for awhile.

We will absolutely see them again...that's why the guy saw Rick and then was choked out...the writers wanted this group to hunt Rick and crew down...we won't be rid of them for a while.

Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but I was trying to calculate where they were when the "smart guy" killed the truck. Tara said they've been on the road for about 3 hours, so I will say they traveled anywhere from 150 to 165 miles. Knowing they stayed off the major highway, but still going to Washington through South Carolina, I calculate they were either just short of Greenville, SC, or just past Greenville, SC on US highway 123 / 23 N
