***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (7 Viewers)

The Carol stepford wife thing was great.

So... where is Carls squeeze running off to?
I think she could be a plant by some bad guys and that maybe she was heading to see them and report the arrival of Rick's group. They said that she had shown up recently there 'on her own'.

Seriously that group has to look like the baddest mother ####ers to that Alexandria group.
One of the things I have really enjoyed about this season is showing how the group could easily be viewed as the most dangerous elements in the story. It's only because we view the story through their eyes that they are regarded as the protagonists.

Just realized the cute blonde (who I assume Rick is gonna bang) was the hot red head maid in American Horror Story season 1.

This show is a lot like the people here at FBG ...every group they run into has a bunch of nice people ...then there is always a few ########s mixed in that like to piss people off.

Thought this was a great episode but ...

Everybody gets to shower and we're deprived of a group shower scene with Maggie, Rosita and Tara?

Imagine the lathering.

Instead we get naked Rick.

That's just poor writing. Really really poor.

At the beginning, before they went through the gate, didn't Carl see someone in that house outside the gate? Just a quick glance and then she was gone?

Yeah. I assumed later that it was the same girl from inside.
Carls future GF
Just watched again... its her.
And her magazine/comic-book in the attic was called "wolf fight!"

Her group is the wolf pack thing from Noahs old home

Good catch. I saw that at the beginning and wondered what that was, but forgot about it. Makes sense now.

That said, I was thinking the same thing as posted earlier that she is part of a group on the outside trying to figure out what is on the inside. I don't trust her at all.

I think the mysteries at this current point are:

1. Who the girl is and who she is working with on the outside. If she was on her own, I couldn't imagine her ever wanting to go back out by herself.

2. Who took the gun. This could be the girl in #1 since she watched them come in and was on the outside of the gate.

3. Who are the Wolves.

4. Who took out Noah's neighborhood. This could tie in to #1, #2 and #3.

I don't think there is much mystery at all in the new neighborhood. Carol was awesome, Glenn was awesome, Daryl was awesome and Rick's spiel at the end was even better. Overall, for an episode that wasn't really about any action, I thought it was a really good one.

Yeah, when the leader said she exiled 3 people and she said it was a death sentence, welp there is a 100% chance they are coming back to take this place.

Ricks missing gun in the blender is what is baffling me at the moment.

She's a pretty nifty teenager. She knows those woods because she hid from Carl pretty quickly. She also knows he was tracking her so she is nifty when it comes to being followed. She is not one to mess with.

Only questions now is if Carl will tell Rick or anyone about her leaving.

Damnit, it took me too long to post my thoughts. I definitely agree that it is possible. I can't think of a good reason for her to go outside the walls if she was on her own. The part of her not speaking for a long time would seem to fit that, but why, once more comfortable, would she ever want to go back outside. I was a little upset that Carl wouldn't even be suspicious of her going outside.

I'm not sure why Carl didn't mention "Hey I saw a stranger watching us" before the group put themselves behind a locked gate.

good point on the Talking Dead about a zombie didn't seem to be there when he hid the gun the first time

Or that he's been laying there in wait for a couple of years.

there in trouble with Carl. That kid is growing way too fast, he will outgrow his role in a year or 2. there is some good story angles with him but he is getting too grown
His role at this point is a regular member of the group. He hasn't been a 'kid' for at least a couple of seasons.
